"Shoot!" Lindsey hissed. "I meant to talk to Sims about it. Damn it."

"At the watch party, I went party crashing. I ended up at Wade's. Rock was there, so was Salcido and Cruz. So Rock was upset that San Diego had to play at ten AM Pacific time. He was saying how the league was east coast biased and stuff like that. It was no big deal, really, but Salcido wasn't liking it. The big issue came when Rock said that the Dragon's were really untested. It was part of his opinion that we shouldn't get too cocky about a game. But maybe it was the way her said it. I think he just meant that the Dragons haven't really had to face a team that could really challenge them. It just came across as him saying that they haven't paid their dues. The other guys were pretty offended. It got heated but then he complained that they were taking Monday off, saying basically that by doing so they weren't taking the Jets seriously. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Crunch and Cruz stormed out and Wade was obviously irate."

"I tried to break the tension a couple time, but it didn't work. Anyway, so at the end it was just me, Wade and Rock there. Talk about tense. I don't think he realized how mad they were because he stuck around. I thought it might be because of me, so I left. I think that's what that big pow wow this morning was all about. I'm kind of feeling weird about it. I feel like Rock is entitled to have his opinions and that it doesn't reflect on his commitment, but he should have been more sensitive to the mood in the room. The other part is this is news. I don't know how to report it, or even if i should. I was there, but not as a reporter. And if I defend Rock, then players will be pissed. If I side with Cruz, Salcido and Wade, Rock will be upset. If I stay neutral, it might look like I'm not supporting the team. But if any of this leaks, then I get scooped on a story I was present for. SO, I'm fucked any which way."

 Mindy shook he rhead  with a furrowed  brow,what a dumbass? and he stayed  there  after  Wade's  buddies left...who does that!

  her face was grim,Last year..  Titans were on a  5   game win streak. Looked like they might  run the table and take the division.. every  one was  workign ..cept one Guy Hanner Shaw.. DB ... 3 year player,,not bad, but he wasn't going to be on  an all star team, anytime soon... he  complains about playing time, and his contract  and   was shooting his mouth off , about the  team being   one touchdown away from Collaspe...

 She started  to hit the  Big   bag,   short  hard     jams  with   Roundhouses  mixed in.he was right.. other guys  got Bummed  out, it  affect the cohesion  and the team fell apart.. 3  games  left in the regular season, they only had to win   two of those..and they  went  0-for.

 The team cut him, right after  that last game. since we didn't makle theplayoffs, it didn;'t matter, but  he  was sent out of town on a rail..he's up in Canada now

 The Punches  were   getting harder.Those guys  sweated  through  17 games together..plus  everything since April, you get a   NFG come in  and antagonize them.. that could be just what the doctor  ordered for the Jets.. rift grow fast, that's why Adam  let
 Hall and  best beat up on hom in practice..'taking  one for the team"... and  also why he
  punched   Hall out.. at least that's what Mik says..If  Mik was right, it was a good thing..well.. except  for   Adam..he  took a pounding.  she giggled  darkly,at least Adam doesn';t have to eat  through a straw.

 You know? the whole country has been waiting for some thing like this.. The team kept  Steele out of the  limelight, until the Dumbass wreck the car  while   drunk.. two under aged  girls  in the back.. he might never see the   inside of an NFL   locker room aagain//but that.. and   the other things  were taken care of pretty fast... this comes out, the other announcers  will be  all over it.. trying to push the splinter in  deeper so the infection takes  root.

"I don't know if this is big enough to cause deep discord. I get where everyone is coming from but it's just one guys contrary opinion. I'm sure Sims will know how to deal with it. No one's asked my about it, and I'm fine with that. I'm just not sure how to report it... or not report it. If you think it will be something hostile press will pick at then maybe just staying quiet is best. Or I can try misdirection. Acknowledge the rift but make it about something trivial like pie recipes."

   Mindy  was  hitting the  bag harder.wasn't he  Wade's  guest? how do you do that  at  someone places? I mean..sure.. as  Things go, its  not  as bad  as  a backer  getting his   face broke., but if there was anyone who strongly disagreed? no one said anything...but.. this  , little or not.. If the Guys are Bummed out  enough about it.it  could get bad?... First string got better., the  body was girls most their scholarships  at the end of the season.did stop of   from making the playoffs  though..

"Yeah. I get it. He should have been more sensitive to the other guys. But what am I going to do about it. I guess I'll bury it, but if there's any discord in front of the Jets, something might leak."

"You know, the guys are going to be in here soon. I kinda want to watch them work out. So you think they'll mind if I ogle them and drool?"

  Fry and Hebner  entered. Hey ladies , guys are  going to  work put for  40 Minutes or  so, and then go to lunch. You can stay if you want, Just give up a machine someone wants it.

  Fry was unrolling the  ladders  for the speed guys to use.  all the Guys  had their  shorts and  T-shirts on  for practice  anyway, so they  Came in the  went to the   fav work outs.

 Line man  wet to the free  weights,  Backs and LBs  went to the mqachines..   Adam and most of the  skill guys  went to    dumb bebs   for ;fast twicth' lifts..in short order  Line man  were yellign  as they  tried to beat the ersonla   best's in  bench  and curls

  some  guys ran the treadmills...fry had the recivers and Bck who weren;t lifting do the ladders , timing them, Then   Adam Got   Tracy  to  cover the  ',mostly haled  ' mark on his  hand,  and  began to hiit the speed  nagg   ..Mik  hit the one next to  him and they were trying to see who  could get the thing ts  to go the fastest with out Missing

"Why can't i join them in the showers? I'm single." She giggled.

Fry and Hebner came in to warn them. "Maybe we should go do some callis and stay out of the way."

Lindsey went over to do some body weight exercises in a place she could watch, keeping Mindy near by so she could whisper comments

 Mindy worked  with kettle Bells players  were   jagging  each other  to push them to the PRs.

 Hebner  brought a tackling Dummy in.. he  called outalright..  Side   Jumps over the  Dummy,, the  guy with the most   jumps in 30  seconds.. I but thier lunch  at  The den

 Non of the lineman  cared to  try, to high of a  Jump, let alone sideways.. a few backers    tried , DBs and other  such did.. Mik waved it  off because of his knee.

 Adam  punched the Heavy  bag while he  waited his    turn.. Hands  moving like a blur.

Ben came in, not a big fan of the gym. He preferred to run or swim. He looked around the equipment, then taped his hands and set to work on a heavy bag.

at least half the team, noticed the  ladies  there, It may have  even helped work outs  a bit. As  no one  wanted to look like a slacker. The  fans were on   and  the doors  open  as the  guys  t-shirts   were  soaked , hair plastered .or  bald heads  shiny  with sweat .

 about  40 Minutes into the works outs , Sims and Cal  came in, they watched  quietly for a minute or two, and Sim   called out.

  Finish whatever   sets  you have going. Then go and change  , we have visitors coming in at Lunch, to watch our practice  and rub elbows  with Dragons. After  lunch we hit the
 drills  hard, and  we'll have a  10 play scrimmage.

Ben gave the heavy bag one last resounding thump, peeled the tape off, and headed for the showers.

Lindsey moved around a small circuit with Mindy doing light calisthenics but still watching the players. Unlike the public gym, which was a mix of men and women exercising at various levels intensity, the Dragons were pure machines of masculine power. Glistening muscles, the low rumble of strain, the smell of sweat and effort... it made made her face flush and her juices percolate. More than once she glanced over at Mindy, wondering if she was feeling it the same way.

"Tell me you're not thinking about that shower." Her voice was low and head tilted in that way that said 'don't lie to me'. She scanned the room, smelling the air and barely fended off a few fantasies.

After 40 minutes of arousing torture, Sims' voice rang out telling the guys to wrap it up.

"All good things come to an end. But this one is going to linger with me for a while." She smiled to the guys who looked her way on the way out, but eyed Wade with a bit off hunger as he passed. "...and I have a date. Mhm."

After the room was emptied, Lindsey grinned at Mindy "Best job in the world, amIright?"

 Heather came in and smiled at Lindsey and Mindy, then she began her hard workout, she was going toe to toe with the guys on the weights.

From Meetings

Entering the Gym, Lindsey started at her usual place. In the calisthenics space, she started her stretching routine.

"So, how was the pep rally? Did I miss anything?"

 Mindy shook her  head. Afte r changing she  went  right to the  treadmills.No?  Not really, dancing, a few  songs from other   people who got up to sing... Duce  and Havers were trying hit on dragonettes.. didn't  work. I saw Haver  go up to Adam and Sage  and  Adam must of told him to take a hike..Ben and LU-TI left early,, Adam left  around normal ';Adam Time/..Mik and I stayed a bit later, to  help  Yuto keep the party going. But  curfew was catching up.... Harley left  with   Salcido and Cruz....and? heather   left  with Megan.. everyone else  , i guess..Just went home... I figure. if  we win...Monday will be the  Victory party.., and the following week, , Maybe  Tuesday..we'll have a send off party, because  we have to  be  down in Miami for the press things   and all the  stuff the media   tries  to dredge up..By firday before the Game? They are asking players   , what the Sister's first Hamster's  name was.

   I saw your car  outside  of  Wade's    Place.....she let that hang there.

At Mindy's incomplete statement, Lindsey glanced up at her. A sly smile played on her lips. "Yeah. I was there. All night." She was in her split, reaching way out in front of her with her chest on the floor. "I think I told you the other night, that it was headed there. We may have waited too long. After we went to the movie on Wednesday we were both feeling it, but he said it take all night and he didn't want me to be too tired for my Pirate Cruise shoot"

"By the way, that cruise was awesome. There's the day cruise part that goes down the coast. It's like a traditional cruise with sun, and food and pool and activities. Then you can get off at the southern port, or stay for the night activities back to the north. At night there's food and dancing. It's also a bit of a meat market, but if you're there with someone you probably won't get harassed. If you start at the south, then you can party and there are rooms for private time. I mean the rooms are there for the day also. You can do it either way or both. I thought it was great."

"But anyway, waiting the extra two days had him a bit... eager?"

 Mindy  Giggle.....I bet he was?  Britt  says he's one of the guys who doesn't  Sample theDragonettes. he. went out  with Angie   after camp broke, but they only went out a couple times.

 depending on  what Mik  does in the off season, maybe i can talk him into one of those....

Stretching deeply to her right, Lindsey glanced her acknowledgment about Wade not bathing in the Dragonettes. "I believe it. He does have some kind of ethic about authenticity. I guess it could be good or bad, depending on what's actually behind it. His dry run is definitely over though."

When Mindy brought up Wade's  physique, Lindsey giggled "Yeeeee-ah!" She nodded as she stretched  deeply to her left "He's huge so huge. I have to say I forgot how much that turns me on. When I run my hands over those arms and shoulders." She shuddered. "I better stop before I work myself up. Yeah, it was so... yum. And He's so strong. I felt do fragile when he held me."

"He's so funny too" She turned her hips to make her wide straddle split into a flat vertical. "After like the third round, he was like: IF we do this again.. blah blah. I was thinking, YA! this is definitely happening again. But he's just humble like that. I hope he gets over that, but I think he still has it in his head that I'm out of his league. That's cute... maybe flattering... but also, no. The man is definitely worthy."

  Mindy  Giggled in response.Ita  Amazing how  many women like Bigger Guys, Ya Know?... Kane? he  could have   a shot at a  few of the Dragon Ladies, But  he just  wiats , and see who comes  around and asks  for a dance..

  So... we  win, we  go  down to  Miami ina week in a half or so.. all those    media meets  interviews   .; Yuto  got us a whole , Hotel, so  the Dragons  and some of the guets   can be in the same Builing. Those poor  Jets  hirls    had  to get a hotel 'near' the jets. From what i understand , Yuto sprucj  for a 4 stars  while theJets are at a  2 star..serves them right

Lindsey switched directions for a few seconds then started her spinal stretches over the bench. "I love big guys. I do. I mean, it's not a deal breaker. It's just one of a list of turn ons. I was happy with Adam's physique just fine. But I have to say it definitely adds a lot of heat. You know there's something very secure about being with a physically imposing man." Taking a moment, she used a dumbbell to fold her back over the bench.

"Oh, so like when we left the movie on Wednesday, you know, walking around the square, Wade was worried that guys would be hitting on me. I was like, No. No one is walking up to a woman on the arm of a six-four 260lb football player and trying to flirt. It's not happening. Men have a survival instinct."

After she was done with the bench, Lindsey went into her standing stretches. "I'm looking forward to Miami. The last time I was there, I had a great time. Sage and I went. We were there like three days. I have so many memories.... and some fuzzy areas too, but it was all good. It was insane. I guess this time I'll be more grown up, and we'll have to work this time, but maybe we'll get a chance to check out the Marina - lots of waterfront clubs - and downtown."

"Yeah it sucks for the New York cheer squad. Two stars That's criminal? I mean sure, it's fine if you can't afford better, but the New York Jets can afford better. Jeez, a three star business hotel like the Hilton or Marriott would have cut them a bulk deal. They do that all the time. Luxury has never been cheaper. The Jets managers must be incompetent or they're just that miserly."

"So, how's it going with Mik? I guess it must be heaven. I never see your two more than a few inches apart. I mean other than like when he has to be in meetings and practice."

  Naw? there  was  some time I was at the office, and he goes home. We'll talk on the phone. Its  really cool, some time we'll be  hanging out  and  he'll watch game  films  and
 I'll watch  with him..OMG..talk about opening your eyes. I can see the whole field  now... its   like being on the field with him!

  she giggles again as she steps of the treadmill , wiping her face,Of course, there is the mornings  where i really don't want to get out of bed in the morning.

 I'm going to get a shower, I want  be ready to go out there , with the NFL  folks running around.

"I know what you mean about not wanting to get out of bed." Lindsey agreed as she jumped rope. "For all kinds of reason. I didn't want to get up this morning, but staying was less interesting when Wade got up. He made me breakfast."

When Mindy announced that she was going for her shower, Lindsey nodded. OK. I'm going to finish these and I'll be right there." After Mindy left she continued to skip for another three minutes then followed to the shower.

After her workout, Lindsey swept by her locker and stripped off her sweaty workout gear. She grabbed a towel and her shower bag and headed into the showers where Mindy was already drenching under her spray.

"Hey, chica." Lindsey took the shower head next to Mindy's "I don't know why but I've been really hitting the workouts way harder. Last Tuesday, I went swimming with Ben, but after he left, I kept going and going until I couldn't move my arms anymore. Then I went home and slept. The next morning I hit it hard again. I feel good though"

  Mindy   smiled trying to  get her  long  hair rinsed,Yeah?  I like running.. I've been  doing the stairs  at the studio , when i there for  lunch... that helps me out a lot. Mik and Adam will be running  alot in the off season, I think I'm gonna  ask to run with them

  she   started to  dry off  near the    entrance of the  shower  be  for  stepping into the ,locker  area,, and using one of the  Buildings  Hairdryer  .
