Chapter One

In (Reverse) Alphabetical order...

Zander reserve status actually continues to have space at Fort McAlistar to bunkdown in.  It's limited to a bunkbed and a footlocker, but it's a roof and safeplace to pass time.  This is in exchange for the occassional 'favor' of going out to scout about this or that.  It doesn't really matter since he spends his time roaming around carousing would have him wandering anyway and getting paid to do it is a pretty good plus.  He does make certain to return from his travels at least once a week to hang out with the party at the Northshire Inn.

Victoria is actually pleased, one way or another she's able to stay busy.  All with her continued training and now the added activity of crafting some potions she stays busy.  With the components gathered, she's able to Brew (1) Potion as a gift for each characters.  The potion is limited to first level spells, Healing potions, or Mana Potions.  She's also able to scribe (2 levels of spells) entries (scrolls) into book of scrolls.  She stays in touch with the other characters by making certain to attend Karaoke Night at the Northshire Inn to kick back with some booze and loose singing with good company.

Saskia splits her time between the Misty Valley and home.  She was young and while her initial training was done with, she still had things to learn and going home now and then kept both points of residents from feeling old or stale.  All Hollow's Eve is particular fun at home, though the Autumn Festival at Northshire was bustling and equally interesting in it's own way.

Mei and Sara return and extra spend a little extra time trying to track down what happened at the graveyard.  It quickly turns into a dead end as all activity of suspicious nature seems to have stopped, for now at least.  With the stipend sent from home, they don't really have to worry about sustaining a lifestyle, so they continue to investigate supernatural happenings in the Misty Valley.  They stay in contact with the party on the Friday night outtings they gather for in the Northshire inn.

Kristi finds herself bunked up in a room with Dana and two other room mates.  All orphans that were now too old to be supported by the Orphanage, and now forced out to survive on their own.  They seem to get by, and get steady work from Caroline.  Your knack for magic has you apprenticing with Caroline, which is another excuse to have you slaving away in her sweatshops, while learning magic from her.  She looks forward to time away from the gloomy atmosphere when the party meets at the Northshire Inn.  Kristi even manages to talk sometimes manages to talk Dana or one of her other room mates to come along for a much needed break.

Clotilde like Zander, is dormed at Fort McAlister but at the small temple, where she stays on partial retainer in service of the Divine.  She finds herself doing what's expected to her, and looks forward to weekly visits with the party as a whole, and Saskia in particular.  Now and then you both might spend some time together away from the party as a whole to hang out.

Chapter One

Zander is hoping to scrounge up enough coin to buy a riding horse.  He will actually volunteer for assignments, be they whispers or non-whispers in quest for horse-buying coin to add to his share of whatever herb money they made.

When not off doing military things, he will irregularly pop in on Chloe or Kristi.  The former because the temple is so close at hand inside the fort.  The later because he wants to wisk his childhood friend out of her overpopulated hovel.  This plan is stymied by living in the barracks his-own-self.  Instead he slips extra coin Kristi's way here and there, which doesn't exactly help the horse fund.  Any wonder Zander's plans don't tend to pan out?

Then there are the meet-ups with most or all of his friends at the inn one weekend night a week.  Those are the best.  His friends are the best, and he lets them know it.  Also he gets drunk and makes passes at them.

Lastly, and of least consequence, Zander wants to dress up as Jack Skellington for Halloween (and maybe again for Xmas).  Victoria will be relieved that this year's costume includes a shirt.

Chapter One

Zander gets a few assignments to scout out the badlands.  Mostly to keep tabs on the Black Bloods, and report back on anything worth noting.  So far there have only been the normal band of raiders that come over the border from time to time to try and pillage some homesteads on the border.  On one or two occassions, Clotilde is allowed to go with you on a mission or two for back up when the mission feels particularly dangerous but so far its been rather quiet.

Zander is the sort that lives hand to mouth and the horse fund for the most part stays static.  His income is modest, which covers his living needs and indulges in his lifestyle which is fine.

Kristi would actually do okay with spending time with Zander since he actually has some... innate talent for spell singing which is different from the innate spell craft she knows.. yet similiar in that they dont need to study to work their magics... it's just that his seems to be of the arcane sort, while hers is the divine sort.  That aside, Kristi seems to be learning some sort of asian fighting style which Zander might sort of dig.  Pretty girls are always cool, a pretty one that could knock him flat on his back was a different level of cool.  She's still a little rough around the edges but she has the potential to be capable, that aside she's a redhead, you can't go wrong with redheads?

At the start of Chapter Two you can come dressed as... Jack Skellington... (who is that?)

Chapter One

It's a lot of work to keep your toes in two different worlds; but Saskia seemed up to the task.  She'd have loved to stay full time in Misty Valley, but she simply couldn't ignore the rest of the world.  The Emerald Isle and family beckoned: duties, lessons, and chores all to be fulfilled for House Morrigan.  The six months sees her travelling almost one third of the time, while another third is spent in her family's manse at Laytown, and the remaining third in Northshire.

While in Northshire, Saskia would stay with her uncle - when not stealing away sometimes with Clotilde and the others.  An arrangement which she enjoyed and which seemed all right with her uncle.  During the day, she offered her services to work with any of the local healers.  Though she couldn't truly apprentice with any of them, she was now trained in the healing arts enough to be able to assist them when she was around.  And Saskia was eager to learn and help where she could.

And though she regretted missing All Hallow's Eve with her friends in Misty Valley, there was nothing quite like the celebration on the Isle: the fires and rituals (along with the drinking and the party games) were unique and just had to partake of them.

Chapter One

Clotilde was thankful for the lodging, but Heska was bored. The impressed memories of the Valkyrie were not happy being idle, and Heska pushed Clotilde to take assignments that would take her out in the field, whether it be escorting a priest to a mission, or pilgrims to their destination, or simply keeping temple caravans warded, it didn't matter to the valkyrie, she wanted some sort of action. Clotilde for her part was a little down about Saskia's lengthy absences, and was grateful for the time that they were able to spend together. It was much harder the second time around. Having been apart for the year that they were, and to reunite was glorious, and everything she'd hoped for, but the sudden parting after the joyous reunion was a bit hard to take. Still, she didn't complain. She knew what she'd signed up for, and she counted her blessings after what she'd been through, there was no point in being sour about it.

Her days when not out on a mission or assignment involved training with her weapons, and meditation, although the impatient Clotilde was not a particularly good example for meditation and prayer, and Heska's influence on her made that even less so. Still, she tried to present herself to be a good follower, and did what was asked to the best of her abilities. The best assignments were the ones where she got to use a combination of her sneaky skills, and her blade skills.
