On the day appointed for Mittens to meet up with Haalima, she gives her a call to see if there's anything preventing her from showing up at the rendezvous place she picked.

((OOC: Leaving it up to Haalima's player to pick a place and time of day she'd want to meet with Mits. ))

"Oh, hi Mittens!" Haalima held the phone to her ear with one hand while the other finished wiping off her kitchen counter. "No, no problem at all. Come on over whenever you want. I have my place all clean. See you soon!"

She hung up and wrapped a bandanna around the top of her head, allowing her ears to stick out. After a quick run around the apartment she paid for with her inheritance from her mother (which, she had calculated, should last for six months or so. Long enough for her to find a job, she hoped) to dust and straighten up the bathroom she was satisfied with the cleanliness of her place. She removed the bandanna and went to get changed in to something more shiny.

"Sweet!" she says, "Be there with bells on!"

"Hey there, hot stuff!" she says with a big smile and wave, looking waaay up at Haalima when she answers the door, "Hope you like sweets!"

She jiggles the bag in her hand, adjusting the strap of her backpack with the other hand.

Haalima couldn't help but giggle at Mittens. "You weren't kidding, you are here with bells on! Nice shirt." The dancer loved anything that jingled, so she couldn't help but look down at the bells around the cat's ankles. They looked nice, she would have to find out where she got them.

"Sweets? The bane of my existence but OH do I love them. Come on in." She moved aside so Mittens could come in to the one bedroom apartment.

"Thanks!" Mits answers Haalima's shirt compliment cheerfully, "I know a little ballet, so... yeah, heh.  Dance cat humor."

She jingle-shuffles inside demi-pointe with a wink to Haalima then drinks in the decor of the apartment.

"Love-bane to you and me both!" she says swinging the candy bag about with the handle loop hooked on her upturned fingertip, "So we'll be each other's conscious and not eat too much.  Nice place!  Nice outfit!  You happen to have any videos of your proudest dancing moments?"
