On the day appointed for Mittens to meet up with Cell, she gives him a call to see if there's anything preventing him from showing up at the rendezvous place he picked.

Cell picks up his cell phone (ooc: lol wow..) when Mittens gives him a call. Sitting in the local burger place a few blocks down close to the police station he sits and slurps at his milkshake.

"Hi dere" Cell says to mittens in the phone

"I'm ready to meet ya at the burger joint whenever you are available I have been her for a few hours already just relaxing and watching the local ya-hoos and doing some of this boring homework I got from class"

Cell sighs, he was never to fond of public schools it bored him. He missed his grandfather teaching him but that is all part of life that one has to deal with. He turns his attention up to the counter  he sees a customer begin to yell and scream at the poor cute girl with silky blonde hair  that was at the register because she accidentally over charged him for his meal.

"Gosh people annoy me sometimes" Cell says out loud as he waits for Mittens to respond."

"Meet ya there in two shakes of a cat's tail," Mittens answers Cell, "Outside preferred.  Too noisy inside."

Before long she arrives and makes with the greetings and handshakes.  She's wearing her martial arts gi and yellow belt.  The logo for her Jiu Jitsu school is stamped below her left shoulder.

"People annoy you?" Mittens asks with a curious smile, "Care to be more specific?  Was that just in regards to the local yahoos or did you mean that in a broader sense?"

Cell checks out mittens in you uniform, "I see your a person of many talents". Cell takes his phone out of his pocket to see if he had any other miss calls or messages from his parents and then looks back to mittens.

"Gah... its just people they make me mad. For instance I was just sitting in there and this person was yelling at cashier over accidentally messing up his order and that type of thing. Come on now... and you know what else that really grinds my gears.... Mutant haters. You have all all these other minorities, African Americans, Latinos, Asian, etc, that at least gets some rights and recognition but what about us "Special" ones.... absolutely nothing except hatred discrimination.....grrrrrrrr"

"Annnnnnywayz, didn't mean to throw a tantrum" Cell chuckles

"How are you Mitts, What's going on"

"Many interests anyway," Mittens answers modestly with a smile, "And yes, customers suck.  Whole websites on that topic.  As for mutant haters and Civil Rights, the excuse usually given is that mutations are too random to be considered an actual race under existing legal protections.  Some are trying to qualify mutation as a disability to get special considerations that way, but..."

She does a quick roundhouse kick with a nice slap of her hand to her foot!

"I don't consider myself disabled.  If you'll excuse my tantrum...  So in the interest of making the world a better place... Did you get your parents signatures on your app like I asked?"

Cell looks down to the ground and looks back at mittens

"Not yet, my father is away for the month for a business, and my moms been practically living at the hospital. I've been living on my own for the last couple of days but its Ok, I'm a big boy I can handle my self, I'm used to all of this bs"

Cell looks to mittens and just smiles.

Mittens nods knowingly.  "My little bro practically lives at a hospital too.  St. John's on Ashford Ave to be specific.  At least most of the time.  Inanycase, any time you're bored with an empty house, feel free to give us a call, and maybe we could play a bit on our game system or whatever you're in the mood for."

She scribbles down the household phone number and offers it to Cell.

"Just please don't share that number with anyone or my parents will flip out.  If you want, I can have my bro get your form signed.  We'll just need to know your Mom's name and what hospital she works at.  You've at least mentioned to your parents that you want to join the Citizen Patrol, right?  What'd they think?  Proud of you?  Scared for you?  Neither?  Both?"

Mittens returns his cute smile with a smile of her own.
