Scene 1.6: Epilogue
For a moment, time stands still.

Then, in a flash of energy, all of the students that were, a moment-lifetime ago in Europe, are back in the physics lab.

Minotaur is turning around, about to grab for Geri, but he stops in his tracks. Petrov half-faints and slumps into his chair.

Lady Liberty immediately looks to the students, "Is everyone all right?"

Re: Scene 1.6: Epilogue
Joseph, who had been outside the physics room on his way back to biology, collapsed into the physics room face first. Still, he was conscious, just weak in the legs for a few seconds there. When Lady Liberty asked her question, Joseph lifted his arm, flashing a thumbs up.

Aki was relatively unphased by the sudden shift in her location.  She turned to Minotaur.  "Such a strange class.  I wasn't expecting time travel the first day."

Re: Scene 1.6: Epilogue
Elise twisted in midair, landing on her feet easily without even thinking about it.  Her eyes went slightly wide as she realized who was addressing them.

"Ummmm, I think we're basically okay?"  She looked sheepish.  "I mean, no one's injured more than a little.  I mean, no one on our side.  But then everyone who isn't is sixty-seven years ago so I guess worrying about them's kinda silly.  Um."

Re: Scene 1.6: Epilogue
"Yeah, I'm okay." Riel said.  But she wasn't.  Her expression was withdrawn, contemplative. She was likely having trouble assimilating everything.

What bothered her most was that she had sacrificed her pendant.  She could almost feel her father's disappointment.  She had discarded it so easily.  Because she had been so utterly afraid that the Nazi soldiers would identify her.  Even with the other students--her friends now.  She hadn't had the faith that they'd get through.

And then she remembered the fervent hope of one of the women in the circle.  Such powerful faith in those eyes.

Riel looked up at Lady Liberty.  She searched the heroine's expression for some sign of understanding.  "Was it..."  Riel seemed to be having difficulty formulating the words.  "Did you know?"

Re: Scene 1.6: Epilogue
Slowly, Lady Liberty walked to Riel and leaned in close to speak to her, her voice barely a whisper.

She then stepped back and shrugged, letting the words stand by themselves.

Minotaur still looked troubled, "Daedalus is probably going to want to talk to you all about this. Especially you, Petrov."

Peitor leaned in towards Geri, "I don't know what you did, but it seems to've worked."

To continue, if you guys want to RP-post here, that's fine. The rest of the day will go 'uneventfully', and we're back to me making whatever spaces you guys want to RP in for a couple of 'RL' days. Then we'll get back to the mayhem.

Elise nervously approached the head of security.  "Mr. Minotaur?  You're really strong, right?"  She twiddled her fingers absently.  "Umm, I guess you're probably really busy what with all the weird things happening and I don't want to be a bother but, um, could we talk sometime soonish maybe?"

Re: Scene 1.6: Epilogue
Aki had little else to say.  She knew so little of the modern world.  She checked the time, and wondered if she had to go to her next class.

Karl passes by the room, sketchpad cradled in one arm with his backpack slapping at his back as he walks. While his other hand holds a charcoal pencil he is currently using his thumb to smudge the paper as he steps passed the door way. He stopped at the sight of Lady Liberty, froze in the doorway looking in.

Geri whispers back, "I don't know what I did, either, but yeah, looks like it did."

Then, more loudly, to the whole room. "So, physics class is canceled then?"

Re: Scene 1.6: Epilogue
Tinman's sensors slightly overloaded his actual senses during the trip. The computer kept trying to analyze the energy around them and found it very difficult to scan. "Ummm...so...did we screw up history? Let me check..." He proceeds to check the history files just in case.
