Currently accepting applications to fill crew positions aboard LAZE Reliant. You need not own a copy of Ashen Stars, but should at least peruse the Wikipedia summary of Gumshoe's mechanics and the outlines of the Seven Peoples. Pre-generated characters from the published Dead Rock Seven adventure arc are available, summaries of which are linked to under The Cast menu. Hawk, Revenant, and Volith have backgrounds and story-arcs which overlap, and are best used together; Dare, Fairfax, and Zaren are largely independent of the others and easily swapped for characters of the players' own creation. Please include all the following:

• A ranking of the pre-generated characters from most to least interest to you, or a comparable summary of an original character.
  Feel free to exclude characters who completely disinterest you from your ranking. Original character summaries need not be more than a couple hundred words in length. The backgrounds of the pre-generated characters are your best guideline in terms of length.
• A brief writing sample, in third-person past tense, involving the character which interests you most.
  Again, this need not be more than a couple hundred words in length. It should contain action and dialogue, impart a sense of how you plan to portray the character, and display your own narrative talents. Show me how well you'll entertain and interact as a player.
• A capsule biography of yourself.
  Personal details are unnecessary, should that make you uncomfortable. Focus mainly on your experience with on- and off-line roleplaying, favorite games, familiarity with the various Gumshoe games, that sort of thing. I don't expect anything beyond what you'll find in my own RPOL profile.
