Tel'adrel flew forward as far as he could before flourishing his cape and fading from Earl's view.

Next thing the wizard knew, the sorcerer assassin was hovering in the air nearby as two swords of force hovered near Earl. Tel'adrel used the scroll in hand but nothing happened... Instead of a gust of wind issuing forth, Earl's orange bubble popped.

The swords sliced into the decaying wizard, cutting deep into his mind and animating force, removing his most potent magical spells from his arsenal.

(two spells of up to 7th level are stolen from your memory. I think the best way to do this is as follows: If you have 5 spells of 7th level, roll 1d5 twice. I'm stealing the spells in the order you have them listed from left to right based on the dice rolls. If you run out of 7th I have no problem burning up 6th).

No post warning to Earl

OOC: Before posting, I just want to make sure you can sneak attack with a Mage's sword, isn't it consider as a summon ?

I was wondering this because I don't think Knowledge Devotion works with it...

Any spell with an attack roll can be used for sneak attack or knowledge devotion. Spells like spiritual weapon and mage's sword utilize the caster's abilities to attack. So it is the caster's attack roll in my mind. Not finding anything to the contrary.

OOC: Also, I just realize that if you didn't cast your Mage's Swords
on this turn, you need to use standard actions to direct them to me as I
wasn't visible when you previously cast them.

They were cast this turn, though you couldn't see or sense them being cast.

OOC: I have spellcaster's bane on and can roll spellcraft checks to identify what happen.

Also, you must be in range to avoid using standard actions for the swords, is that the case ?

Sorry to be picky, but it must be clear to avoid mystakes... :)

The effect that allowed me to cast the spells and move to where I am without you being aware was not a spell. There was no effect to witness either, so Earl wouldn't have any way to identify what happened, even if he had psicraft or if Spellcaster's bane worked on the ability.

OOC: Last question: did you cast both Mage's Swords when you were seeing Earl and when you were in reach for the spell ?
