As he mentioned, I am aware of his location because he moved before casting the spell, so I can charge him just fine. He would've had concealment, but that doesn't really matter because the dice roller gods hate me. :P And sorry for swearing, I'm just especially irritated lately, and not just because the dice roller has it out for me.

Well, unfortunately, you can't charge something you don't have line of sight to. Because you can't actually see me at the start of your turn, you can't charge me, regardless of if you know my space or not.

Fortunately, that means you can redo your entire turn and hopefully get some better rolls.

Well, so it is! I always forget that little clause. It's caused some... difficulties before, so I don't know how I forgot it. Well, I'll wait for Antaeus to resolve that Trip attempt before taking my turn, as it will likely affect my actions.

Might I ask, what the heck is an astral construct? Can you manifest it that far away from you, and can it move in the same round it is created? How much 'movement' does it have?

It seems you Created this Astral creature THIS round. Is that a full round action? If so, you cannot have it charge, and you cannot attack Riven either.

If, however, your action was legit, Antaeus falls from the Trip maneuver. What is it, an astral wolf??

It's explained in the power itself. It acts immediately on Melvin's turn.

According to the damage posted, 1d6+10 indicates a 4th-level construct, whose Slam attack is only +10 to attack. Where did the +12 come from? Charge?

Also, you can only make it manifest in M19 if your psi class is level 6. Is it?

... It is literally Psionic Summon Monster. Like, mechanically, that's what it is. One round casting time, spell finishes immediately before the caster's next turn, monster acts with the caster. Keyword: with. He still takes his turn. And what is this about 'an ectoplasmic shape'? Nothing in the power description says that, nor implies it. He begins manifesting on his turn, right before his next turn, an astral construct pops into place within the spell's range, and acts on his turn. Now, I was well aware that he was manifesting Astral Construct, because it's the only power with a one round manifesting time I'm aware of, and because he used it in a different match. I'm also a metagaming bastard. :P (I have ranks in Psicraft though, I just didn't bother rolling because it would slow the game down.) All of this psionic based stuff you've been asking about is on the d20 srd, and is open game content. Research is your best friend. (Also, I'm sorry if my tone comes off as a little hostile, I've been doing character building all day, so I'm a little frazzled.)

Actually, I did research. Clicked the link to an explanation of Astral Construct. Unless you use Craft:Sculpting, it forms as an ectoplasmic blob in roughly humanoid shape. Now, a 4th-level construct requires a 7th-level 'caster' doesn't it? I thought we were all lvl 6.

Melvin is a Wilder. He has Wild Surge +2. I am going to stop debating this, and take my bloody turn now.

Sorry. So that means he had a Wild Surge, which increased his manifester level to 7. This allows him to manifest the construct in M19 AND allows him to bump it up to a level 4 construct for 7 PP, correct? Does he need to roll the enervation check this round, last round, or both?

Right. I know Ape's Fury gives you +2 STR, and Animal affinity boosts your stats. I know you get +10 damage from the charge. But unless you somehow got HUGE in size, I don't understand the 4d6 base damage. Are you using a greatsword and somehow doubling its damage?
