(the way the feat is worded implies complete destruction of the weapon that would have stricken me. Obviously, its only for however long the match lasts.)

This being his first fight against Jazal, Gideon opts for a somewhat cautious approach. With shield raised, he chooses his steps carefully as he moves forward. Once he finds himself within range, he reaches back with his sword and whips it forward. As he does so, a thin black line is drawn in the air and is launched at Jazal.
