His opponent, it would seem, was trying to keep the pillar between the two of them. Deciding to get a better vantage point, Gideon rushed the pillar. Instead of going around, he simply ran up the side and over to the edge where he could clearly see Ravenhill.

OOC: since i can;t see your rolls please remember to deduct the negative level penalties consecutively so if you fail the first roll you have the penalty for 2 negative levels on your second roll
