Solemnly entering the arena, her second silver skin shifting to cover her form, Riven pulls a small figurine from behind her back. Tossing it onto the ground in front of her and barking out a word in a harsh, ancient language, the figurine morphs into a regal, birdlike creature, sculpted out of bronze. Riven reaches out and touches the griffon, psionically linking them together.

The Griffon fights off the draining poison, but is significantly weakened by the lizard's attacks. Struggling mightily, it lands a vicious bite, as well as glancing blow with one of its talons.

Meanwhile Riven, watching the two monsters exchange blows with a studied eye, slowly wraps her hands around the handle of her sword, holding it in front of her. Translucent silver wings flare out of her back as she steps forwards and launches into the air, like a glowing silver arrow, impaling the lizard on her sword. The Griffon is mildly concerned, but decides that it's probably not the best to question his owner.

OOC: Wait, hold up, something went wrong here. My first round, the one where my Griffon charged and I used my dorje, got deleted. Then, my second post got moved to before the monster's second post, and was not recorded. The results of the first round are accounted for, and I'm guessing I killed it with the second round. I... don't really know what happened.
