Solemnly entering the arena, her second silver skin shifting to cover her form, Riven pulls a small figurine from behind her back. Tossing it onto the ground in front of her and barking out a word in a harsh, ancient language, the figurine morphs into a regal, birdlike creature, sculpted out of bronze. Riven reaches out and touches the griffon, psionically linking them together. She tosses a quick glare at her undead 'companion' but resolves to ignore him as much as possible.

Riven retrieves a slender rod of crystal and touches it to her temple, feeling its power flooding her body. She drops the rod, and makes a small adjustment in the direction of the defensive foe, confident he will show himself.

The griffon, however, is less patient. Zipping forwards at a breakneck pace, it rounds the corner that Thorn has taken cover behind and lands thunderously next to him, before attempting to crush the warrior with its vicious talons.

Thorn was eager to meet his foes and fastly reacts by negating the griffon's grab.

Then, seeing Ilithyia casting a spell on him, he manages to block the incomming acid arrow.

Finaly, he unleashes his assault on the griffon and badly kills it, now blocking the path with the beast's body for Johnny to charge him !

As Thorn savagely rips into the bronze beast, it shrieks loudly, before disintegrating into a cloud of fine bronze dust. The dust whirls around a central point, before abruptly snapping together into the shape of a small figurine, leaving Thorn completely open.

Riven takes a moment to align her mind with the natural world, as great translucent wings of force spread out behind her. Leaping forwards with a great bound, landing just behind Johnny, she hefts her blade and shoves it into the earth, channeling the energy of the arena ground into herself. As the Griffon dies and transforms back into a statuette, Thorn sighes.

He then receives the acid arrow and hisses at the mounted mage.

Seeing Johnny charges him, Thorn tries to dodge and contain his blows but is clearly overwhelm and finaly loudly falls surprise by the onslaught !

This was the first time he looses against gladiators !
