CR7 Nova vs. CR8 Yangash

The Plank

25 x 60, either gladiator at either side along the horizontal, in the middle along the vertical

fight type: "Best Of 7"

A player gets a single 48 and 24 hour notice for one of the matches before the entire thread is closed regardless of how many of the matches they've completed.

0 prep rounds, no buffs prior to the fight.

Each fight is separate, but the winner of the best of 7 gets the victory in the rankings.

Yangash enters the arena surprisingly without his armor on. His shield still floated by his side but he had forgon his heavy armor in favor of mobility.

Speaking of which, can you close the distance between us and still attack? Given the plank's design, I don't think it's fair for two nova-types to duel when only one can actually execute their nova in a single turn. Feel free to start within move distance.

Deciding to mix it up, Nova launched two massive fireballs.

In the interest of time, I'm going assume you die, since I'm pretty sure you don't have evasion and I'm pretty sure that even if you made both saves the damage would still kill you. Please let me know if I'm wrong.

Nah, i studied up on you before i did this challenge, so i know how your super magic works.
And yes, if only because I came in without my armor on, I can get over to you in one round and hit you

4 wins for Nova, 1 win for Yangash. I think that's best out of 7 unless we want to go the whole 7 and rack up more xp and gp. :P

I'll assume the statistical probability of 40d6 worth of fireball not being enough to kill you is within negligible bounds.

Sadly I have to adhere to best of 7. That said, I prefer the plank map just because there's so much less work for me to do, what with only opening/closing 1 thread instead of 7 :)
