Re: OCC Thread

Yikes!   Just noticed I resolved the last round in the combat thread rather than its proper place.  Fixed now.

I'd like to point out to everyone that you are getting the multiple opponent bonus when ganging up on the SSVs.  You haven't been adding it to your individual roles, which is good.  I'd prefer you don't, we don't know who gets what bonus until everyone has posted their combat move and thus indicated which enemy they are going after.  I apply it while resolving the round.

Last round, Aaron, Lance, and Buffybot got a +3 on their moves (which made a difference, otherwise Buffybot would have gotten hit).  Mike and Annabelle got a +2 bonus, but it didn't help this round since their defense rolls were less than stellar.

Re: OCC Thread

I hope that I did this right since Buffybot is on her back. So does the -4 prone come in on defense and attack? I can't recall...

Re: OCC Thread

Since your side has initiative this round, the first thing you can do is snap back to your feet, then attack and defend without the prone penalty.

The snap to your feet requires a dex plus acrobatics roll and two success levels, but since you have that even if you roll a 1, the roll isn't necessary.

Re: OCC Thread

Just a reminder to anyone packing a sword, that the SWAT armor doesn't protect against neck attacks, so a decapitation attack would do full damage.

Re: OCC Thread

Decision time for Mike and Buffybot.

You can either try to find your friends, or possibly escape Sunnydale.  The invisible forcefield is down and a police car with the keys in the ignition is right in front of you.

Damn. That's the second time recently that the dice roller has crapped out on me for a major roll. The other was in a Buffy game too.

Re: OCC Thread

That's right.  Mike's trying to sneak up on the two cops and nail them.

Need Lance to post his move, then I'm going to resolve both rounds at once.

Vamp beat cops are only a threat in numbers. I do my best to make sure their numbers approach 0 every chance I get.

Re: OCC Thread

Good thing I took care of the extras.

On the Turok vs. Police side, I'd expect the Turok Han to slaughter the beat cops and be slightly worse off then the elites, but it'll quickly be 4 Turok vs. 2 Elites.

Well...I was hoping to spend XP again before the boss fight, but...Boss Fight time!
