Annabelle cocks an eyebrow.  "Yes Michael.  Of course you could."she said in the most neutral tone she could muster.

"Are you going back to bed?"she says to Emilia.  "I'm not.  I'm too wound up to sleep and it's morning in London anyway. Let me change clothes and I'll see if the officers need any first aid."

Buffybot overhears the others and simply shook her head. She is consentrating on both officers condition. "Way to go Mike. But we need to get these officers to their rooms. I really don't like them napping on the floor. Annabelle how long will that circle last?"She begins to pick up the first officer and taking him to one of the rooms.

Emilia looked at Annabelle "Sweetie you will need to rest other wise you won't heal." She looked around everyone seemed a bit wired, "Want me to put the kettle on and make a cuppa for eveyrone?" She looked at the robot "Well except BBot."

Mike...didn't really need tea either. His own drink of preference...well, he didn't iike to talk about it. But...vampires COULD drink nonblood substances, like coffee and tea and such. There was just...normally almost no point to it. After all, vampires had no digestive system, being undead, and what they did to blood was more mystical in nature.

He decided not to comment, as it might make the girls more comfortable if he at least pretended to drink along with them.

"That's the grandest idea I've heard all day.   Yes thank you Emilia, I'll have mine with milk but no sugar. While you're doing that I'll tend to first-aid on the officers."

Just then Annabelle noticed the robot was talking to her. "The circle will last until the sevants come in and scrub it off. If you are referring to the magic spell effects, they have come and gone. If another batch of Turok-Hans show up, Emilia will have to cast it all over again."

"How do you like your tea Michael?  I know you can drink it even though you get no nutritional benefit."

Twenty minutes later, Emilia has made tea and Annabelle has performed first aid on the police officers, who have insisted they will maintain their posts until sunrise.

Everything is quiet for the moment.

Annabelle sits at the dining room table and takes a huge sip from her teacup.  She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.  "Aaaaahhhhh.  That is so soothing.  No wonder I've been out of sorts all day, I haven't had any tea until now. I am impressed Emilia.  Young ladies of our station don't usually make their own tea.

Buffybot GLARED that the cops. "Well if you made it thru the Turok Han raid and you are still standing. You want to keep going on guard duty then be my guest."Still she frowned at Annabelle's rather delayed answer. Buffybot didn't like it. After making sure that the cops were ok. The subject of tea came up. "I'll developed a taste of ice green tea. Hot tea and I make a bad combination. Well Em I hope your ready to recat that spell then. Are you sure that you have enough components? Hopefully Em would be a bit more responsive then Annabelle. Mike wasn't the only one that can 'pretend' after all.

Mike sipped the tea, even though it was useless to him. Mostly to 'maintain the illusion he was normal.' He wasn't, and never would be, but he could pretend, so to speak.

He was quiet, though, as if drinking mortal drink made him introspective...

Emilia turned and looked at Annabelle, "Sweetie despite what you might think we all know how to make tea, I've heard from Will's that Liz makes a fantastic cuppa, although she normally does it with lemon and no milk which isn't really my... Ahem Cup of tea." She said with a slight smile

She finished her tea and put the cup down "Going to get some shut eye before dawn let me know if we are attacked in the night."

"Well, that is surprsing.  My mum never made her own tea, and didn't expect me to make my own either.  Yet I had to learn that day the servants were all sick when she and my dad went out of town. I thought it was the same all over.Annabelle thinks to herself.

"Emilia, come back.  Ms. Bot asked you a question. Don't leave her in suspense."

She takes another sip of her tea. "What's on your mind Michael?  You're unusually quiet."

"Oh sorry robo sweetie," She said playing over what was said in her mind again having genuinely missed what the the robot said "Well got the blood there's some sand left would have to re-draw that circle thingy but yea we are pretty much ok for one more shot." She smiled "Sorry I'm just a little bit tired."

"Go hit the sack Emilia.  If there's trouble I'm sure you'll know it in the forms of either gunshots or screams.  Or both.  I'm wide awake, I'm going to stay up until sunrise."Annabelle says as she finishes off her tea, then pours herself yet another cup.

Emilia smiled and turned to the rest "Good night all, try to get some sleep or else you'll be useless tomorrow." She stretched languidly realizing that she was only wearing a Tee shirt and underwear she hoped she wouldn't be being too provocative.

Mike finally spoke up, and said, "I wonder if it's still possible to activate you, Annabelle. If there was a ritual done that activated most every Slayer on the planet, and at least some of them have died already...there must be something we can do for you."

He takes a moment to reflect on the irony of a vampire WANTING to activate a Slayer.

Annabelle waited until Emilia was out of earshot before answering, she hadn't brought up the subject of her crawling out of her own grave to the other British girl and wasn't going to start now."I supposed my being dead at the time the spell was cast caused a problem."she says sipping her tea.

"I concur, we need to look into that as soon as possible.  Getting our hands on a comprehensive occult book set would be a step in the right direction.  And having a well prepared Slayer in training inherit the power of the Slayer is far more useful then bestowing the power on some clueless git who doesn't know which end of the stake goes into the vampire.

"Sleep well Em......" Once she was out of sight Buffybot turns to face Annabelle and Mike. "Waking up every slayer at once might be probamatic. If it can be done magically....still I have the feeling that we are entirely on our own. But if you think that you can change that or even the odds more then be my guest. Buffybot was clearly miffed but attempted not to show it.

Mike shook his head.

"No. What I'm saying is, the awakening of every Slayer already happened...it was one of the last things Willow ever did before departing this world. The trick is to get the power in Annabelle, here...After all, in this world are hundreds, thousands, maybe even 10 thousand girls who suddenly got superpowers. At this point, what's one more?"

"Hmmmm.......Unless things changed a lot. We need a watcher or access the watcher council. Or some old human sage that can point us in the right direction for Annabelle's sake. Perhaps all of Sunnydale. This is getting a bit big even for me."Buffybot frowns a bit she was supposed to be a pillar. She did hope that she can hang on a little longer for everyone's sake.

"There is no more watcher's council"Annabelle said calmly, still sipping her tea.

"Agents of the First Evil blew up their headquarters in England while they were in session. Mr. Giles was the only watcher left that I know of, and now he's gone too. We'll be getting know help from that quarter.

More hours pass.  Now 5 am Sunnydale time.  Less than an hour before sunrise.

The cops are still awake and keeping watch in the living room.

No other attacks or strange goings on, all is quiet for now.

As sunrise approaches, Annabelle is sleeping on the couch(and snoring loudly) with the television still on.

She's found the cure for insomnia, American late night informercials.

Currently one is playing about a new improved vacuum cleaner.

Mike is still wide awake. He won't get tired until the sun actually breaks the horizon, then he'll have an urge to take a nice long nap (till sunset.)

One of the policeman sits up and looks out the window.

"Hey!  We've got another one of those freaky Noferatu type vampires heading our way!  Only one this time!"

Both cops rush out the front door and out on the front porch, pointing their pistols at one lone Turok-Han, now at the sidewalk about to advance down the front walkway.

Annabelle rushed out front to join the cops on the porch.  Only one Turok-Han.  Either they were lucky this time, or things weren't as easy as they seemed.

"Shoot it!!  Shoot it!!"she screamed at the officers.

Not that she expected the bullets to do anything.  She wanted the noise to wake up Emilia so she could get to work on the next spell casting.
