RTJ and important game info.

Before you RTJ, let me explain a bit about what I'm expecting (from you and myself) so that I have players who are on the same page.

Posting rate: I will likely be able to post 3+ times per week. It is difficult which days, exactly, that will happen. I have an odd work schedule. Combine that with the fact that my girlfriend is likely to "kidnap" me after work without any real warning (I would apologize for that, but I hope you guys are understanding if that happens). Basically, I may be able to update multiple times in a day or I may only be able to update three times in a week.

Setting and tone: I will be using the Freedom City setting as a skeleton (not everything in the book is in this particular storyline) and general guideline for this game. The initial tone of the game will be much like the world we live in now (not the worst of our modern day). Basically, if you were Batman, you would NOT be the Dark Knight but you wouldn't be comical like the Adam West Batman, either. Eventually, the setting/tone will change and you may have the chance to change to a different character if you really want, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Rating: This game is rated Mature.

quote:
Mature games are games which have (as some minor portion of them) mature themes, strong language, drug use, and/or extensive violence.  Mature games use the Mature Content flag to warn potential readers that some of the game material may be considered offensive.  Despite this flag, Mature Games must remain suitable to all ages

Like I said, it will start off with somewhat the tone of a PG movie and will, eventually, shift into Mature. Should you decide that you want to take it further, we will put it to a vote with all the players (it must be 100% in favor to change the rating) and I will ask for verifications of age at that point.

Truthfully, I would prefer that it did not turn into a Adult game, but if all the players want to (and are eligible for such a game) then I will do so when appropriate.

RTJ: Please answer the following questions in your RTJ.

    What is your character name?

What is your character's "superhero name"?

How did your character come to be a part of the Freedom League?

Your character is called to respond to a bank robbery (picture the classic guys with  guns type of robbery). How does he/she approach a solution? (I'm not asking for a full roleplaying sample here. I'm more looking for an example of the character's skillset / powers / approach to problem solving)

If you have an "arch enemy" or at least someone you hate the most (whether or not they even know who you are yet), who is it and why? (if you do not have knowledge of the villains in Freedom City, it is OK. This question is not mandatory for those who don't have the resources to answer. If you are unable to provide an answer, I will help you find a suitable enemy.
