Yes and No. He plays Sathras in this game and Esmarelle's player is Shadow Seeking the Light. Both have unfortunately been swallowed by RL which is why those two PCs (and Murron) will be remaining at the ghast's tower too injured to continue on for now.

As another piece of news we have another player, Arc, whose name you may recognize. That gives us the same amount of PCs as the original team so I will be closing recruiting. I will be working on the big wrap up/intro post over the weekend and will be giving Padaran, Batrac, and Arc information of their own about what they have experienced of this phenomenon.

Looks like a lot of us are filtering back through.  I play Miralos in that game.

So just a little tweak to plans here. Padaran's player needs a bit of time to have life settle down enough so he can commit to the game, a few weeks. I don't want him to leave before he even got a chance to go so I am going to start slow with the wrap-up post then introduce the new characters with their information. From there I figure a bit of time in the IC thread exchanging info and getting to know each other with an aim of kicking off in early October. I am only looking for a couple posts a week so people don't feel overwhelmed with the game and RL (myself included) anyhow so I figure it works out. The game has been on extended hiatus for 2 years aside from OOC stuff so another few weeks won't be a big deal especially where there can be some character development and interactions in the interim.

I have been in touch with writermonk over RPG.net. He and his wife are definitely swamped with life but he said he is glad I am picking the game back up. He said to say hello to everyone and is glad that Arc and Batrac have joined the venture.

Just figured I would let you all know. :)

Just checking in to reassure people that this IS happening, just was a much busier weekend than I expected and I am on the last day of my workweek. I figure too since we really won't get going in earnest until October that a little delay in the wrap-up and into stuff won't be an issue. :)

OK so the wrap-up post is up. Not the best thing I ever wrote but it will have to suffice. Thanks to those who stuck around and again a welcome to the newcomers, both those who took over abandoned PCs and those who brought in new blood.

In regard to your OOC post Dii Ahnah there is no huge rush. Like I said I won't be looking to begin in earnest until October when Padaran is more available. I will also be looking at a more relaxed posting rate of about 2 posts per week on average. I just wanted to get the game back on its feet in the meantime.

So posts in for both threads. Hoping the longer-standing folks in the game will respond soonish....I am a little worried about Califax as he has not logged in since mid-September.

Just a note to the casters, I borrowed writermonk's rules for casting from written works in his game. They have been added to the RTJ/Character Creation/House Rules thread. So in a situation where time is not of the essence casting from your spellbook is not a bad idea; a bonus to the casting roll, no chance for spell penalty, and much decreased likelihood of a mishap.

So Califax hasn't logged in for a bit so I will NPC him for now. Burikan has posted but I still need posts from Aaban, Dii Ahnah, and Novo.

Please make Dii Annah an NPC for a week. I'd appreciate that. I am terribly busy, and can't find the time to think about the current situation in the game.

I went through and checked character sheets and the only person who bumped their earned xp up to 40 was Batrac. I went and adjusted everyone else's so people have some xp to play with, please take the time to do so if you choose (Batrac is already done...heh).
