"Up in the tree, some of the tops have been cut.  We need to have someone check it out." She was still rubbing her eye, her vision was starting to return.

10:36, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 21 using 1d100.  TDDR.

His percent for Climbing Walls is <=55 success.

I don't know what his percent is for avoiding being grasped by the invisible adolescent roc.

Oh the clever 1/2 ling you know Rocs do not fly, they roll :)

Bruga makes it up the tree to where he sees huge claw and shredding of branches and the trunk where obviously something big landed and parted the top of the tree.

Bruga, as if impelled by some omnipotent being, giggles.* He recovers, descends, and tells what he's observed.

With here eye sight returning to her, Sila held up a hand to help shield her eyes from the direct sunlight. She was able to start making out some of damage done to the tree top.  "Clawing would indicate that some sort of bird or creature with claws, by the shear size that your describing Bruga, the thing would be really large."

She looked down around the base of the tree, "Something that large would have made lots of noise breaking branches, we should have felt or seen the rustling of branches and wind.  Yet we did not notice either for some unexplainable reason"  Sila looked around for any remaining belongs of Clair's "Perhaps there may be a way of tracking Clair"

"Compared to Bruga, even a chicken is a large bird." The paladin joked. "Perhaps those marks were made before we set our camp? I believe Sila is quite right. The breaking of branches would surly wake at least some of us up. I can't imagine Clair would simply take off on her own without telling someone where she went. There could be some other foul magic behind all this, i wonder."

Reaching the rest,Kree calls up to Bruga,

are the branches still damp from a fresh break? look for sign of scales....fur...or feathers...if it did that to the tree...The tree would have struck back,,..

Then the elf looks around the tree talking as much to himself as the others, scale would most like fall..fur and feathers would be caught up in the branches....

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 95):

Breaks are ragged, yes somethign big was in the tree.

No scales, feathers or dropping by the tree or camp.

Clair and Snare foot prints seem to be in one spot most of the night - the usualy for a night watch.

No other unusual tracks/signs/disturbance that you can see.

If everyone would like they can roll another D100 for that last check around camp :)

Senuviel looks rather pensive. His mind work overtime to try to fathom what has gone on of Claire and Snare. He then observes the tree one last time as he talks to Kree: It could have happened to any of us, Kree, don't put the blame on you. We've been through worse, friend and Claire and Snare are more than able to take care of themselves while we search for them.

"It's not anyones fault but the thing that did this Kree," Sam responds. "Anyone figured out what way it went? Assuming it took her. Any chance she would have just chased after something she saw?" Sam takes one more glance around the camp and surrounding area hoping third times a charm.

12:04, Today: Sam Steelstrong rolled 45 using 1d100
