Re: Route from Lotan to Cabain

About halfway through the night whoever is on the 3rd watch will note that the snoring from the wagon has ceased and that Astar is gone.

Re: Route from Lotan to Cabain

No one saw him go, he was asleep on the front of the wagon in the "bench" so to speak one moment. Bruga would of noticed the lack of snoring and walking over to investigate would find the bench empty. He did not leave the wagon that Bruga saw.

Re: Route from Lotan to Cabain

Bruga considers whether he should wake anybody, but decides against it. Astar is an elf and may have just gone to relieve himself or do something private. If Astar isn't back soon, however, Bruga will think agian. He also considers whether Astar would be up to something like robbing his own cart...well, anything's possible.

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg #34):

Who would be on each watch just so we know, I know it is a little late to decide but I saw Kree take first who has 2nd and Bruga 3rd.  Clair can take 4th watch if we have 4 watches.  We have Nickoli and Seniviel if they want to take a watch.  Clair did not need to cast any spells so she can watch tonight.  Say Nickoli 2nd watch??.  Seniviel with Clair or Bruga?

OOC What is the deep watch Kree? 3rd?  OK, I need a group watch then:

1st - Kree
2nd - Nickoli
3rd - Bruga n Kree
4th - Clair n Senuviuel

Senuviel = float or take last with Clair??
Nickolia = 2nd watch OK with you?

In reply to Senuviel Alantir (msg #38):

OOC - OK, either this or the other

1st - Senuviuel & Kree
2nd - Nickoli
3rd - Bruga n Kree
4th - Clair

Deep watch for me was the late night into early morning when most humaniods run free.
OR
If your deep watch is the last watch and that is the DM choice then switch with Clair.

1st - Senuviuel & Kree
2nd - Nickoli
3rd - Bruga n Clair
4th - Kree

DM watch times is it 2 or 3 hrs a shift or is it our call and how long we want to rest??

Sorry confused but we should get this correct for the adventure posting to commence.

(Sorry guys for lack of posting, posting rates better now)

Nicki would take the front of the wagon with a gleefull expression. To him, it only made sense that the Paladin be put up front. The dinner was filling, Niki helping clean up and wash dishes as the situation would allow him to do so. Pleasant conversation was easy to come by, but Nikioli felt that their boss was not totally upfront with what they are doing.

Sleep was fitful for Nicki, he wasnt totally used to the forest and the noises that came from within. Dropping off into sleep finally after his watch, he was already into the better part of his dreams, totally oblivious as to what was going on around him.

The remainder of Bruga's watch will pass uneventfully, but even at the end of the 2 hours there has been no change. Astar is still not with the wagon.

In reply to GM (msg #42):

Bruga, what happen to Astar?  Did he say he was going anywhere?  Where was he last, still snoring on the wagon??

Gosh, that wagon had some, i do not know, human or humanoid sounds emit within it every now n then. Do you think he left us, what about if he got sucked into that wagon some how, yulch, I rode right there with him.

What do we do?  I am not sure Lady luck has much for me right now that I could use to help us out.
OOC - have the same spells since I did not need to reload.

Kree  stirs  and  begins to walk about, he  moves to the  wagon  and  shouts  for the wagooner to appear, as he does, he draws his dirk, using the pommel to bang on the side of  the wagon...very..very loudly.

Re: Route from Lotan to Cabain

After about fifteen minutes, Bruga wakes the others and tells them what he knows of Astar's disappearance.
---
Well, it could be...unless he could become invisible. He sure didn't want us getting into the wagon. I don't think it'd be any use to go off looking for him, so our choices would seem to be to go on or to go back. We can take the problem to the Mayor of Cabain.

The  elf  continues  to knock on the wagon,  Check under this thing  for trap doors  and such...If the owner is gone..then this  wagon is ours by salvage  rights...and  we have the right to know what is inside...

If you do not  wish me to take this thing apart, you best show yourself! the elf  says  the last sentnece  a bit  loudetr...still banging on the box to see if there is any response.

Re: Route from Lotan to Cabain

A full search of the wagon will reveal no secret doors or entries.Banging on the wagon will only ring hollow inside as if the thing is now empty. An arrow enters the camp from the north just barely missing Kree's foot.

Surprise Round!

Roll initiative (check ooc)

Senuviel readies his bow, his keen elven eyes scrutinize the forest as he lays his back against the wagon in order not to be surrounded.

Re: Route from Lotan to Cabain

[Private to Nickoli Grundecci: Giving you an initiative of 5 post actions when you can]

Round 1

Clair calls upon her diety and every one feels blessed in the light of Tymora, just as 3 more arrows enter the camp from 3 different directions. One nicks Clair seconds to late to stop her prayer (for 1). The second hits and sticks into krees boots (doing 0). The third catches the creeping crouching Bruga in the side finding a gap in his armor somehow (for 3!). Kree now spots 3 goblins with rudementary bows, noticing that the arrows are crude, but having seen the hit on Bruga he knows they are still able to hurt.

Actions now for Round 2 (you only learned at the end of round 1 where these guys are) You may now attack the three goblins you see.

[Private to Bruga Honeyfinder: While 3 points is not deadly by any means it sure does hurt (being that you only had 6 hp) You may wish to seek attention for healing rather then continuing your sneaking (they rolled a 20, 3 points is their max damage lol)]

Ouch, lucky shot, it is time to teach these Goblins a thing or two, I'll get that one over there pointing to it, Clair pulls out her shield and Hammer and attacks one of the goblins closets to her side (the one she pointed to).

OOC attack roll with damage:
22:50, Today: Clair Brandywhine rolled 2 using 1d4+1. hammer damage (2-5).
22:49, Today: Clair Brandywhine rolled 21 using 1d20+1. Attack .
