Khorden stays with the main group, the rock to which the others could anchor themselves should it come to a fight. His sword hilt looks almost small in his over-sized hands and the scowl on his face is, at least, an improvement over the blank inward introspection that had haunted his eyes of late.
He continues to glance at the gypsy skeletons, "Something about them just don't seem right." he mutters, not considering that the idea of a bunch of skeletons going about camp activities in the style of gypsy's would not seem right under any circumstances.
So Bruga, loaded sling in hand, goes on ahead—trying to look like he knows what he is doing...stopping to listen, sniffing the air, looking all around. He follows what may be a path if there's something that looks like such.
For the rest of the day the party has no luck finding skeltons they finally find a large enough island to set the hut on for the night just as dark falls in the distance they can see the fire and hear the eerie music from the gypsy camp.
As they set up, Kree waits outside, watching the fire in the distance. Wondering how they were trapped into the mockery of life...and what would happen, should the salt like be broken.
Looks to Kree as he looks at the salt line - magic has many forms and power, crossing it could break the spell, ensnare us, make them see us as saviors or make them attack us as we look to be evil in some way. stretches then scratches Snare, We should set the wolverine watch again and see what morning brings.
Aye...but i know this, once tht lie is broken, the magic that if made will break..we do not know if that magic , is what made them..it may only contain them...
True as we are not the best possibly to handle the situation, but I will pray that Tymora guides me with good choices but either way, tomorrow we will see what game we are brought forth to play.
as he stands there with her, his eyes moving as if they had a mind of thier own,,,be nice to catch a rabbit,,and drop it over the line, to see what happens to it...
chuckling, maybe we could do that but night brings out the best of the dead and daylight drives them underground. The rabbit would be good for the morning I think. grins at Kree, pets Snare, maybe we try that in the morning.
Thanks, rabbit in the morning then. and heads inside with Snare and Kree. Finds her spot with Bruga. Tomorrow we shall see what game we play with salt, sounds and singers.
"Yeah, let's get these ingredients and go. The faster we do, the sooner we'll inform the authorities who can come do something for these poor folks." If the party wasn't going to send the gypsies to their rest, Gosric was itching to find someone who would.
In reply to Gosric the Full (msg #68):
Yea, we will wake up extra early and see what we can find, chuckles though I think Skeletons do not fear daylight.
Goseric, yup, since we not be able to help them right off, I was planning on getting some help from higher up :)
WEith a shrug the elf says,we can take back what we have found, report the gypsies, then come hunting for the rest...if those Gypsies are not true undead..thier bones will not aid us, but we can still aid them, should we choose...
Scratches her head, we have one vote for keep looking/getting the stuff and one to go report the gypsies and then go back for more stuff? Loks for others to chime in
As you wish, so shall I do Bruga says to the young female 1/2ling standing all of 38" high with Sandy brown hair, blue eyes, bright complexion, with a happy smiling face
gigles at Bruga then smiles and pets Snare then looks up to the rest of the group - i think we should continue looking for dem bones and might we cross a porcupine too since
we have the Live Toads (10) 1g and
we have the Live Newts (10) 1g but
we need the Bat Guano (4 pounds) 1g and
dem Bones of the Undead (10) 10g and
Hair from a dwarven baby (1) 10g and
Hair from a halfling childs foot (1) 10g plus get
Porcupine Quills (10) 1g and finally in town
Small glass rods (50) 2s
but we will make sure we do not cross the salt line (yet) Maybe, we can get the two sets of hair on our way back to town when we report about those gypsies if all goes well today
