Khorden stumps along to the rear of the group, a scowl on his face.  He didn't like boats, or the ocean, or harbours, or anything to do with large bodies of water.  if the others thought there'd be bats about then fine, but clearing vermin from warehouses wasn't going to earn him anything save jeers and cruel jokes.  But if this is what's needed, the the Dwarf would see it done.

Gostric chuckles at the joke, though he seems to pat Tum Tum with sympathy at the allegation that such a thing would work without some herbs, sauce and a good chef.

"Aye, I've eaten worse in my day, I tell you; but it's the catchin' of them that would worry me. Quick little beasties."

Stepping inside, he sniffs for the telltale acidic scent of guano, be it bird or bat.

Gosric 7
RATS 6
Clair 4

Now you guys have commented on this before, so i will reexplain

I use a higher init rather then a lower one first because i dont use casting time for spells. But second to me it has always made sense that the faster you are the quicker you should go.

Re: Docks: Warehouse 4-6

Bruga moved in front of Clair and manages to snick a rat in front of him, the rat merely snarls at him. Senuviel also manages a clean hit but it doesn't seem to do much against the rat he hits. Kree manages to place an arrow in the cieling before putting on into a rat.

Gosric whips his sling and a stone smacks a rat bloodying him but not killing

Rat 1 (Bruga hit it) tries to snap at bruga but misses
Rat 2 (Senuviel hit it) tries to snap at Senuviel and while it does bit him in the armor it doesn't get through.
Rat 3 (Kree's arrow is in this one) Charges after Kree, but can not also attack this round.

Rat 4 (Gosric's hit) Tries to go after Khorden but misses

Rat 5 Gangs up on Bruga (apparently he looks yummy) and manages to bite him for 1 point of damage.

Clair casts a spell and the rats begin to glow with the Faerie Fire

Even with the spells having happened Khorden manages to connect with nothing.

(ooc i will prepare for round 2 and add Gosric's actions for this round Keneally I do need your initiative)

The order stands

Bruga 12
Senuviel 10
Kree 8
Gosric 7
RATS 6
Clair 4
Khorden 2

Will add Keneally into the order for round 2.

Bruga manages to snick the same rat again tho he draws blood the rat merely snarls at him.

Senuviel manages to kill a piece of the wood flooring but not a rat.

Kree fires two shots one finds its way into the same rat that came after him, it to is bleeding but seemingly more annoyed

Gosric slings off again smacking his same rat who seems confused as what to do now

RATS:

Rat 1 Brugas damaged this one misses the yummy looking Bruga
rat 2 Snaps at Senuviel doing no better hitting him then Senuviel did the other way
rat 3 Kree's rat with 2 arrows sticking out of it manages a might bite into Kree's leg a bone snapping sound can be heard through the ranks.

rat 4 Snaps at Khorden biting him for 2 hp

rat  5 Snaps at bruga finding his snack hard to get
Keneally: A human female charges into the fray to Kree's aid slashing the rat for 9 points of damage the rat collaspes (unconcious and bleeding out)

Clair misses her rat but gets a sense Kree will need her aid badly next round

Khorden swings angerly at the rat that has been after him the first slash cleanly removes an arm from the shoulder with his second hit he cleaves the rats head in two killing it.

Round 3:

Clair and Senuviel may both sense the need for their healing arts for Kree. Senuviel has the first action of the 2.

Here is where we stand

Rat 1 still kicking (down -4)
Rat 2 still kicking (down -3)
Rat 3 down and out (not dead)
rat 4 dead
rat 5 untouched

Please specify your targets (1,2,3 or 5) and actions for next round.

09:36, Today: Khorden Stonegrip rolled 5 using 1d20+3. Attack 1.   miss

Focusing on the beast before her, Keneally can't take the time to see what is going on with the others.  Feeling the sense of urgency, unsure that her own meager skills may or may not be needed for the fallen, she lowers her shield slightly to give herself the extra space to really arch her arm, adding some extra power to her sword's slash on the rat(number 5)

"I don't suppose there be a market for rat-bits?"

He glances down at the over-sized vermin.

"Worse to worse I know a temple that can clean these up, cook'em and feed'em to the beggars, I guess. Waste not, want not, I always say."

Turning to glance out across the expanse of the warehouse, Gostric grabs his mace, and carefully moves into the portions further away.

Once his effort is complete, he sags to the ground, takes a deep, deep breath, exhausted.

"Sadly, that is all of the holy favor a worthless wretch like me deserves today. A brief respite for food and wine, and I shall be serviceable in combat, but not worth much more, if not a little less."

That said, he digs thru his pack for an over sized turkey leg, some cranberry sauce, and a skin of wine.

"Mwannabayyte?" he inquires of Honeyfinder?

Rising to his feet, Gostric takes a deep breath, and addresses the rest.

"For one, these are clearly not 'were-rats', for my simple sling bullet did damage them. What they are, if they are anything other then over-sized rats, I do not know.
"Matter, the second, I have claimed these bodies, though the heads of course go the the harbor master. Despite the good life our friend-dwarf has had, there are people for whom these vermin will be as a feast, and a place that can prepare them for safe consumption.
"'Even the poorest among us deserve respect from the merchants they do business with'
" he states, apparently quoting from his scripture.

"From the third hand, remember, in cleaning out these rats, we have not only done away with creatures capable of stealing and eating not just babies, but toddlers and small children, but we have aided the owner of this place in their efforts to re-start their business of storing goods here safely.
Good has been done here, perhaps not as much as we hope to do once we figure out the matter of the Gypsies, but it has been a good five minutes of battle, and hardly worth looking down upon as a waste of time.
"

He releases a deep breath, and visible calms himself down.

She smiles at him and replies, "I would be honoured to help transport this meat to where it will be best used, neighbour.  You are wise and kind.  Good has decidedly been done here today." in clear agreement to the sentiment.

She watches the group wandering around all over the warehouse, checking over even where others had been before.  She raises an eyebrow curiously and asks rather nonchalantly, "Not having had the luxury of knowing what your missive here was at all, what is it that is hidden and to be retrieved for the harbourmaster?"

Keneally looks a long moment at Clair, quite expecting her to conclude her description of their missive with a guffaw or chuckle.  Her statement and her next query seemed so disjunct as to cause the Crusader to wince. How would bat excrement save slaves and harm slavers? she wondered.

"Well met m'lady, Kree and Senuviel. I would be agreeable to taking lead with our stalwart neighbour, of course.  Kree, an interesting notion.  One I confess would not have occured to me, but I do not spend much time in dark shadows. Any gleening as to these hidden entrances?

Two warehouses should not be too arduous.  I should be surprised to find many more of those creatures.  Quite an oddity, I should think.  Aren't they?

"Kree, it took two of us to save your leg. From a rat. If we run into nothing worse then this, you might lose you leg altogether. As a hunter, you above all should be aware that the unprepared hunter is a fool.
That said, I did not say I would go along, I said that if we opted to rest up, I would make an effort to feed the poor.
"

He turns to face Clair, clearly disappointed with her comments.

"I, for one wish more of our little group shared the good sense, and kind heart of our newest companion. I find it in poor taste that you make fun of my efforts, as slight as they are, but even more-so at the fact that you would do so after Keneally has shown similar interest.
"I am used to being the butt of your jokes, but this new warrior and champion for our cause deserves more respect.
"

Turning to face the Paladin, he bows low, in deep respect.

"Well met, champion of the Light. Much as my god respects yours, I respect the calling you have undertaken. It is not an easy burden; I hope that joining our little band might lighten it a bit.
"As to the greater good, and slavers, and gypsies, we move forward, but we must take baby steps.
"Our current task is to collect random bits of oddness for Osk, whom you already know. This is no take of legend, I agree, but the most important efforts, be they in business, or in life, are best served if built on a firm foundation.
"At this point, we are but errand boys and girl. But given the change, we shall be formidable, oh yes we shall.
"If we don't kill each other first.
"

A rumbly chuckle fills the room.

He turns to the face them all.

"The rat meat is mine. Whomever wants the heads may take them first, for if I decapitate the bodies with my hammer you might be paid less but whatever your plan, please do it quickly.
"If the consensus is move on, what little I have to offer will be at your side, however I must vote for caution. There is no compelling reason to hurry our current task; as the Book of Three teaches, haste makes waste. And waste is a sin.

A search of the entire warehouse reveals no more then what you have already found, you find no trapdoors, secret doors, or anything outside of the growing smell of death, the small rats have already started swarming the bodies of the giant ones the party managed to find a sack large enough to carry the heads in before this happened. But the bodies of the giant rats will be gone before to long, ah the circle of life. :)

In reply to GM (msg #104):

OOC - so the rats are eating the dead large rat bodies before we can haul them out for Goseric??

Smiles at Bruga, something I should know about? M'lady, chuckles

Turns and sighs while shrugging her shoulders, Keneally, we have been slowly gaining strength to thwart slave trade between this town and Londeren (sp) and as we go we keep stumbling on other pieces of a larger puzzle hence our finding of the gypsies in a magical field trapped to look like "skeletal" forms or maybe not trapped?  A firedrake protecting something besides his lair, and now these rats. looks at her directly, If you wish to stay and help long term and can stand our "mismatched" but overall friendly and balanced group we aim to deal with the evils we have found and any we have yet too find.  But Stopping the slavers is our long term goal, however we end up getting it done.

looks to Goseric Goseric, fear not, we may at times draw from different ways of life but in the end, we are a group and we stick together and you may jest at me all you like as I am prone to that onto others, in fun, just my way.  <\Blue>Turns to the dead rats <Blue>it is the luck of the draw in help with those less fortunate.  Your actions are admirable but <\Blue>spreads her hands out to show the rats enveloping and eating up the dead rats bodies <Blue>before we can deal with them as you like, mother nature has taken her meal first.  She will help to shoo the rats away if that is what the group wants.

Nothing, not a trap door or loose board and no bat poop.  Man, we must press on, Kree you took a good hit but Goseric was able to heal you up.  Another battle like the last one and we will have to finish this later.

Good thought if Keneally wants point with Khorden, then you two can feather and spell our adversaries to a weakened state.

"As you like, but the offer stands should you like to change your mind." the Crusader replied before giving a loud two-toned whistle. A large silver dapple horse comes to stand in the doorway, ears pricked toward the Crusader, his reigns carefully rested over the pomnel of the saddle allowing his head full movement.

"Well, come on then Argento, I'm sure there have been horses aplenty in this building. Unless, of course, you are frightened..." she jested with the beast, who snorted and shook his head as if he understood her words, walking toward her calmly, ears flicking back and forth as he looked over the others.

Lady Keneally, just so I'm clear in my mind. Mistress Clair has told you some of what we're about. Our eventual goal. it seems, it to aid some of the enslaved...though exactly what is not yet clear to all of us. In any case, we try as best we may to improve ourselves and help each other while doping good or at least avoiding evil acts. I think and hope you are at liberty to join with us, to add the power of your arm, the quickness of your mind, and the stoutness of your heart to this group...which rather resembles a bedraggled posy of wildflowers.

Oh, and we should deliver these heads before anything else. [Nothing like an abrupt shift of gear]

Re: Docks: Warehouse 4-6

"Would your horse mind carrying some of this meat," Gostric asks of the Paladin. The cleric was elbow deep in gore, but he was making quick work of the rats, skinning, gutting and to some degree de-boning them with some skill, after (hopefully) borrowing a large dagger or a short sword from one of the others.

"I think we have over a hundred pounds, and if I can get some extra bags, it would be appreciated."

His typical, wide grin seems oddly out of place in his current task, but for some people, doing good is it's own reward.

"Gah, that was a mess. The local rats will enloy themselves however. Give my a few moments to dunk myself in the water off the edge of one of these docks, and I'll be ready to go."

Hopefully the entire process takes no more then fifteen to twenty minutes. Less, if he gets help.

OOC - my apologies on the gender gaffe. Please blame me, and not Gosric, no disrespect was intended by either of us. Thank you friend-dwarf, for the correction.

She sombres and answers the heart of his query truthfully, "A Crusader is sworn to aid the meek with preserverence and strength before all else. If your purpose is noble and good, surely the Gods will forgive your missteps upon your journey.  I must honour the Laws of the land so long as they are Just beneath the gaze of the Sun Father and cannot aid in the breaking of those laws." She looks at each in turn to see if any objects to that truth.

She turns to Gosric with a smirk and whispers, "Argento would not be best pleased if he knew what was in that bag, but I suggest we not tell him.  He loves to show off his ability to carry heavy loads otherwise."

Re: Docks: Warehouse 4-6

Pleased with the assistance, Gostric shares a few tricks of the trade with Bruga.

"It's like this, grab the hind leg, sharp edge of the knife down the pull on the leg, and slide the knife up the the collar bone."

He manages to the feat without too much difficulty.

"Now, grab the hide here and here..." he says, grabbing right below the sternum.

"...and turn it inside out quick-like.
"See how the offal spills right out! A bit smelly, but quicker then when I goofed it up, and my Da made me clean out a deer with the metal brush.
And less foul to the old sniffer.
"

He twists the organs, and finds a dark disc of organ meat.

"Slice out the liver, it's very good. But leave the rest, it's not worth the effort right now. Now, put the bones-side down..." he places the rat down, and sticks the knife in the shoulder socket. A quick thrust with his knee, once, twice three times, "...and the ribs come right out. Finish hacking off the leg; stringy and only worth while if you're starving, then you're done. Eezee-peezee..."

Turning to face Keneally, he gives a wink and a nod to say he understands. Horses can be proud critters, but most of the time they deserve it, in this case, without doubt.

"Theevies he says. Nasty lot in a fight. Not sure I don't prefer the rats..."

If it is close to the edge of the water, he will try to peer over the corner to see if there is any sign of an entry under water.

"Might be worth a quick duckin' to see. I kin see how smugglers might like a sub-aquatic entrance..."

If nothing is found, he assembles with the others, and prepares a sling bullet for battle.

"If it be that slavers be our chosen foes, then we needs must keep an eye on this place. Given time, mayhaps we ken put in a secret door of our own, for visit'n. Not hard to suspect they may return someday."

Kicking gently at a cage, he causes a faint resonant echo.

Would it be a blessing, or a curse this time? Or would it be both?

Once again Bruga attempts to use his skills. Through his mind come a rhyme about sek and find:

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away...

When I came home last night at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn’t see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don’t you come back any more!
Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door... (slam!)

Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away

Bruga shades his head, shrugs his shoulders, and gestures with his arms out even as he says We're being watched from the roof of the warehouse we left, and I've found a secret door with a magical glyph...don't know what. We can leave and choose to return later maybe unobserved or do something about the door and expect company...or news of what we're doing anyway.  Whichever, act like I've reported nothing and move toward the outside door. This last is uncharacteristic, for Bruga is not one to give orders.

As he listens to the sound of the dart hitting Gosric, Senuviel turns and moves his eyes to find the shooter. The elven warrior/mage pulls the cord of his bow and shoots the stranger.

10:46, Today: Senuviel Alantir rolled 9 using 1d20. To hit with short bow. Second shot.

Senuviel moves fast but is unable to find the target. Guessing the direction the elf shoots the arrow loose in the air. Cursing in elvish he then says to his comrades.

Take cover clerics! He then shows Kree the direction the dart came from. Let's finish this fellow, aye! The elf's warrior manners take precedence as Senuviel continue to shout some words in order to organize a defensive position. Bruga, if you have a missile weapon now's the time to use it, otherwise stay in the shadows and cover our backs. Khorden and Kennealy cover us and the clerics in case we're approached through melee. We have to break the ambush as soon as possible.

While hearing the others discuss strategy, his eyes bug out in panic.

"Be ye all mad? We can't be setting a warehouse on fire, that's against the law! Not that I don't stray on occasion, but not even approaching this magnitude; we could burn down half the city."

Struggling to his feet, Gostric staggers, and grabs a wall to steady himself.

"I insist, we must retreat, and return when we have planed, and built up our resources."

If/when anyone points out that Bruga may be in there, he will suggest this is even a better reason not to burn down the building.

Re: Docks: Warehouse 4-6

Or..... Says Senuviel in a tone as if he had just had a bright idea.

We could go guerrilla tactics. We fix our base of operations in this warehouse or in the other one. We could fake we're leaving the warehouses behind and return in secret, and then replenish our stock of spells, sharp our blades and operate late at night, as ghosts. Then, if we manage to figure out what's going on and who's behind this scheme, we can start some subtle sabotage in order to expose the schemers publicly or at least make them lose some time and money so they would end up fighting each other specially if they're slavers. There's no room for incompetence and lack of attention and secrecy when you deal with slaves. The stakes are too high because very powerful and influent names are normally engaged in such a horrible business.

The warrior/wizard makes a brief pause and then continues.

They'd think we've left our Bruga behind and we could take some advantage of this situation if he's really under the arms of the enemy. I bet the little halfling is able to take care of himself, and having a spy in the enemy territory is a brutal advantage.

Senuviel finally stands up and speaks as if he's carefully choosing his words.

What do you think? BUt this course of action needs to be planned carefully and executed perfectly. It will demand a lot of our energy and will also confront some high ideals. The elf glances from Gosric to Keneally and Clair. But, if we're successful, the enemy will suffer great losses. What do you think of this?

Saying this, Senuviel seats back on the floor pensively.

Eyes wide with shock, mouth open with astonishment the cleric nods throughout the mages speech.

"Praise the many and the few, at last a sane voice! I was beginning to fear I had died and gone to the profit-free discount bin in the basement."

Still woozy from the darts affect, he slumps back down to the ground, but with a grin in his face.

"The man speaks common sense, though I would add a codicil, and suggest we attempt to complete a bit more of the mage's shopping list, then coming back when they think we have given up."

he turns to address the over eager Kree.

"Two or three days at most, fair enough?"

"Though I feel we should stay close to aid Bruga should he make an escape and need a distraction," he adds addressing the others again, "If he needs rescuing, honestly, I like the guy but I am not feeling suicidal right now."

Slumping down, he rubs his eyes again. "Now me and Tum-Tum need a little lie down time, we'll just listen with our eyes closed, proceed."

he makes a little go one motion with his hands, and twists his head a bit to stretch his neck.

Keneally stares at the warehouse, lost in thought, oblivious to the rest of the group.  Finally snapping out of it, she backs her way to where the group had retreated.  She smiles at the cleric, "Nice to see you have the constitution of a dwarf, Gosric!" *her smile drops* "OR they were just sending a message.  What did that magic do to our comrad?" she asks the group in general, unaware that her pre-occupation has had her miss many wild ideas by her companions.

OOC: Humble apologies - apparently RPoL didn't refresh when I came on.  I thought it strange there was no new messages since Sunday!

Clair looks to the group.  My first thought was to use this wagon to charge it into that wharehouse door over there to activate the magic but also maybe to smash the door open.  Thought about fighting fire with fire (OOC but reminded about some foolish Alignment thingy).  I know we are tired of dealing with these wharehouses and want Bruga back so, I think resting a night is good but I think also time is ticking for Bruga.  now how to open that door without getting zapped by the magic glyph.  Plus avoid more o there "warnings.  Battering ram?".

Kree, senuveil, can either of you get on the roof from inside?

Keneally nods at the cleric and comments to Kree as he passes to head to the warehouse, "Perhaps, Kree, just perhaps, your group aren't the only ones who have encountered slavers and had it leave a bad taste in their mouth.  The people in that warehouse might be just as inclined to think that some one creeping about their business is evil...especially considering their last 'neighbours' were certainly suspect."

She watches him leave and adds to the others, "I think wisdom would dictate that unless he finds anything definitively untoward that wont keep, that we find haven to rest up and recoup our full strength."

Khroden grumbles at the thought of pulling back.  Gathering bat guano and running from drakes and avoiding battles wasn't the sort of reputation he was interested in building.  Still, he also didn't want to be known for abandoning his companions when there's lurking threats about, so he ground his teeth in frustration and covers the retreat.

When they find the rope, he is in full support of Kree checking it out.  "If twas a hole in th' ground, I'd be happy to go first but Dwarves make poor spides.  Have at it lad, if you're of a mind, and I'll take it kindly if ye find somethin' as be needin' a blade stuck in it."

Suicidal maniacs, human!? You owe us your life. If it wasn't for those maniacs here, you'd be digging salt somewhere else. The elf then swiftly shifts his eye to the paladin. And you lady, what do you know? You met us in the middle of our affair with some super sized rats, so I'll retell the story, alright? We are being paid to INVESTIGATE three ABANDONED warhouses! Three! Not one, not two, not four. Three! All abandoned according to the harbormaster! So, dear holy warrior, can you connect the dots? I don't think so, eh? You prefer to judge us mad instead of reason it, eh! So be it! Do it your own peaceful way. Senuviel then points towards the door. Take the cleric here who puts his brains into his belly and go there and have a nice, cordial, peaceful conversation with the guys who just SHOT us a few moments ago! Now if you excuse me. I have to cover the back of my MAD friends. The elf leaves with steady pace and goes to Clair at once. He then speaks almost in a whisper but in a very calm tone. Gostric shakes his head in despair. "We are not being paid to examine ANY warehouses, we requested permission to search them for bast shit. THAT is what we are being paid to do Son-u-Evil, so back off of the Sword of Pelor."

Gratefully accepting the Paladin's assistance, Gostric rises to his feet.

And in case you forgot, she was there when this mess started, when we decided to come here, when we ASKED the harbor master if we good dig around, and when it was made extremely clear that he didn't give a goblin's cheesy fart if we looked in any of them."

Still groggy, Gostric grabs his footman's mace, and gripped the handle firmly.

"For the life of my I can't understand whether you and the others are under the sway of the Gods of Madness, or if you have been chewing the Ochre Weed of Far'oum, but you are ALL acting insane.
"Kree cares not if we burn the city to ground, as long as we attack a warehouse full of people that have shown no sign of being evil, and more then insignificant proof of being well out of our league.
"Being a poor excuse for a wise man, I am clearly still the sanest of us here, Keneally being the lone exception. Using what scant wisdom I have been granted, I am going to find the city watch.
"Unless you all are ready to battle them as well, I suggest you find a place from which to watch the warehouse, then co-ordinate with them when they arrive."

Not waiting to listen tot he others, he glances at the Paladin in such a way as to convey the message that he hopes she chooses to join him, but either way, he heads back into town.

Falling in step with the Gosric, ready to offer herself as a human crutch, she pauses to speak to the others, "I told Osk I would assist you in his quest.  I grant he is eccentric, but this *she indicates the warehouse* is well outside what he would deem reasonable in search for what he needs.

The people in that warehouse have gone out of their way to keep you from it without taking life.  That does NOT sound like an earmark of evil to me and I will have no part of breaking into their space or battling them.

The city watch can come and discuss the fate of your lost companion, who, if the people within follow with their actions thusfar, is probably being held safely to keep him from interfering with them.  If the city watch is not interested in assisting, then I will return and do exactly what the elf suggests.  I will ASK them to return your friend.

Scratches her head, planning, talking, is that not what we do when deciding what to do.  They did not throw out any ideas until we started planning extreme stuff.  OK maybe fire was a bit extreme but WE know the way slavers work.  Calling us mad, no no no that is not how you treat your companions, maybe suggest things and encourage other avenues to peruse.

Sighs, OK Kree, it looks like they do not want anyone on the roof.   We are down to three of us.  Shall we wait for the city watch, go on and check the warehouse further, "knock" at the door and ask for Bruga back, return to the dock master who allowed us here?   I think maybe the dockmaster who sent us here?  though I think he is cohort with whomever is in that wharehouse.

Kree Looks at the Rope, he  is more then a  little angry at this.be a shame to waste  all this oil...I bet  a small fire  would sent this  whole building up....the watch  could put   it out before too much damage was done  to toehr structures.

As  he watches  the two 'straightlaced' folks move away he shakes his head,...they have to know, that  Tynmor's  odds favor the watch being bought and paid  for..aye? And...if the watch comes, we should be well, away from here when they come.Bruga  or no  Bruga..as i said, I am thinking Bruga has agenda all his own.

Pointing  at the retreating  'holy' folks he adds, gods or nod gods...one cannot trust someone,  who bails on thier  comrades...neither of them follow thier gods, in the way that it was meant. If youo question the actions  of everyone you see..you aid the evil....if the folk in the warehouses were gooldy folk..they would have warned us off..or have marked security. Not attack from the  dark..without warning... We are in deep..I will not say , that we  are not...but those fools  go forth and are calling the watch? A 3 year old Goblin has more sense then that..the only thing  that aid  Evil more , then an evil person...is a person who things they are...too good...

Looking at Clair he says,we leave...we get away from thr docks..we got our pay forthe Rats, we found no Bat stuffs...and Bruga is  either missing or  hiding...those tow....if they wish to do  any good at all in the world, will either have to find us, or go forth on thier owm...that is , of course, if there are enough  places to eat, for the portly one to travel very far...

OOC unless Khorden haas a different say we head out.

OOC - Not sure who has the keys to the wharehouses but

We have to plan what to say to the harbor master when we get there.  Shall it be,

A. "if no keys" The one with the keys was lost/disappeared at the door of wharehouse 6 and well, being attacked from a hidden foe as we decided what to do we retreated and two of our group went to get the watch while we came here to let you know and warn you of illegal activity since you said that one was empty/unused.  Further more, be forwarned we will do everything in our power to find and reclaim our missing comrade so any help from you would be a good thing.

B. "have keys" Return the keys and tell him that while trying to open wharehouse 6's door one of our comrades disappeared while opening it and well, being attacked from a hidden foe as we decided what to do we retreated and two of our group went to get the watch while we came here to let you know and warn you of illegal activity since you said that one was empty/unused.  Further more, be forwarned we will do everything in our power to find and reclaim our missing comrade so any help from you would be a good thing.

Or whatever you all decide is better.

Then visit Osk to tell him of this occurrence, major point being magic use the attack and Keneally running off with Goseric to get the watch, leaving us there to decide the fate of a comrade.  To hand back in his stuff and let him know we now have to find our missing comrade - ask for any help advice then go to a new place to rest up.

Please don't be alarmed, but you appeared like live skeletons to us. Have you ever seen passers-by and tried to communicate with them?'

19:52, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 9 using 2d6 with rolls of 6,3. Roll 8.
19:52, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 3 using 2d6 with rolls of 1,2. Roll 7.
19:52, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 5 using 2d6 with rolls of 2,3. Roll 6.
19:52, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 3 using 2d6 with rolls of 2,1. Roll 5.
19:51, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 9 using 2d6 with rolls of 6,3. Roll 4.
19:51, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 5 using 2d6 with rolls of 3,2. Roll 3.
19:51, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 8 using 2d6 with rolls of 4,4. Roll 2.
19:51, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 6 using 2d6 with rolls of 4,2. Roll 1.

A match, sort of. What does one make of that?
