The Castle is a grand structure although the party doesn't have much time to enjoy it as they are lead into the throne room.

The King a man the party has never seen is fiddling with an arrow, he watches the party approach and orders his men to stand down. He rises and walks forward "Your weapons please, on the floor before you."

Bruga bows and disencumbers himself.

Approaching behind the rest, but also under guard, come Gostric and the Paladin.

"Looks like the others got caught without our help. Guilt by association, I fear, is the order of the day" he mutters under his breath to Keneally with a shyte happens shrug.

At the sign of the king, Gostric bows with respect, then places his sling and mace on the ground.

Khorden is obviously not happy and he delays setting aside his weapons as long as he thinks he can get away with it.  But in the end, he opts to set down the sword, the war hammer and all four of his daggers.  He sets each down gently and remains near them, on the defensive given the way they had been approached by the kings men.

 The elf's eyes  study those in the room, he does not comply right away, But  as he sees his dwarven friend , lay his weapons down. Kree will lay  his  Bow, Blade  and Dirk down, and the two throwing daggers f from his boot.

  Watching the holy folk enter  the area  as well, he chuckles  slightly and shakes his head.

Once the characters have placed their weapons down, the king motion for them to a side area they did not see upon entering.

Please, take a seat.  There is a large round table with empty seats for all plus you see, three other seated, a man in full plate armor well worn but in great repair, another in leathers again used but in great shape with a feather in his cap and finally an older lady dressed in a fine velvet and silk robe.

The king sighs and allows for porters to serve wine and cheese to all before starting.

So, shall I go over the details as to why you are here or do I skip that and get right to the punch line.  chuckles.

The man in plate grunts, Just tell em what for so we can get going

The older lady, keenly looks the group over, I need a story from each of you, gets out ink, pen and parchment.  stares down at Bruga, the little one first.  Name, skills, age an identifying mark

The man in leathers shakes his head, Just cut off and ear and a piece of hair and get this over with, then stretches cracking his knuckles, I can do the ear part if you like and smiles.

Senuviel watches the scene in silence, his elvish eyes scrutinize the place, the people and the two holy warriors. The elf seems to be pondering about something.

  Kree looks  to Senuviel, then to the others. He says  nothing  as he  watches the goings on. When the fellow in leather speaks of  cutting of an ear, Kree gives  a  snort of contempt.
