In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 83):

OOC - Welcome back, Ihope your move went well.

Bruga - you see normal traffic as you circle the allyway.  you pass 5 houses then once on the main road you turn back toward the allyway.  Nothing is going on in the allyway.  5 houses on the right and 5 on the left.

Kree, that door is really really tough.  Or maybe it was dead bolted or you are just not having a good door busting day.   Please roll again :)

Senuviel, you definitely hear the sound of a crossbow being fired upstairs but strangely not at you.....

LOL. oh you kicked it good and you see that yes the door has a nice dead bolt system as the door buckles but does not break.  Your foot and leg are vibrating from the kick.

Senuviel startles! I heard a crossbow being fired upstairs, Kree. Whispers the warrior/mage in elvish. Where´s Bruga? Maybe someone´s trying to shoot at him from upstairs.

Kree, two arrows sail out of the dark room beyond the door you just kicked in.

One misses you cleanly the other almostt takes your ear off, but misses too.

Senuviel, you hear heavy armored foot steps above you one - like someone is in the roon above you on the 2nd floor.

Action?

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 92):

Kree moves into he room - straight back against the wall a figure catches your eye - of course you hear the twang of a bow string ....  Make your attack rolls as you are under fire that is unless you want to keep being target practice.

Senuviel, booted footsteps above you in the 2nd floor room - do you go up to investigate or help Kree out?

Re: So it starts a new

In reply to Clair Brandywhine (msg # 93):

OOC - Kree - you better hit and kill him because - sorry to say - the DM just rolled 2 20's for 8 hp damage.  Lucky I do not use special 20 rules on arrows (x2 dam).

Fair play is you each shot at each other but he was expecting you so his first shot went off before yours but you can make up the time and shoot your second shot because of your special bow before his 2nd shot.  Now you just have to hit.  No pressure :)

It is the old man by the way.

Um err Kree, your last post above did not say juke or rush anyone but that you had stepped into the room bow ready.

I would strongly take back the rushing at the fellow since you would get nailed by two arrows as you charged.

He fired as you walked in while you raised your bow.

Shot to kill or get pin cushioned ;)

Re: So it starts a new

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 98):

Kree, luckily you drop him before he gets off his second shot.  You do get hit with the first arrow for 2 HP dam.  The old man dies of his wounds.  This room has no other exit - it looks like it was a storage room as remains of flour and wheat lay about on the ground.

Bruga, you have hustled about 1/2 way down the wally way - i assume back to the first set of houses where you hope to find Kree and Senuviel.  As you pass house #5 you sense a chile like something unnatural or rather large passed over you casting a shadow of dread but you do not see any physical shadow as yo run along.  You will make it easily next round to the house you presumed the other two are in unless you wish to stop and see what is going on in #5??

Senuviel - just awaiting your actions and then I will continue with the next round.

OOC: sorry for the delay. I was away on the weekend visiting my mom and only returned yesterday and went straight to work.

Senuviel watches as Kree fights the hidden archer. Hearing the sound above him, the warrior/mage sheathes his swords as he recalls the words of a Sleep spell. Senuviel raises his shield as his other hand gets the necessary components for the spell. The elf waits - spell ready - for the armored man to show up at the stairs.

Re: So it starts a new

In reply to Senuviel Alantir (msg # 101):

Kree, the floor is littered with foot prints, marks like items were dragged about in and out.  old man has a dagger, bow and a couple of arrows left.   apouch with 5 cp and 1 sp.  Who ever he worked for did not pay well unless he left his stuff behind and only carried what he might need.   You do notice a quiver with a couple more arrows is hung on the wall behind the door and another hook where a bow would have been.

Roll d6 for me. Kree.

Senuviel, the heavy booted steps stop above you.  Nothing else goes non.  Though you hear then see Bruga run to the doorway from outside all out of breath with a look like death himself was chasing him or he is late for diner.

Actions.

After catching his breath, Bruga replies. I was trying to head the old man off if he went the way I guessed. Didn't see him. As a passed a house (#5 description), I felt a scarynesss.
