Re: The next day to the Gypsies camp

In reply to Maki (msg # 212):

With a moan and wimper, the Ogre falls as Maki and Kree strike true.

The 1/2 Orc Thief turns his wand on Yenchew and you hear a pop and Yenchew sails 70 yards back landing in a rumple of arms and legs just missing Gypsy's, wagons, horses and a burnt tent.  The 1/2 orc Thief chuckles looking at the wand, now that was better and turns to Bruga - Oh, you are a lucky one time to go and rubs a ring on his hand disappearing from sight.

Actions:

The Gypsy's ares till singing and chanting plus gathering the gear and it looks like breaking camp.

Yenchew is laying awkwardly on the ground about 70 yards away.  At the moment none of the Gypsy's have gone over to him though a few have looked his way.

Clair naturally rushes toward Yenchew - will get there in two rounds.
Snare continues to attack the 1/2 Orc Thief as he disappears.

Kree, you can fire two arrows at the disheartening 1/2 Orc Thief - just do not miss by a lot.

Maki and Senuviel???  The ogre is dead at you feet.

Bruga you can try to hit him again though you have a good idea Kree is trying to light em up

Re: The next day to the Gypsies camp

Bruga observes (perhaps) Kree's shots and drops (uninjured?) to the ground.

Thankfully, dirt washes off; embedded arrows are messier.

18:01, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 15 using 1d20. Avoid Arrows.

After he finishes his spell, Senuviel gets a deep breath and crouches on one of his knees as if he had lost his footing. The elf breathes heavily and looks startled.

"Is this the last of them?" Maki says, looking around slightly out of breath. "I don't mind a little excercise in the morning, but I prefer to do it without ogres and goblins."

Still with shield and mace in his hands, he rushes after Clair, to see how Yenchew is doing. "Where did you dissapear off to, yesterday?" He asks him, when he comes closer.

Re: The next day to the Gypsies camp

Senuviel gets to Kree. Any idea where the 1/2 orc might have gone? I tried to trace his magical energy to no avail, could only get sparks if energy in the area, that's all. And for some mysterious reason, casting the spell drained me out more than the usual. I wonder, what's wrong with this place.

The warrior/mage then inquires one of the gypsies. Uh..hello there. Who might be your leader? I wish to have a talk to him or her.

Seing that Clair already had her hands full, Maki lowered his mace and walked closer to the gypsies. "Is anyone else hurt and in need of a healing?"

He looked about. Although he could see many dirty and tired faces, he so no one seriously hurt.

Re: The next day to the Gypsies camp

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 229):

An older Gypsy man walks over to the group, my name is and smiles in surprise at Bruga - young fellow i recognize you, tis you break the spell?  shakes his head and Looking back o the group - Yes, well, something broke the spell.  The elders and I think it was a containment spell a very powerful one all of our powers could not break.

Thinks a moment Not sure who set us up trapped in here or when but ...

An older lady walks up interrupting him, finely dressed as a Gypsy women should be and calls out to the older man, it is time, we must be going, the sands are running low.

He looks to her then the group.   Time, I hoped to have more of it.   Looks to Yenchew, lad you are out of place here

Yenchew agrees

he continues That mean nasty fellow who got away, bet he had something to do with this  spreads his hands.  A simple device teleporting away.

He Sighs and looks at his Gypsy group almost ready to go wagons being loaded and horses being drawn together.

He points to the dead piled up, a lot more then you first expected, between20 - 30 bodies of varying races The dead will have to be properly disposed of by our customs so fret not there, we travel soon back to our home lands, we will take them with us.  some are our family departed and some are our enemies.

It looks like
points to Yenchew your path leads you along with a need to be take him back to his home before that other evil feller comes calling again for him plus I heard talk of a slaver trade starting up an I see your paths crossing the slavers again too.

He pauses and looks to the sky then back.    A vision, so soon?   yes, well I see a path you all shall take, at an intersection you shall wonder lost but time will help you.  beware the full moon.

The older lady calls again.   Sigh i must go. he points toward the swamp, your path awaits you, dare to take it, it is the hard road if one calls it a road. Then gives you all a warm thanks and good by as he has to get going on his path.
</DarkGreen> Oh one last thing </DarkGreen>

and gives each of you a small gem

Blue for Bruga
Green for Kree
Yellow for Clair
Red for Maki
Orange for Senuviel
Brown for Yenchew

looks to Snare, chuckles, you do not need one but take care of them and moves off

In reply to Maki (msg # 234):

Yenchew accepts his gem gathers his gear.

The weapons you could choose from are 2 Long swords, 7 Short Swrods, 3 clubs and 2 spears.  everything else the Gypsy's took from the Goblins, Orcs and Ogre.

Clair bids the Gypsy's good luck pets snare and prepares to leave - Best we be out of here in case that magic that held them turns back on.

Kree, Senuviel - lead on.

The Gypsy's bid you all goodby, you will have each two weeks of good travel rations and if wanted a quick fortune telling before everyone sets out.

Clair declines, My god is all i need to guide me, and luck is all that will be there for me but others may wish it. she chukles  No Snare is part of Tymora to so he has been lucky finding us so no fortune for him either.
