if you look at the maps thread, the one with the swamp gives you the best range - you all are heading due West from the edge of the swamps off the map.   sorry, no mapping skills yet.  But i'll try to get something some time for you all as you travel toward the forest.

  Kree  nods to Bruga,...we will approach the  Farm...thew rest of you  stick togther and Follow at a distance...if there be trouble there, You can either  come to our aid, or  escape...if  there would be somehting there  we cannot handle, Bruga and I will work  our  way back to the  last camp spot we had...

  He hefts his  Bow and Adds,should it be , but a simple  farmer, we  will ask  to be allowed to use thier  Barn and such....do not approach until we siganl you in...

Bruga rehearses looking like an honest hobo, willing to work for a meal and a night snuggled in the hay.

Maki shrugs. "Sounds ok to me. It beats standing in the rain."

Kree and Bruga moves toward the farm.

so far nothing happens, unusual like.   A horse neighs in a barn behind the house, a few chickens flock about - you hear a pig sequel some where.

they walk to the house.

kree and Bruga, the farm house is a simple single level dwelling, two windows on each side of the front door.  a wrap around porch from what you can see.  all in good repair.   Do you step on the steps to the porch to the door?  Walk around the house?  check for traps?  Yell out, run away?

No one has greeted you and no noise in the house.


The rest of the group sets and waits, they see nothing, no one running away or to the house or barn.

There are small fields of corn and wheat some fruit tress and a victory garden too.

 Kree Points to the other side of the House, He  walks up to the Steps, but  does not mount them. He calls Out.Hail The House!..Travelers seeking  some  place to rest!

as Kree hears the  Steps. He slowly brings up his bow, ready to use it.Hail!...I say....we are a traveling group. looking for shelter?..though he speaks, his eyes  focus  on where the   sound is coming from.

OOC DM opps, power outage at house, lost last post but here it is again.

You hear a step then a dragging sounds from inside like someone is dragging a leg as they walk or a sack or something, it sounds like it is coming closer to the door.

It stops soon after it started but no one has answered you.

Senuviel looks at Kree and Bruga, then shifts to a position where he can see them better.

Maki quietly waits with others, until there is any sign from Kree or Bruga.

  aye?...well...that will not be happening  , anytime soon..I do not hold hands with Halflings....and  My bow stays in my hands...I have not lived this long, being foolish....had  we been darker folk, we would have just rushed the house....and taken it for our  own...for the night , at least....but we are not  folk like that....

 he  takes a quick peek at the barn....most folks would insist on the barn...made the elf  wonder.....

You hear a slit shuffle from inside, now now little halfling, why the worried look, chuckle not like I have the plague or anything?  What is your worry sigh I have fresh bread, fresh vegetables from the garden out back and even some cool ale and a very sweat but dry bottle of wine too.  I have room for you two in the den, but my only price is you make me laugh for I have not laughed in a long time.

You think you hear maybe a duck or chicken from the barn or near by and maybe a horse neigh but the storm is getting closer and the wind is picking up and it is starting to rain now not drizzle.

From inside the house, Oh dear, that storm is getting worse, mind if you where a Bard this could be easily done and you would be out of this weather.

The group notices the storm has turned for the worse and is picking up steam as darker clouds are flowing in and it is now raining.

They're taking too long, let's see what's going on! Says the elf to the rest of the group as he starts moving towards Kree and Bruga. By the way, why the heck Kree hasn't sent you paladin? You'd make a better diplomat, eh.

Maki shrugs at Senuviel's question. "I guess you are right. Let's go closer and check it out. It's not like we can continue to hike in this rain."

  Kree frowns  at the clouds...there are more then  Just we two...as i have stated. We  will just settle in , at your barn. I will leave  coin there for you...on the morrow....

  He backs  away a bit,. his eyes   scan the  whole of the Building, to see if there  is anyone else. watching them.
