In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 687):

The bear reacts to the fire air whizzing past her.  She whirls and runs back into the trees, you notice two cubs follow her. She is heading for a dark section of trees.

Moving up to where Bruga  Is, Kree will mark the Path the Bear  has taken, so they might veer away from that path....He will check on the Little  fellow to see if he is still in one  piece.

"Wouldn't it be wiser if we traveled together. Or next time, Bruga you might end up as a bear snack." Maki says and smiles.

Re: On the road yet again

I might, or I might bring you early warning. When you're traveling in uncertain territory, even elves should know to let a halfling scout...especially when the halfling is, shall we say, experienced.

And Bruga is beyond sight or sound.

Bruga does, or doesn't, find a good palce to camp...say a dell with a stream near by, one where a small fire probably would be safe from unwanted eyes.

Re: On the road yet again

15:03, Today: Bruga Honeyfinder rolled 98 using 1d100. Watch Roll.

While the group is sitting around, Bruga is brooding (sad thinking, not sitting on eggs). Then he starts talking. You've heard my last name is Honeyfinder. It isn't; it's Tallburrow. When I was a child, I was better than the other children at climbing trees and such. I could get to where the bees hived. So I would get honey...and the stings too. My playmates were always happy to share the honey, and they paid me with compliments. This went on until I overheard one of them explain to a new kid how to get honey without stings: "Just praise that tall Bruga kid, our honey finder. He's been stung so many times, maybe it doesn't even bother him anymore."

That was the end of their free honey, and of my popularity...they had to pay. Not long after, I left. I took the name Honeyfinder to remind me.

Thanks for keeping me alive, more than once.

Kree Looks at Bruga and  smiles   slightly,Well....while your friends  are looking for  free Honey...you are  out here, helping people, who cannot help themselves...the Job?..is as thankless as climbing the tree you spoke of...the only thing  different?..you have the rest of us , climbing with you..."

Re: On the road yet again

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg # 702):

Smiling, Clair moves over to Bruga, Fair to say we all have stories about our past, but we are in the present and lady luck has brought use together - friendship is more than swiping some honey or taking a few stings for everyone.  It is about living the same moment in time as those close to you.  We all take the stings for each other and share the honey too.  Each of us is an integral part without each other we would not function.  We would never talk bad behind your back nor take advantage of you nor anyone else n this group.

Hoenyfinder or Tallfellow it matters not to us.   We may be trying today to stop slavery and tomorrow stop a war but we will never stop being friends.

Grins, so go climb a tree and get us some honey for I have lady lucks cures to ail your stings and chuckles. Gets up  Friends accept who you are no matter what so keep being Bruga and smiles.

We need some rest for tomorrow may be a busy day as we start to cross into the more wild part of this area.

Senuviel just keeps quiet, sitting by the fire. Well, I'll rest a little, wake me up at the time of my watch. With a stretch and a yawn, Senuviel lays down to his bedroll.

Having memorized all his spells and roped his bow, Senuviel stands up. Alright, moving on then. Who takes the rear this time, my friend? Senuviel asks his elf friend.

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg # 709):

the day turns out to be bright and sunny.  A soft breeze rustles the leaves and the birds chirp as you walk.

about mid day, the trees break as you come to a clearing in the trees around 1/2 to an acre in size.  Tall grass the height of wheat grows to the sum of 5'.  There is an obvious path where the grass was walked through buy all account at least 2 or more humanoids.
