Clair and Yenchew move off toward the barn awaiting the out come Clair calling back, If it is undead, we will take care of them.

A muffled voice from the barn, oh you will take care of them alright

Maki, Kree and Bruger step into the barn stopping at the first stall - Senuviel behind them.

In the first stall to the right is a bunch of ducks sitting there looking at you all silenlty.  there is a small flat bucket of food and a larger bucket filled with water and duck stuff :)

The stall to the left has chicken - hens to be exact. a bunch of them.  Though they move abotu they are not clucking and silent like the ducks.

  Kree's eyes look at the  animals, once more looking to the Loft, then says,..anyone have a spell to light this place up?

Senuviel, bow and arrow at ready, looks at the barn trying to figure out anything odd on the outside.

"I'm starting to think, someone in the house wants to make a fool of us. I can't detect any evil within the barn." Maki said, as he continues to slowly walk about the barn, and trying to determine if any evil is present.

Maki advances into the barn to the second set of stalls -  seeing an old mule that was munching on hey look up and stare in one stall and a Donkey in the other with his back turned to you.   

Bruga stares and sniffs about

Clair moves in to the barn entrance stopping by Bruga with Yenchew guarding the rear.

Now, with everyone on the barn, Senuviel changes to a position where he can see the barn and the house.

Senuviel positions himself outside the barn door just behind Clair and Yenchew bow out.

Maki continues to slowly check every foot of the barn for anything unusual.

As Kree makes to light a light source, Maki moves further into the barn's shadows.


Senuviel, you catch movement at he houses windows, like someone is watching you all.

Nothing else seems out of place, Maki sees horses, a cow, some fowls and a barn cat or three as he walks down the barn examining each stall.

Bruga is still intently looking at the ground.

  Kree  holds the Lantern Up,..the Voice  say anything esle?....we need shelter...and this is it...I have  large doubts about the framhouse...least ways..until i see what the voice  belongs too...

Senuviel says in elvish: We're being watched, Kree. The farmhouse, the windows.

Picture a horror movie when lightning flashes and something is standing in front of you.

A Large object was and may still be as unfortunately all your eyes are adjusting from the sudden flash of lightning while your ears ring from the rumble of thunder.

Yenchew and Clair seems to jump out of there skin and rush toward the Barn.

That bolt hit near by.

  Kree Holds the LAntern trying to get as Much view  as he is able.

Senuviel spits a curse in elvish while trying to adapt his vision again and aim with his bow. Damn! What's going on! What's this shadow!

Maki holds his shield tightly in front of him, while he waits as well for his vision to return. Even if it was just an animal, chances are the thunder spooked them also.

Bruga puts his back to the inside barn wall four feet from the doorway.

the groups vision comes back and before them (Maki it is next to you) is a large majestic Centaur, he looks over the group eying each of you in turn.

Welcome, I am Churt master of this Farm.  What brings you out on a night like this and why did you not heed the warning from the house.  This storm will be bad and being in this barn is not good for you all.

  Kree pusts the  Lantern down By his feet, the bow still in his hand, Looking harmless...we seek shelter , for the night. The Voice in the  house....was less then , reassuring. In mY  Lands,  using the BArn is  a normal think, sometimes, the  folks  leave coin to pay for the stay....

 ..according to the Voice? The barn  harbors  things  that threaten the well being of  folks  around here....and seems to  act up..when the storm comes?

 ..So..Tell me ..Master of the farm? Why have you, not taken care of this...Hmmm?

Maki relaxes slightly. He puts away his weapon and also the shield.

"Yeah who ever is in the house was being a bit... weird. They said undead are in here." He added.

Churt chuckles, yea undead would be a way of saying it.  to say it simple like, In my barn I house the castoffs of some common animals that when a storm passes at midnight they become uncommon.  Call me a collector of the oddity but well ...

Another bolt of lightning and a quick thunder rumble.  the rain is getting harder.

.. hhm, I think you all should seek shelter in the house before it gets bad out here.  Looking at the faces of the group, no worries about me in here nor the animals. just tell my wife, Able that I will be in before morning.

The rain starts to become a driving rain and more thunder and lightning light up the sky.

none of the animals react to the storm.

Unless otherwise noted, Senuviel has moved under the cover of the Barns eves where Clair, Snair and Yenchew are at.  Of course if you like to stay out in the rain evil chuckle just let me know.

  Kree looks at the fellow  as he picks up the lantern....and?...if  we would stay in the barn?

I could not protect you from what happens within here or what is drawn to here.  Not a curse but more like a mother nature hiccup.  Best to get to the house before it is too late.


You all do think he is serious and telling the truth.

FYI - I'll be away from the internet this weekend so my next post will be Monday so that will give you all time to choose your fate ;)
