Re: The Orc Leaders camp

Maki finally takes a deep breath, when he can move again.

"Man, those two orcs pulled our noses hard. I'm fine now." He said as he flexed a bit more. "As i said... i have good friends that i knew wouldn't abandon me. Someone alone might not have such luck, if he got paralized. He could get captured or even killed by a beast. Anyways.... we delayed long enough, and the rest was short, thanks to the nightly exercise we had. Let's get going again."

Re: The Orc Leaders camp

Several hours had passed before Maki was once again able to move.  Sila time studying the remnants of the spells and the remainder studying her own.

Once the group is ready to head out she gathers up her supplies and makes ready to travel. "So how exactly does this work, do we simple follow after them and wait for an opportunity to strike?  It usually helps me to plan my spells to best benefit the situation"

Senuviel circles around, the elf starts to feel wary but he won't let his companions down. The fighter/mage pushes himself using all the stamina he still has left and trusting his old family ring will keep him awake.

Maki shrugs "I think trouble usualy simply finds us more often then we find it." His look stopped on Bruga for a second. "So we kind of need to be prepaired for anything. But i guess it's easy for me to say so. All i need is my sword and a shield and i'm set."

Sila was not herself from her ordeal of being a captive of the slavers just a day before.  While the others searched or trails she founnd a place to sit, rest  and pour through her spell book.

Re: The Orc Leaders camp

Maki waits for the trackers to do their business. Being paralized didn't do much for his mood, so he'd see nothing rather, then for them to move on. He doesn't say anything though, as he knows that finding the slavers and stopping their business is all that matters.

In reply to Maki (msg # 90):

Oddly it is Clair who finds what appears to be a trail or path that had some warn dirt and a fresh heel print on the edges.

The group cannot fathom if it is the Orcs or not but a fresh track is better then none at all Yenchew says.

Bent on exacting some sort of ... impact on they hiope the slavers the group sets out again.

The path breaks at some point to be more of a game trail but Kree does find another few foot tracks of heavy humanoids running hard.

With fresh game on the minds of all, the group presses on.

Does the group press on into the night and risk a night encounter or even a bad place to set up camp  or stop and make camp in a better spot and be better prepared for the night?

Actions?

As they  Move  Kree's  eyes not the Sun  and begins to get angry ( more angry?).

slowing down  a Bit he says,...if  we press after them, they shoudl not have much time  to rest and study, or what ever it is you mage types   do....but...if  we do not catch them before night fall..we  may miss a break in the trail..or worse....

The question is?  do we press hard?..or  Look for a defensible spot  to wait out the night?

"We already lost a good night's sleep. I hate to break off persuit, but i think it would be much wiser, if we are rested up when we do meet them. They proved to be quite ... resorcefull." Maki states his oppinion.

In reply to Maki (msg # 93):

Clair states, they seem to be the upper echelon of the Orc race so I would think they have more ways to be prepared for us then we of them so maybe we heal up some and rest and recoup our spells to looking about, I think we out number them in spell casters plus our added fighting weight if they get back up.  So they may not strick us - yet they are Orcs.

As usual, Senuviel nods at Kree’s comment. Aye, let’s do this. And I also agree with Clair. They might be expecting us and setting up traps against us. We’ll need our full strength.

"Do any require healing" Sila will cast her healing spells to help any in need.

She agreed with Clair on the resting and healing up.  It was one thing when you had the element of surprise, but at the moment the group was forced into chase mode.

In reply to Sila Thorton Duskmantle (msg # 99):

Kree and Senuviel scout ahead and find a decent place to rest about 30 min further.

The group sets upi camp.

I'll need d20's from everyone as I assume you will be doing the full night sleep for those who need it (all the spell casters except Senuviel, he is rested and cheerful).

If nothing goes south on the D20's I'll call everyone healed up with the bunch of cures you have to use before you reset spells.

Please list your spells in the spell thread :)  and happy rolling may the odds be in your favor :)

Re: The Orc Leaders camp

Senuviel looks at Kree as he says: It seems a nice place for a nap, uh? the warrior/wizard then adds  as the rest of the group arrives: Get yourselves healed and rested, I'll be your watch tonight. Looks at Kree: This means you, too, Hunter. Take a full night of rest, we'll need your wits and quick thinking tomorrow.

Senuviel then helps the others set up camp and then takes some time to study his spells. He starts his watch as soon as the others fall asleep. The elf walks around the camp as silently as possible, keeping himself in the shadows so it is more difficult for others to spot him.

OOC: 01:51, Today: Senuviel Alantir rolled 7 using 1d20. Watch.
