Kree moves  a bit , looking around,Snare? You know that  Wolkf?...is...it a wolf?

 he  has his Bow in hand as he looks around, Just in case.

Bruga enjoys (or not) the view.

"I respect the dwarfs for their hard work." Maki said as he waited. "I don't mind the labor that much, but the lack of sun and fresh air." He shakes his head. "I don't think i would want to be a miner."

   kree snickers a bit,...we have   seen out share of dark places, but we always knew , we would not have to go back....this fellow goes there daily...

Sila will walk over to the hole and peer down into it.  She had never had a concern with dark places.  She looked and listened.

Sila, the wolf's hackles raise and the wolf gives you a very low growl of warning as you start to approach, teeth bared.


Do you still walk up to the pit and the wolf who is next to the pit guarding?

  Kree  watches Sila  and he calls  , gently his bow ready, just in case,..Easy Sila.... if they wanted us there, we would have been invited down. For good or Ill, we shall have to await her  return.

The wolf backs down and sets again at the entrance/hole.  Growls a bit  in a talkative way.

Snare sniffs the air then turns and circles Clair and sits back down, nervous.


Any other actions, Thelma is still down in the cave, you think you may her voices echoing back up.

Maki simply loiters about, making sure that if anyone comes to the pit, he would see them.

  Kree keeps a bit away from the main group setting himself  so he has a good line of fire , to the entrance  or  towards path they came, and tries to keep  watch at the tree line he is near.

Senuviel cover the other flank, the elf walks around the area, opposite to Kree and keeps an eye in the hole as well.

Some movement of the rope, it looks like someone is coming out - it has been about 30 min.

the Thelma's head then body climb out, yes the head is attached to the body :)

she pulls up a rope and a large sac is attached to it.

She looks out and see's you all, grins and turns to the Wolf and yips and yaps then shfts her body.  he wolf yips once then runs off into the woods.

snare you see almost jumps after the wolf but stops and sets back down next to clair.

thelma then carry's the heavy oad to you all.


OK, here is al lthe supplies I could fing that you all may need.

She unwraps the package.

You find 3 sets of climbing gear (pick axe, spikes, hammers, clamps ect. 4 100' ropes, 4 small tents that look built for cold weather.  a potion bottle for each of you - this potion will help you breath better in the thin air- it lasts 24 hrs.   she looks you over, those cloaks wil serve you well, now hats, gloves, boots and pants I do not have but in town, my brother may have some of those supplies.

She hands out the gear - you all decide who is carrying what.   then gives you a map, rough but shows a route to the mountain and a path up.



As you setle your gear, Theadore strolls in, and announces, we have guests at the farm, or we did, I lead them this way.  Two fellers, they called our names out, said uncle sent them.  then wanders to the hole, Can I go down???    Theadore no, your father is busy.  Go find Shereatornitch. she mus be restless after setting for so lone.   He grins and dahses off the way he wolf left.


Actions??

  Kree  will take a Coil of rope binding  it to his  pack, he  bends the  tent  around the top of the  Pack like troopers do, though  he seems less then pleased at this.

 He is securing the   Potion in his backpack as he hears  about the folks  coming.

   Looking to his friends he says,..let us wait to see what these fellows want of our host? This may be a chance to repay the hospitality....The Mountain will not be moving , anytime  soon.

Bruga, with thanks, takes a potion bottle. As for the rest; well, he's a little fellow after all.

"How can we repay for all this gear?" Maki asked, as he tried to stuff as much gear as he could carry into his backpack.
Dwarfs were usualy well off, since minig payed well, but still. He didn't like to feel, like he owed anyone.

Thelma chuckles, repay me, why then she thinks, I guess one could repay me if you run into a trapper make sure he is not trapping beaver in the spring, fox in the fall and wolves any time.  Plus, never cut down a tree until you ask your self if this tree deserves to be there.  she smiles, now yes back to the house and see who are new visitors are...

  The elf   shrugs and Nod s  as  we turns to head back the way they came, My people use   dead wood  for  fires and such, and fencing when it is needed,Our homes are fashioned  with Stone and  wood, but we are careful as to which trees we choose., Most Humans, do not have the same...how shall we say....'care'..when it comes to that?

 He  nods  his ehad in the direction of his comrades,We take Game, when it is needed, but never more then we can use.  the leavings are left for the creatures of the forst to share in  what bounty  the Sisters have granted to us , in  the hunt.

Among the Halflings, it's cut down one, plant two.

Senuviel silently walks beside Kree, the cosmopolitan elf is not much well versed in the ways of nature.

Sila simply said, "Thanks" to the offered supplies.  She took a potion and one of the small tents.

Thelma helps everyone pack up the new gear and then smiles at her son as he goes off.

i guess those visitors should be up yonder on the path heading our way so, and looks at you all, if it is two vs all of us, I have no worries.  Let's take our time and go back.   I'll send a scout to see where they are exactly.

Thelma, bends over and quietly chants and makes some odd noises.  you see a vole or mole pop up out of the ground a moment then disappear again.  This will take a few minutes but more reliable then a sparrow.

As Sila questions about visitors, you see two figures appear on the path heading back to the farm.  they are slowly walking toward the group.


thelma states, interesting, let's see what they have to say.  and smiles.

  Stepping off to the side of the path to wait, Kree looks at Thelma,...your  Lands Ma'am we shall follow your lead.

"Hi! How are you? My name is Rivlacar. Are you the owners of the farm that's a 40 or some minute walk down this trail?", he asks. These people don't exactly look like farmers.
