Finally, and I think I have this right, he mentioned, familial ties notwithstanding as pertains your husband Theodore, that outstanding monetary recompense persists, something about diamond from the rough?" he says with a puzzled look on his face. "Perhaps this letter will clarify?"

Rivlacar will produce the letter and offer it to Thelma. "We actually checked for you in your farm and, I'm sorry, we wondered a fair bit as we were concerned for your safety.I am curious where you are headed though that is a personal curiosity and not something your brother asked."

Senuviel keeps quiet and only glances at Kree through the corner of his eyes.

  Other then slightly narrowed eyes, Kree shows little in the way of  reaction, though his hand twitched on his bow, he Looks further up the trail from his spot, then shifts his Glance to Senuviel.

  This would not be the  first time .overly good' people have caused them problems.

Thelma takes the letter and reads it, smiles then grins and finaly sighs.

Well, well, well.   These two look real, if they carry this it vouches for them.

Orcs sre restless but under control.

Now these slavers, she looks again at the paper.  They seem to have moved North and up into the mountains.  hhmmm, somewhat what you guys - looks at Kree and the rest of the group - talked about.

she suddenly stoops down as a vole pops his head up out of the ground and the two seem to have a conversation.  The Vole then disapears into the ground.

Thelma stands up and looks about.  OK, Rivlacar and - she looks at Sam - Sam?  I have no need to answer this letter so you two can go as you will as I have more important matters to do.   She folds the letter up and turns to Kree and the group, You guys have all the gear you need I hope, if there is anything else where these two came from you can get.  My brother can help if he is in town.


Smiles, sorry I have to be a bad host but I must get back to my husband.

She turns and walks to the pit, looks over her shoulder and states, you guys, all of you, feel free to use the farm to rest up if you need to.  Help your self to the common areas but please stay out of the two side rooms.   Smiles and drops down into the pit.



Actions??  There are two groups here, please role play as you wish.  I do not necessarily need you all to be joined together  but, err, it may be best for all your survival .  just saying Thjis is your adventure's :)

  Kree looks at the New Folks   Well Met  I am Kree...Quickshadow... My fiends  and  I have been on a hunt, for an overly long time. We plan to head to the Mountains. The Good Lady, Thelma, as helped us with gear, and we are about to  leave...

 His Hand   motions back to  the others,..These are My trusted friends and Comrades...Semuviel....Maki....Sila..Bruga..Clair  and Snare......

 a crooked smile appears on his face as he adds,  we are hunting slavers....One who has  wronged us more then others, but we settle on killing  those we can find....out  methods  seem dark to some folks...but..the end result of ridding the realms of Slavers, bandits and thier like..is  all that is  of import...

 I say this, only because  we have  some..'..overly good' folks who have betrayed us in the past..we...do not take   well to  comrades who turn on us, for sake of mere belief. Those  we   defend, and avenge, see us as good... Those who fear our  wrath? May think us  dark... I prefer to think of us, as the Fire..that fights the fire....Now?...You know us?... Please  tell us about yourselves?

Senuviel bows respectfully but lets Kree do the talking.

Standing alongside but just back behind Rivlacar, an average sized human. Very young looking could not be more then a few years into adulthood and looks like he would have trouble just lifting his backpack. Dressed, for a lack of better words, `Pretty`. Dark purple vest and bracers with a red shirt and black pants. They look to be of better quality then most clothing. A rustyish sword, and some wooden instrument hanging around his neck. A backpack and a couple pelt pouches.

Listening to the talking, Sam seems to be in discomfort when talking about slavers.

After the introductions were finished as Sam acknowledged each name looking at them when introduced, Sam spoke "Sam." Politely in delivery but somewhat timid.

Bruga bows politely and goes back to looking around.

"Nicely said, Kree." Maki said. "We are indeed fire, but we fight against the darkness." He corrected his companion.

 The elf  smiles  slightly,indeed,  Good Maki...but fire, none-the-less...

Rivlacar frowns as he hears Kree's words. "Well, I believe in the rule of law and I would not want to ignore it. It sounds like you have different guiding principles. Can you maybe elaborate and explain a bit more about what happened that resulted in strife and divisiveness within your group?"

  The elf  chuckled,we set up hunting slavers, to cut down on thier numbers..we...I..set a fire  at a warehouse...one of the  holy warriors. thought we should be turned in for it..the other made no effort to stop the fool, or  stop the  slavers....as a result?  there is one less holy person..and alot more slavers...

 The  smile fell just a bit as he says,..you see...when you allow some folks of  evil leaning  to live...and they escape? and the only reason  you did so, is because of some foolish belief? Then You...and everyone who allowed it to happen, are responsible, for every life they take....every life they ruin...and every child who is short a parent... it falls on your shoulders..because you could have ended it...


 My friends  and I , who have started this  hunt?  We  were fooled by the one we hunt...we seeks to make amends , by making him a head shorter..We have lost alot of comrades along the way..whether they thought better of our quest..or whether their lives were cut short..but we  remain as steadfast as we were they day we left our village....

 ..I say this now, so there is  no misunderstanding.

Rivlacar nods. "I think I understand. In any event, I must get going to finish the job for which was hired," he says. He turns to Sam. "Both of us need not return. I can inform the lawman that I found Thelma, delivered the message and that she is fine. You can talk things out with the group if you want. I'm headed back."

With that, Rivlacar departs, heading back towards the farm.

  The  elf    shrugs, and turns to his comrades,..off to the mountains  then....let us see whay we were sent  down the path that we have chosen...

Bruga turns and sets off, explaining I usually scout ahead...when I'm not lurking behind.

Looking a the group then back to Rivlacar, "If they will have me, I would rather stay with them. Last thing I want is to go back anywhere near Graces Spot. I hope you don't mind." Turning to the group of well versed adventurers, "I can't offer that much, but if yall don't mind I would gladly join."

  Kree Looks at the Fellow,.... We are out to find and  Kill slavers...or  any other such folk  who lean towards the Dark. In the Mountains, it  is said we will find both. I ask only this? If you d not liek the  way we treat our  foes, that is fine...just...do not  interfer when we do.

 His  smike grows  and he says,..Other wsie..You are Well met, and  Welcome.... Bruga normally take the point ahead.... Senuviel and I take the Flanks, the rest  travel in a pack, as to keep our  company as safe as we may....we have lost folks, it is true, but only in the  worst of cases..or..betrayal.

Glad to have you...disperses the attention and helps our odds.

Senuviel nods in agreement to Kree's statement and adds: Welcome then. I hope we do get along well. More help always come in handy.

"I appreciate the welcome." Sam said looking around at his new companions. Holding the  instrument around his neck against his chest, "It's not much but I will do what I can to help." acknowledging kree, "Slavers have no place in the world, as long as you can live with what you have done I am not one to judge."

 Kree looks at Sam, and a Broad  Grin crosses his   face, he take a few Steps  BAck and  Offers him the   warriors  shake,..Again..WELL MET!  indeed!. As Far as Living  with  my actions? I have little problem with that, for i am haunted by the lack of action, that sent us down this road.

 His  smile s fades a bit,..when one tires to  bring  those of  the Dark to justice, most times, Jusitice  fails, and that person, persons , or thing, is able to go and kill, capture and harm again.....when that happens?..it is no longer  Just the crime of the  Dark person, but also , of those  that did not end them, when they had the chance...

 ..So With Tymora  and Bethsaba's  aid,  We try to make certain, there is never a 'second chance'...Those or the drak, know what they are doing..they know who they harm, even those who are...'forced'..to aid them, have made thier choice....and? I make  mine when we find them.

  Before we set off, what skills  do you bring to aid us? so we know how to work with each other in a fight?...and?...If you need equipment? Tell us now, the Good Lady said  we could take   some items from her farm, since the task we are setting upon, is  also of benefit to these folks as well...

While the others bantered with each other Sila found a suitable spot to take a seat in the shade and offer up a small prayer of thanks to,her goddess.  She found that she perfered the shade to the direct sunlight.  She would need to get a hat help shade her eyes.
