I liked Hamsters. had a bunch from say? 14-18..then after i got  married  we had  dozens, until the Kids   decided they didn';t like 'cage  cleaning day"

 My first one, I taught to come to me, to get a sunflower  seed, if  i whistled.. and when i had him out  running around , if he  went under soemthing  , I would whistle  and he would  come out   standing on his hind legs.... It also saved his life, because, at that time  This house had forced  air coal ( the flood  ended that).. and the good  ball went  down the  vent   and was  trapped between the Boiler and  the Jacket.... i rigged  a  habitrail  intersection , with  two  ends closed  and  some   fos inside..  lowered the    thing  down inside the  furnace  and whistled  a bunch..my dad  was mad, said he wasn't takiing the  furnace apart for a HAmster..

then?  Just like  fishing  i hear thumps  as the plastic hit the  metal  and the    line  felt heavy, i pulled thre   interestion up( 4 feet off the ground)..and there was the  Hamster, look out over the top , like a Tank commander.

 so? yeah? rodents  are smart if you take the  time to teach them..'cept Guiney   Pigs, never liked them., never had  one. and when the kids were small we only got hamsters, until they moved up the line to cats and dogs.

ok..putting this in all my games.

 This is  it,  Superbowl Eve.

 People have Thier Goal post up, decorated with    helmets   and  football ornaments . present  wrapped in team colors  under the post. Outside , people  sing fight songs  door to door, and may be awarded with a glass or  Gatorade , or Powerade

 The  Superbowl  dinner  will   he varied, from ribs  to hotdogs, nachos  and  chips, Pizza  and Burgers, and   in the southern area, maybe  a taco or two.

 Kick   Hang their Cleats   up on the  Mantle., if they committed too many infractions, they will receive   penalty flags.  If they are good, they maybe halftime candy bars, and gum.

  Football Claus  comes in his  Team Bus , drawn by eight  golf  carts.  as he  carried  the   goodies to the  homes, watches  the  Replays  and decides on the call.

 has  the  Bus   flies  away, a whistle blows and  he shouts.." Merry Kick off  to all, and to all a good game"

My Ronnie had a stroke, believed to be from anaesthetic for xray. Vets won't admit it though.
Kept having seizures through evening into and through the night. Let him go at 3pm Saturday.
Devastated.

i feel bad... this is one of the reasons  i don't have pets any longer.

Oh so sorry to read that Ronnie passed on - my condolences to Ronnie's loss.  Losing someone close is always tough and the way sometimes makes it harder. I'd give an evil DM eye to that vet foir you and know you did your all for em.

I have two cats and can't imagine life without them.  One is a big, (25 LB) orange Tabby, who is a big love, and one is a tortoise shell, who has to be into everything.  And I mean everything that neew that comes into the house, she just HAS to investigate.

She's a character.  Not afraid of any dog in the building, one on one, but heavy forbid when the street sleeper comes by, and she runs for cover.  (shaking head.)

I mean, she's stood nose to nose with snarling pit bulls, and German Sheppards, and stood her ground.  Yet, every morning when the street sweeper coms by, he first instinct is to run for cover.

Fuzball on the other hand, is very laid back.

His favorite thing is to find a place to sleep, curl up, and go to sleep, and fuck the world.

Around 5pm every day, he comes around and let's me know its time for their dry food, meowing like he's starving or something.

So yea, the DM kinda misssed typed and granted everyone 2023 exp on January 1st 2024 so enjoy the exp.  remember I use 2nd edition exp charts.

eveyone can get 50 exp and a potion of healing.   I know, DM's think we are all might and powerful but yea, A potion of healing 1 dose 2d4+2 is in your backpack/belt pouch ect by the gods gift.   Priests, Druids and anyone that can cast healing feels this gentle hand of your patron comfort you a moment then the potion is there.  Those that well can't you still feel like a presence you felt when you got healed upon you a moment then the weight of a potion bottle you know of healing appears.

So, if you feel your DM over flexed his DM powers then do not take the potion.

Kree doesn't look at a god's gift and ignoe it..he  downs  the one  dose, getting   8 points better.

Never look a God's Gift Horse in the mouth ;-)

Mom's  day is in May... sometimes lands on my B-day...and Sadly  the last day my late  wife's life...

 this year is  excatly ..the  12ths  is  Mom's  day in the US... the 13  4:00 AM  was when she passed.

very Neat..congrates..you're still a puppy compared to me.. we do have  two 50 year olds  who play Sundy football with me.. on guy is cut like a G I Joe  doll, he used to  do survivor runs.. he's faster the some of the young  guys...
