Bruga is startled at Clair's demonstration of faith but decides to look intently at the potions...one never knows.

Re: Goval's Alchemy

Goval takes the gold and then the flasks. He takes out a small vial filled with translucent liquid, he takes out a dropper and draws a single drop from the first flask dropping it into the vial. The vial turns a glowing shade of green.

Goval smiles "First one is a simple healing potion."

He repeats the test with the second flask and the liquid in his vial turns an ugly shade of black "This one" Goval says "Is poison."

Gocal marks the healing potion as such returning it to Bruga and offers to destroy the poison one at no charge.

Re: Goval's Alchemy

Thank you Bruga says as he takes the vial. Uh, this poison one...do you think rats would lap it up? I mean, it would be a good thing if it killed rats.

Goval will tell the both of them that the poison will kill about anything and takes the bottle back briefly to amrk it before returning it to them. He doesn't seem pleased that you guys are keeping it though.

Re: Goval's Alchemy

Bruga looks back and forth between Clair and Goval. Uh, Clair, how does your Mistress feel about using poison when fighting? I mean, there are just animals and plants, beings with souls or spirits, and things in between.

Re: Goval's Alchemy

(( don't  think Tymora or Beshaba  have problems  with poison...it comes down to luck..beshaba would like that  the poison would cause someone bad luck..Tymora  would like the fact that you were taking the chance to use it...however..it  would have to be a chance..like  fightig someone, or sneakingn up on a bad guy...if you poisoned  a shop keeper or something...that would not be cool.))

In reply to Kree Quickshadow (msg #11):

Bruga, Lady luck well, you play with fire, er poison you get, well you know, take your chances.  shrugs Now I am not really up on using it.  Mr. Goval seems to think it is unwise to have it.  I am not sure how the rest would feel about it. Smiles, my recommendation would be to allow Mr. Goval to destroy it.  I think maybe we can witness it, turning to Goval with that questioned look.

Clair gives her best charming smile, Oh, thank you so much for your help Mr. Goval.  If we change our mind on that one and or need other potions and such, I will make sure to look you up first. Have a great a lucky day and walks out thanking Bruga for holding the door and mutters just loud enough for Goval to hear some of it as she walks out with the door closing, Now Bruga, that potion I am .... then quiets down once outside.  grins at Bruga as they walk back to the tavern, chuckles so what is your plan with that bottle, smiling that girlish smile.

Re: Goval's Alchemy

I have no plan except to tell the others about it. If they think it's a bad idea to keep it, we could have a fire outdoors sometime, and I could pour it slowly on the fire standing upwind.

In reply to Bruga Honeyfinder (msg #17):

Clair catches Brugas pause but does her best to make like she missed it.  Thinking, let lady luck deal out the next set of cards tomorrow for each of the group members, wondering what she gets for her next hand.  Bruga, ever the thoughtful one, escort me half the way so you only have half the distance this night to travel back to your masters, sighs, this may be one of the few nights we can justly go about alone.  Smiles, I will be OK, I have not used my spells if I need them and touches her holy symbol then her hammer, I am not totally defenseless.  We shall meet back in the tavern in the morning. Please say hi and wish your master the best for me.  then hurries to the tavern being extra careful thinking this may not be a pleasant night.

Bruga obeys, having caught Clair's catching but doing his best to make like he missed it. Sleep well he says as they part. He watches her until she's out of sight before heading to his own bed.
