Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I know I need to pick up my own pace a bit here, but I'm not TOO worried 'cause, as I said, I know it's the holidays. From Thanksgiving to New Years is usually a rough time for gaming, period.

Not sure whether to congratulate on the move or not, but I will wish you luck in the new place and offer condolences on the being sick. That's never any fun. Glad you're doing better, though!

You are doing just fine Segev. I know I check in every couple of days or so. I shoot for once a day but that doesn't always happen.

I've dropped the ball in the conversation here. I'd like to apologize. I'll try to keep my PC's dialogue more constructive and timely. (Thumbs up.)

Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
We've all been a bit lax. I will seek to have a "moving things forward" post IC by the start of next week. If you have time, feel free to continue conversations until then. I will do my best to make the plot-inducing post leave room for them to continue as well, just in case there is stuff left to discuss.

I am not forgetting this game; it's just been...hecktic. I'm done with graduation stuffs and I'm now home for the holidays ("home" being parents' home, really, in this case), which makes my time...spotty. But I'll make time this week to get some things together and post that IC post by the end of next Tuesday, I promise. (I might be driving back to Rolla on Monday, or I'd promise by the end of Monday.)

And, actually, Galen, your post gives me an idea. I won't post IC tonight (I'm too tired to be sure I wouldn't screw something up), but I'll try to get something answering you up tomorrow!

Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
Once again, I apologize. I have stayed longer at my parents' than initially planned. Hope everyone's having a good New Year; despite my laxity in holding up my end of the GM/player bargain with this game, I assure you, I haven't forgotten about it.

Sorry it took me so long to post, guys. Between holidays and illness, I got off track and it took me a while to get my head back in the game.

Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
Hey everyone!  Guess who has a computer again!

I'm kinda glad now that it took the GM so long to get my character introduced, that way my absence didn't detract from the game.  The GM did know, though, that I didn't have a computer due to it breaking *grumble*missed getting Skyrim for cheap during the holiday sale*grumble*.  I'll be pestering him and trying to actually get in the game.

Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
Not to be a pesky hound of a GM, but I notice several people have logged on in the last day but nobody's responded in a while. Are people waiting for me to do something? I'm currently waiting for any of several PCs to respond to various NPCs who've spoken to them; if that's not clear or I'm not giving enough to act on, please let me know and I'll go edit or post more to try to spark some interest. I actually do have a plan for this scene, but I don't want to turn it into one long narration of events with the PCs as mere spectators.

I was waiting for at least a few players to get in a post or two before continuing. They obviously had time to talk while the glider was in the sky. Has our Lady disappeared again?

I am doing what I figure I can and not get us all killed. Could shift to human form but I doubt that the guards would take that well.

The little merlin falcon lands on a branch near Merlin and caws at him. After a moment it caws again and flies over to the stands and lands no where near anyone if possible.

What you getting at my friend? Just want Merlin to raise his arm so you fly to it?

Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
Just staying in an open area that is close in case a sudden shift is required. Figured that you would need to land away from everyone. Then rejoin them. When you go inside that would be nice since that would keep me with the group.

Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
Okay. I have achieved one of my two goals with the current thread. Should I move "getting the new players introduced" to another thread's goals, or do we want to continue this one for a bit to have some conversation? I don't want to cut anybody off if there's something they want to discuss, but I've noticed it's trailed off in posting, so if people are just out of things to say, I'll get another thread up tomorrow.

Getting to know other 'exalted' in very public places, which 'frown' on Anathema tends not to happen very well ;-)

In reply to Alistr Hamrsoung (msg #102):

Alrighty then. I have one more scene here in Castle Oredol that I've got plans for. Where would you guys find most useful to "get to know fellow 'Anathema?'" I will see if I can merge these together, or if I need to shovel this current scene a bit longer and orchestrate to leave you PCs alone with nobody else around.

Re: OOC thread: Into Falan!
I am so glad that no one can see through illusions.  That would break the image that he's trying to present that he's normal.  Of course, he doesn't go through any effort to use an illusion to hide his jade hearthstone amulet.
