Shade takes   a Bite of His  Pizza and watches  Orria. He Turns to Shadow  and whirls and buzzes a couple  times.

 ..Yeah?  Sure..  you can Order a Milkshake..Orria  may have one  too, if   her Mom allows.

   Shade stands on the  bench-like seat nearest the Window ( it doesn't make him much taller) He holds Up his   arm Like  he is tring to flag down a waitress...but? none see him, or thing it  of note. Shadow watches   as he chews on a bite  and  catches a waitress' eye  nad Jerks his head towards  Shade, who's eyes  are getting   'warmer' the Longer it take to be 'seen'.

 The Waitress comes over  with a Puzzled Looks, Shade's eyes start  fading to 'cooler' colors.  There is a stream of whirls  and Beeps. The waitress just looks a bit, dumbfounded.

   Shadow  looks and says,..she can't understand you, Shade?  Can you make her  Understand?

 The waitress, is getting close to running away.

  Dana  comes Over   and touches the Waitress's  shoulder,..go on  Gia..I have this....

 Gia   smiles  and Nods to Shadow as she scurries away.

 Shade grabs  Shadow's  left sleeve and Pulls and Points  at Dana,there are some  sharp beeps and  orange eyes.

  Shade?..what if I am in the air?..or  on a Mission? You have to  find a away to  talk with folks?....so..any ideas?

 he plopped down on the bench his eyes  almost red..then they fade quickly as he grabs his Vid board, his    three finger   hand zips around the screen in a few seconds he holds  a up a rather  Good drawing Of a Milksshake, with two  little fingers next to it.

  Dana looks  and Nods,..You want 2 shakes... one of you and one for the lady... she smiles at Orria...what flavor?

 Shade makes  two little shakes, one  Brown one  white..he makes a line from   the white one, to the  little 'boy' figure.  then  slides the board to Orria , after Beeping a few times  and pointing to the Shakes.

 Dana smiles     and  gives Shadow a sidelong glance,..little charmers.... takes  after his  Dad...

 Shadow   chuckles a bit darkly, as he holds up his own  empty to get another,..yeah..I'm a chick magnet.... got the poles  mixed up though!

 As they wait for Orria  Shadow asks  Henry,...you teach  him that , too?

   Listening to Morgan, Slick nods affirmative as he talks, I understand Chief, I do, it's just,.. well, he was a friend, and even friends made bad choices, I'll do as you say, and miss him as I miss him, and I will do what I can to learn from his mistakes as well. Thanks Chief. Lifting his glass he says a silent farewell to Ajax..

So.. if you are so inclined to do for Sam what you are thinking, I say it's your deal with whomever the deal is to be made. I liked Sam, she'd a good kid, but just not mine. If she is safe and taken care of where she is, I say leave her there. but gain, thanks for the offer, and I'll let you deal with that.

He waved to attract Shade's attention and gave him a thumb's up.

Melia nods in agreement that Orria can have a milkshake, noting the slice of pizza was mostly eaten "Sure, what flavor do you want Orria?" She asks. Orria tilts her head from side to side before saying,  "choc'late" with excitement. She watches confused by the waitress who appears to be scared of Shade and doesn't seem to try and understand. She listens with rapt attention absorbing every whistle and beep, and word between Shade and Shadow.

When Dana asks what Orria wants she announces again "CHOC'LATE" she waits until the waitress leaves. She repeats the patterns at Shade pointing at him the picture  of the milkshake,  then holding up two fingers.  "Shade want two milkshake" She says aloud smiling at Shade. She crawls around and under the table before Melia can grab her and pops up next to Shade.

Hawkeye walks in with her came limping slightly, she pauses at the door looking about to see where everyone is sitting.

  Shadow,   Hearing Hunter's  Hail, he  looks up to see  Cat. Had adds his own hand  wave as well. he also starts  on another slice of Pizza.

The folks gathered on the Rec Dec we'ren't  as  solemn as Most post game parties, since there wasn't  , to them, a Prolonged action. The stress and sorrows  of the  Missions  , did, touch those who were sent  down.

   Some   tired relax  with   songs  from the Vid Box. Supe  , Tucker  and Hodden sat against the wall across the  way  , and Tucker got up, picked out a Song and  Grabbed the  Mike...

   he  sang, surprisingly good... Some of the other Crew  around  joined in, using forks and  Knives  for drumsticks...

   Shadow  almost fell down the  elevated  seat as he was  dragged   on the Dec..Shade Looked Up watching with Grey eyes...

   when the Song started  Eckles  and Frans  started to walk toward s  Shadow, it took him a  second  to   walk Backwards..then he  would walk forward    in time with the  Music.

    when they  Got to the line, a lot of the people who went to the Academy would  yell " OH YEAH>>THE BOY CAN PLAY!.."

  Dana even shouted as she  sorta 'danced' her way over to the table.

 he shrugs as  he takes a drink,...There's gonna be times  when we can still use the  3 mech squad system, but  there will be just as Many times when HAck sends  one of  us with some troopers.... Our Mech troopers  got hit pretty hard, But that's no surprise, support troops  get chewed up pretty quick... Linda?... Well.. her best bet, Is HAck feels bad  for her,  and just sends her to the colonies.

well, after everyrhing shes seen at the proving grounds, im suprised she lasted this long. I agree tho, we can work together well, chief? Do you thing we can get some sim time in on mechs? If we can work together there, we can come up with some kind of working tactics. Just a thought.

 As he settled in, Shadow said, between bites of Pizza...all I heard was descriptions of these one eyed things....no one put a name to them yet. But... Hillites and everyone in this  damn quad has to know about them...including  the ESN folks at Everest , and the Verians...but?  we don't  seem to have anyone stepping up to talk about them

Maybe leave the dumbassed moves in? Give us a lesson on how  not to do things ? If the right thing were in the sims all the time , never learn what mistakes not to make. Again, just a thought.
