Minding his own business and certainly not interacting with any of the alien races, Spartan waits. He keeps his eye open for any signs of trouble.

  He waits... The Occui woman  shrugs at the snub, and goes  about   setting up  the bottles and cleaning glasses.

 about 5 minutes  of  awkward sitting, a Mull with a scar across  his let cheek , and wearing  a custom made boarding suit, along with  a pair of Mull blaster    approaches. Behind him is an Ugly looking Hyrian ( of course, they are all ugly looking)

 this  Hyrian  is a Good  3  feet taller then the  3-4 foot tall Mull. they stop, the Hyrian is sniffing. The Mull says,so... you are the  Human... something about the scarecrow? I am Del'to... most, call me  Del....what you lookin' for , that you come down into the heartof the  Stem?

"The Scarecrow yes. I am its captain. I am looking to replace seven sensor buoys, and two dozen scatter rockets. Also, I am looking for four pulse rifles, and a portable mini-gun. My coin is good. Can you supply these items?"

  The  Mull  eyes  Sparatn as he  talks, he   holds out  a hand  to the Hyrian, that  reaches in  a satchel it carriers pulling out  a  thicker then normal Vid Board.

 He begins to tap on the screen, after a few moments he  looks up....scatter rockets are hard to come by... I might be able to get some in a day or two. The Bouys, we have 2 in stock...

  we have a few  Pulse  rifles in stock... normal weapons aren't  too hard to get  ahold of, almost every ship that gets  jumped  has some kinda  SEC on board... now?  watcha mean by portable Mini gun?

"Six-barreled, belt fed, backpack loaded electric powered high velocity machinegun that can be carried by a single man, hard ammo. Preferably two of those. Also, i have 4 crates of chinese love dolls i have to get rid of if you are interested."

  The Mull looked at Spartan  as he  motioned to the passed out  Hillite. The  Hyrian grabbed the Hillite by his weapons  belt  and  Tossed him easily away.The Hillite tried to get up, but  just crumpled in back down and continued to sleep.

  The Occui was already cleaning the  top of the counter  as  The Mull sat down...First off?..The Dolls? your in the wrong place to try and sell stuff like that..They have Pleasure Techs here, Though Fuji and Etna won't allow them  in thier stations, they will ..'work out of thier ships'

 ..YOu might be better  served  selling them at Astra, or Olympus, or Earth..Some sick  people down on earth...

  Taking a drink that appeared in front of him, he motioned to Spartan,have one on me.... Then he sips.

 ..The Bouys?...500 credts  each... The Missiles... 300 creds each, if i can find them.... you could pay more , you could pay less...but  i want to see you find them... he smiles, the scar showing the oale  skin where fur used to be.

 ...This Mini Gun... we might be able to find some?But they'll start at 900 creds...might be more if  we have to 'barter' with whom we deal with.

Spartan nods in agreement. His drink remains untouched, as he already has his own. "Those are fair prices. We have an agreement it seems. How about the pulse rifles?"

...The Pulse rifles?... they are the easy part.. i wil get them for you at  50 creds  each... we would have had  more, but   something hapened to our...broker...

 ..now?..you will understand..if i ask...cam you cover this many  creds?

"Lets assume you can supply what I need. If so, i'll take one minigun, the two buoys, and four pulse rifles. Leave the rockets for now, I'll see about getting them later. According to your price list that would be around 2100 credits, depending on the minigun. Deliver them to me for 2000 and you have a deal. If the goods are good you can be sure I will return more often. Feel free to scan my cred chip to check if i'm good for it."

 The Mull scans his  wrist chip and Looks at the  readout, tHen looks  at  Spartan,well... seems you have enough creds...before i take the 2000... where do you want it  delivered?

"There are several ESN shuttles at the port. I will make sure i 'procure' one. You just deliver the goods to the port. And you will take the 2000 upon delivery, no sooner."

  The Mull looks overly suspect ,..ESN?..... you want me to deliver goods to a dock that has  ESN SEC  walking about? I might have ta rethink the charges here....

 The  Hyrian  has  a low throat growl...

"I want you to exactly that, and guarantee you safe passage, yes. But if you are afraid I will take my business elsewhere..."

  The  Hyrian  growls   its throaty growl.

   The  Mull down his drink,..look.... you come here  asking for good that most folks can't  get...and you aren't  one of the  Everests  Runners. Now...you try to tell me , you have the Juice, not to have  me get nailed on a dock load of ESN ..SEC

"Thats exactly what I am telling you. You just get the goods to the docks. Ill get them in the shuttle and to my ship. You dont even need to get near any ESN personel."

   Del  thinks a bit  ,..so..let us get the straight...what do you want me to deliver?...  then he  adds before Spartan  states his order,..keep in mind... if io lose any part of  my order, you have to pay for it...if not..your  ship will be mine, or your head   will be....if you understand this..restate your  order

 he   sets his   Vidboard  down and is ready to type.

"One minigun, four rifles, 2 buoys. 2000 creds. Shouldn't be too big a load. Let me know when you are coming and Ill be there to make sure there are no problems."

 The Mull types  out the order.  he hits  print an a  thin slip of paper appears.

 ..This is your  Copy.... there will be a Sanri female, white  long hair. she  will be  leading the group that brings the airvan.

   Standing , Del looks at Spartan,.....I don't trust humans , as a rule.  I do not trust ESN..at all...  .he points  in the direction of the  hull where the main traffic stream is.

 ...This delta Fleet  has  caused alot of trouble so far....and   i feel they intend to cause more....I don't like   trouble. Keep that in mind....

 ...right now..you are on probation...that is to say, i will deal with you, until the first time i get burned.... I get burned... people around you get Dead....The shipment will be sent  tonight at  8:00 station time..there is some welcome  party going  by by  that idiot who in charge of the station...should be less trouble   getting  you load up.

  he gives a wave  and beginds to walk to the building on the right, the Hyrian's  muzzle  wrinkles up  bearing its  teeth,..have...a nice  day.... and it follows.

"20.00 it is," Spartan stated as he left the compound. Once outside he sent a message to admiral Hack, requesting a shuttle to transport some cargo to the scarecrow at 20.15, with the added request not to bother those that deliver said cargo. Spartan himself will be there to supervise.

Then he goes back to the lowers, to enjoy another drink and watch the remainder of the game.

 Spartan  has to wait a bit  for a taxi who has the guts enough to come into the lower level of the Stem.

   when the  guy picks him up, the car heads to the   lowers, breaking  down to the beaches.   he stops  at a cluster of  small motles that  have  folks going in and out  while watching the game.

 the  suns  is going  down soon, but its a pleasant night , some smarter owners  are setting up Vids   on patios  and the  beach to draw more cstomers for food and drink

Spartan watches the game and relaxes untill about seven, then he will move towards the spaceport. He will make sure he is there early.

  when the   game ends it will be  around 7:00... Spartan see the  4th quarter start and  will note the score  by Hermes  by reactions of the poeple ( good or bad).

  waitress comes  by with  some drinks asking  anyone if they want a fresh on.

With ample time to spare Spartan gets to the designated dock and awaits the shuttle.

  Spartan walks  down the   docks as the shuttle  ramps open.  There is still no sign of the   Van or truck.

  The  SEC guards   turns and go back to their   patrols.

Spartan enters the shuttle to check who's flying it. Seeing Bo and Slick he is confident things go well on this end at least.
"Guys, listen up. This should be routine. Four crates. Load up and leave. However... The guy i'm dealing with is an alien, and as such not to be trusted. No offense Bo. So be ready for anything."
