TX-5 looks at the  Naragran....nothing happens.

  Then she says to it,...are you happy , with the appearence of the Humans on this   world.

 The Naragran clicks it spindle claws a few times, there is a couple whistles a few beats apart from each other.. it  slowly moves  its  gator head , up and down.

  Joseph Raises an eyebrow to the creature, then looks back at the purple being "Ya might want to talk too some of tha more established members of the Delta fleet community. Ye'll find military support isn't the only benefit ye'll get with the AP.  The traders will be pounding on yer door to buy your products and bring quality goods to yer people.  Managed properly it could bring a great deal of revenue to yer government in taxes."

  "Just give it a thought, but in the mean time ya can help yer friends down there on the planet a lot more if ya contact them and tell them they need to surrender or you won't be allowed to help them.  Humans are quite nasty when they want to be.  Your system defenses may be the first to take out the first wave but the second wave is a bitch, an ya can't support your allies in the middle of an AP blockade.  That's the combined technologies of a dozen cultures out there.  Us humans are only the spearhead."

   Mac turns to Hack, "I'm sorry for the interruption sir, as you know, us scots were never good at keeping our traps shut."

   To the Naragran, he continues to make notes on the pad. "So the mind scan things only works with physical contact?  Here an I thought the you could sense the presence of brainwaves.  He types something on his data port.  It is interestin to know ye were a space farrin species to be on multiple planets.  I'm no engineer but yer ship designs had to be epic."

  There was still on word  coming from  Niver...

   Hack  watched   the two team's screens, sometime sshaking his ehad,   but aalways  sipping on a  cold , local drink.

  the others of the board  watched as well, though , more prone to interact with their guests.

   Orria and Shade , focuses now on Melia , since Shadow is  safe.

   The Admiral Looked  over to Joe Mac. There wasn't an indication of whether he mined or now. But his the eyes shifts to the black screen  was a 'tell' that  he wasn't liking the Nivarian silence.

 ..For the Moment, Joe? There is no formal meeting going on, our  Guests are seeing  how we carry out politics  at the tip of the spear.

 The Naragran pointed a spindle like  arm to Emmie.....Emmie.. i am sure you won't  mind....

  She looked surprised... mind what..OHHHHH!

 The naragrans   claws  grasped her arms at the shoulder  and  Lifted the woman into the  air, she was terrified, Hennings  stood  reaching for his   sidearm ..

 Emmies   was  scared to death ( beth seemed to enjoy this ).. then the Naragran held her  in front of its  maw.. the beady eyes looked into hears and  she froze  for a Moment...about  15 seconds.. the naragran put her  down... and released  here.. a slight whistle from its  nose.

 Emmie looked around.. ..it was in My head!...

 Beth said  drily ,.certainly  enough room in there....

 Si  gave her a soft elbow, but the commanders  lush lips  curved  up a Bit... Hennings   frowned back at beth, but he was  trying  not to laugh.. Hack smiled..and Bale  just cleared his throat.

 the  aliens  , just looked at each other. NC-37 asked,..so?  some idiot  in your forces  just walked up to one of these things and thought it was a good idea to be picked up  with that acid producing Pouch inches away?

 The Naragran mad a short snort.

 Shade  bleeped a bit loudly, but never looked up. Orria  waggled a finger at NC-37

 ..Though the NAragrans  have a few more legs, then what we normally call people?  To me, they are  a People... yuou'd have to ask Doc  Henry what he's going to classifiy them as.. but?..they have   a strcture.. they live in groups , or alone..they can carry out a war.... they?..just don't have anything to fly in.... If   we can fix that.... they will join the Fleet, since they joined the APF... I have to assume, it will be quite a surprise to those  we  face, if they agree to fight with for us?... Imagine a  squad, or even a whole stick of Naragran troopers, slipping into a base at night?.... we might never lose a life again!

    Joseph kept working, as the new information came up.  His eyes still on the screen he says "As I recall, that "Idiot" actually saved the life of a mother and some of her youngs as the people who were our enemies at the time were killing them."  He looks up, "Always a good way to make friends don't ye know."

  NC-37 shook her head,..why would a Human,  stop other Humanoids from attacking a creature? These things  would  be eating  you right nopw, if they could?.. That's why Nivar  wiped them out!

 Mc-1 agreed,.. none have ever  tried to  communicate  with these things... There are also considered a  tasty dish on some worlds!...

 The  Naragran   gave a few sharp whistles.

   Hack shook his head,you'd have to talk with  him...but i don't think communication had anything to do with the actions.. he saw our enemies..attacking   a mother and her young...

 ..that is nonsence ... who does  something like that?

 Shade and the NAragran  both, made blunt   noises.

Jesse carefully made her way to the left corridor/hall and examined everything as she went along.  She was careful for trip wires or any second-hand riggings as they moved along that would explode them into infiniteness.

  down the  west..it looked to be a dim flickering light, some 100 yards to the  west (left).

   To the (right) east..  appeared to be a Door..but some debris was in front of it.

  The Naragran  sorta  settled  into its back legs..A Nivarian that was  wearing  a ESN Tunic that had been modified ( sleeves  cut off.. the ESN/APF patch on the right breast, on the left breast was a  Green moon over   the ESN anchor.), for the 'new  Nivrian recruits on the Moon.. Human  ESN troops would also adopt  the  lighter  coverings... The Niavrians that were  joining the space   troops would have normal uniforms with the ' Green Moon' as their   home insignia.

  The   new  Nivarian trooper   held up a Haunch of Meat from a Tree Bear and the  Naragran  took it with a nod  and  Plopped it, into its  pouch.


 The Cavet, did not seem to  think twice about it... the Humans were a bit... put off, but showed to other  outward sign.

 The roussians   looked  disgusted, and did not  hide it.

"Supe...cover that door.  Keep in mind that our own people are coming down here from the top, so don't get too anxious to start shooting if you see it move...but if it opens and it's not APF personnel on the other side, lay into 'em with everything you've got."  He gestured in the direction of the partially blocked door.

"Let's take care of the clear door, first..."

  ...got it  SM....  Supe set up, Just left of the passage with his    weapon pointed  at the  door. Tucker    was down on one  knee with his  Pulse rifle. Though the smaller  man was better with a hard Ammo carbine. he wanted the addition ammo of a pulse weapon. Moving to the Clear  door, it looked to be in better shape the most of the doors they have encountered.

  Melina was behind them,  trying to check both ways  at once.. KArson was  with Jesse  by the door

 Kole  was just behind Karson, while  Wagstaff and Robbins stay closer to  Roy

 Lyri set up in the Middle of the 'clear door' tunnel  but made sure she had Line of sight, towards  the other  door.

  The  clawed tracks   have one  odd thing...'toes' two wide spread in the  fron, two wide spread in the back, It is noted that the  claws at various tips  leave scratches in the stone.

  the rest look like  a mix of Humaniod times, all with some form of footwear

  Garrat made sure his gun cam got a good look at the tracks.  He checks the door for obvious traps and then looks for controls.

  Garrat checked the  door over, he didn't  see any sign of traps.

  As he Looked up wards, he noticed the light  wasn't  shining, on the door, but more on something that was Painted on it, barely visible under the  dust... some kind of words? Numbers? it was hard to tell. to the far lefy was a dust covered panel.. with a faintly glowing  yellow light, hidden  from sight from far away by the dust, and the bot of light from the overhead  lamp.

      The Felrite Pilot came out of the Shuttle...Dr  Henry?..we are being  able to  be doing the lift off? Is it  , that you are ready to go?

 Giol looked  around,..I am ready, when you are, Dr Henry?

"Great!" said Henry. He checked that all the techs were ready and everything was stowed safely.

"Mila! Come on girl, time to go home."

    The Felrite Pilot  gave a thumbs up ( that was catching on, since Herny showed  Shade  how to use it)... She  enter the cockpit.

  On ALL COMs she called out,..The Club is  going to the  Hermes now..any who wish to come along...be hurrying your tails...

 Giol sat in the shuttle  , looking a bit nervous,..the  prisoner ships  were a bit...bigger.....

 Simms stood  at the end of the ramp, waiting  for the others to    get seated.

Once she confirmed the status of the door, she stood guard so the others could pass through, following soon after herself.

Henry made sure that Mila was settled safely, and gave her a doggy treat.

 With the Door  Opened, the team began to filter through... Supe  and Tucker held their  spot at the intercetion..Lyri Moved up, But  Now concentrated her attention behind them.

  the  passage went on for a good  50 yards, then game to a set of  older, Metal stairs... there  was a faint light coming from below..and a bit of heat.

   Once  Buttoned Up... the Shuttle  rose   into the air , pivoted and made for   the Black...

  the Techs  seemed   to be in good  spirits, though one of the techs did suffer a Bite  form a spider like  creature, when the ran through the forest.

  they had    cleaned it up and  added some  derma foam, but not the plast, until Stefi and Med  tech  could check it out.

  quite a place , Doc....could spend a few years hunting down everything there is to see down there?

  Shade and Orria  watched the  Vids... keeping an  eye on Melia and the others.. he would point to Roy and Lyri, and the Jesse and  Supe and Tucker...the other ones he knew, but they didn't really  spend much time around him.

   Si  Pulled Up a chair,  nodding  for Bornberry to take a seat as well.

 Hennings   saw  Hack was lost in the vids, so he broke the  silence,..Not that it  Matters, because we do not stop  any from joining the APF.....What can Roussians  or for us?

 They all looked a bit shocked,..Why..Admiral Hennings?... NC-37  looked dumbfounded.... we are the foremost race..in our galaxy , that can bend  tech to our will!

 Bale   smiled as he looked over  some odd, striped Berries before popping on in his mouth,..My Dear, NC-37...is that not , what the  Verians do?

 ..They..ARE...tech.. we  build..mod.. and control tech.... the other  two purple-ish heads  nodded.

  Beth spoke up,..and?..That's  why you didn't know our ships were there, Until you were Hailed?

 ..that was a fluke.... now that we know you can do that?..it will never happen again... MC-1 snapped

  Bronberry took it and ran,..Tell me then?.. how many ships are preventing your  ships from  going any further?

 ...you have  4 CAp ships  and  a pair of  destroyers...and... you are not preventing us..we are holding station, to parlay...

 Looking back at beth, Bornberry and her laughed,4 caps ships?..ok.... and she  laughed some more...


 MC-1's skin turned a darker shade of purple,..what?.. You are making sport of me?

  Hack spoke only once..intent on watching his people,..MC-1?..let us just say..any attempt by you to  continue on to Nivar, would leave  Rouss short of ships, and  increase our scrap supply...and..maybe add a few prize vessels to our fleet...

 TX-5 spoke softly,...there are more ships  Under  Commander Bormberry's  command there?

 Hack's head rested on the clasped hands of his steepled arms, he motioned to Hennings  with a finger...

 ..I am sure you will understand  if we do not go into great detail....But the Delta fleet, is not a Mass of ships that swarm through the  Black Like Locust.....there are dozens of squadrons ..commander  by a braggartproven officer.. to break and lead, when needs be....so....with out fear of being a ... Your ships wouldn't make it much further, then another 30,000 Miles? if that... Just enough to see the Black moon without having to use Vids....

 MC-1 looked even more  upset,..if this is true, why did you not simply destroy some vessels to prove how...'mighty'..you are...

Oliver's first encounter with the  Demons, showed  his people that could fight them.... what no one  expected..was that we would win..... what no one expected, was...after   repeated  Vid talks, and warnings.. the Empire  kept treating the galaxy  as thier own pantry..and Breeding pen...

  The declaration of total war was thought to be a joke, not only by the Empire..but by some, who would alter become our allies.... and Now....not many are laughing...Earth declared war on the Empire..one tiny planet.... and now look?

 Hennings  bowed his head to Si, Then added,..in many ways we are as savage as the Empire....and we will become more so..because, that is a fact of life out here...But... your ships.. to blow some up, just so we can say we did? That is rather foolish, don't you think? But the Most important part, of this whole thing..that you seem to misunderstand? We know.. we can destroy, most of the folks we come across... it is not  , pure  chance that the Hittlites  are suff3ering... or the Hyrians  are boarding on having a dead planet....but?  if folks  join us, because they want to, there is a good chance they were swerve with honor and selflessness  as those who populate the Delta Fleet now...and..of course... we do not give repeated chances....if you prove false... or , outrightaggressive, then we will do what we have to do, to protect our people.

 He motions to TX-5,...look it up.... Th AP  was infiltrated by EDT and Evol cronies.... when  Oliver was given the power to enact treaties..no one fore saw him banding  planets and systems together  to form the APF..In the End...MC-1... Earth did not Join the  war against the Empire... it declared it.... and? the Delta Fleet is the standard Bearer...  the three Roussians sat back in thought.

Seeing the stairs, Jesse figured now.was a good time to check on Garrat and fon out his position.

COM to Garrat: Where you at?  We are near stairs leading up.

She looked to the team and nodded as she moved along with them.

Roy looked down, at the glow.  "Wonder what kind of power supply they use for a weapon like that lightning gun..."  His tone was measured, calculating...APF techs, reverse-engineering a power source like that and adapting it to APF technologies, could really throw a,major power shift into the war...

"Let's take a look...if we can shut down their power, this might go even faster..."  He moved to the stairs, starting downward with a quiet, cautious tread.
