Teela found a seat and ordered two ice cold glasses of water and a large bowl for Larry in case he was with the LC. She figured if Shadow had been running then Larry was as well. She watched people as they went by and smiled or waved to the ones she knew or anyone else who seemed friendly.

   Gia walked  past ,looking Teela. She  Stopped  and  looked around the Rec dec.

   ..so?.. you are   waiting for someone?... her litlting voice  and  wiggling  eyebrows    said more then the words.

---> Field / Gym

After dropping off her kit bag at her quarters Harry would wander the Rec Dec at her leisure and take a look at what the small collection of shops had to offer. Where women's clothing was concerned the majority of it appeared to be either work attire or casual clothing more suited to having a coffee with your girl friends than attracting the attention of a cute guy which was pretty much what Gai had told her. However despite this she did manage to find a little blue nightie to replace the extra large T-shirt she usually wore to bed, figuring that if she could find the confidence to wear that in front of Will then she could probably cope with wearing a dress on a night out.

Holding the bag that contained her sole purchase she would spot Gai and An’Teela sat at one of the tables. Deciding that now was as good a time as any to grab something to eat she would move over to where they were, smiling as she spoke “oh hey does this mean you told Roy?” she asked, having caught what Gai had said just as she had been nearing the table.

  Gia  smile s at Harry,...ohhhhhhh.. the SGT Maj... the nut that is  the hard cracking, so i am told...

 Giant motioned to the  big water dish,..she is also expecting  the  Big lizard-dog...

"Both of you are awful gossips so I shall refrain from saying anything about what may or may not have been said to the Sgt. Major, thank you. I am actually waiting for Shadow so we can discuss fleet business. I will, however, say that in regards to...hard cracking nuts; Angels are quite strong," she said with a smile for the both of them.

   Entering the  Rec dec,  Shadow carried his    Flight   Jacket, is  Hermes baseball Cap on the  Back of his head and his  Enviro suit unsided to his weapons  Belt. His  hair was still damp with sweatt..  Larry  walked alongside  with his head up as if he was  Proud.


  Shadow stopped  By the  Table   waving off  salutes  and  bowed, Hello LAdies..... sorry... I tried   1 more lap around the ship to see if i could close on Larry  at a  full run?...  i was able  to ...not lose..yards.. for  about  40 then he  rounded the  Bow.. I think  he was playing with me..

 Larry Thumped his tail and Looked at his water Dish, and then to Shadow,..Go ahead?.. no one else has a bowl like that, nor  do they  eat on the  floor?

 The larg began to  Drink with his tail thumping away.

 ..So?  You wanna  talk now, or  are you lasies  trying to  see who you will invite to  the SAdie Hawkins dance?

"Teela I'm hurt, to think I'd gossip about your love life...or lack of" Harry said in a shocked voice as she sat in a chair that was as far away from the oversized water bowl as she could get whilst still sitting at the same table. No matter what people said to the contrary, Shadow's pet Larg still scared the hell out of her and so she preferred to put a little distance between her and it. Despite the fact that Teela was meeting Shadow rather than Roy it didn't stop Harry from teasing her over her crush "...and besides, since when has you hitting on Roy been fleet business?" she asked with a mischievous smile to match the Teela's "unless you're planning on asking him to be your date to the ball on Anzio?"

It was around about this point that Shadow would arrive, prompting Harry to give a quick salute whilst keeping a wary eye on Larry. When asked whether she was trying to decide who to take to the dance she would quietly chuckle before replying "I think we all know who I want to take to the dance"

  Shadow smiled  at Harry,..well I hope  its the same guy  i'm thinking of....because  you might  have to pair up for the after  party.....

 he still stood    until  asked to sit, but  also kept talking.

 The APF  over  ruled   Admiral Hack for the first time in....ever.  They placed  a Sanri, Occui..and the  Money-Mull in charge of   the station, while lowerign the offcier s  The Admiral put in place, to  command the  ships and troops..... because of that?.. we have to make nice  at the Ball  and  Delta  Night will happen all over  the station... we'll have some   prime targets... but any Empire person having Claim to a dock..business , or ship might  not be there in the morning.

"Thank you for illustrating my point, Harry. You waited for the LC to walk up before naming names and I may indeed ask him, not that I'm telling you," she said with a wink.

"LC, please sit down. I was actually waiting for you alone and in peace when these two incorrigible gossips showed and began putting their ears in my affairs." She gave Harry and Gia a mock scowl before reaching down to give Larry some rubs and scratches. "How are you today, my friend? Did you enjoy making the LC look like he was sitting still whilst you ran around him?"

She looked up at Shadow. "Delta Night all over Anzio? That's going to be intense."

  Shadow nodded,a bit differant as well, we are used to   working  'upper's ' Lowers  and stems..... but   Anzio is  one  Huge ball with another Ball inside it..and  4 times the Length of Stem  wrapped  around it like a Gyroscope

 His eyes shifted to  the LArg...the tunnels  are roughtly..a  3  Mile  run.... a miel down  each side, and a half mile  across the abeam.... I did  two laps.... LArry  did  3..but he sat amd waited for me a few times... i bet he gould have  done 5..

 ..who are you going to  tale to the   Dance?

 Shadow chuckles,..whomever   Commander Si tells me to?... Some time they let me go in alone...so i can 'hit on ladies"..some times its some one they want me to be...'hit on By.'

 Gia gasped,..that is why you were so ready to dance  with me  on Etna?

 ..now now.... you  were  doign the same thing  for Sevente CAme  down to Rook takes  Rook.. and  both side s had to do without us....

 she  giggled,...Si.. i suppsoe  that is  right....

 there is a good  bet  the Commander will be openign her closet again, for you all to  Pick..APF is formal and all...

"Would we be expected to be in Mess Dress for the ball? That or formal wear will still leave us quite vulnerable if the Empire decided on a preemptive attack whilst we were dancing or dining." Teela's brow was furrowed at the unpleasant thought.

   Shadow shake his head,..nope.. dressed up like a bad academy Vid.... with your 'night shift clothes , to be stored   at..wherever   'my ' place will ne.

..There   are , what? 80 Delta  Caps that are going to be around the stations, not   counting   support ships.. and the ships  that Anzio has.... I'm sure  we'll be fine.

"It sounds as if a good night will be had by all save the Empire. One must be really stupid to invite a second Delta Night in the same place a mere handful of days after the first." She shook her head.

"I did have something specific I wanted to discuss with you, LC and that's the Headhunter, Dixie. We've integrated or or trying to integrate, former hostiles into the fleet before. I was wondering if the same could be done for her."

  Shadow sat Back and Looked  at   Teela,..the Red Bird?... I dunno, we're  not having  too good of a track record .. what are  you suggesting?

"She's a good pilot and smart enough to know she was getting shot down if she didn't surrender. She might have good intel for us. I spoke to her earlier and she wants to get in the air again so she'll likely be grateful if we give her the chance. I told her if this happened she would be ESN and her mercenary days are over. She was a Lt. in their company so she didn't join in the SSN...feasts," she said with clear disgust in her voice. "I didn't ask her if she knew about them because I thought you and the Admiral would want to do that if you agreed to interview her about this." She stopped and looked Shadow right in the eyes.

"I truly hope she didn't know but if she did and it didn't bother her, I'd like to be the one to send her on her long walk home."

   There  is a   bit of  quiet  as he    nodded his eha d  a bit,well?.. we have  Townes's  ride  empty.... I'll see what the Admiral says

   he looked at LArry, then  around the table,she'll have a shorter lease the Townes... because  she waxed  some of my people.

"Understood. If she even hints at treachery I'll turn her into a fireball myself. I'll trust someone as far as their first betrayal and that becomes their only one. I wouldn't suggest it if not for her being an experienced pilot which I know we need. If she's as good as her word then we come out ahead in the end." She reached down and kept scratching and rubbing Larry.

"Permission to be present if the Admiral decides to give her a chance at discussing this."

   well?.. I'll COM you when the Time  comes. I', Gonna left the Admiral alone for a bit,, Unless he comes back down here... Th Commander wasn't real happy  with Him or me..

 Stefi  came   off the Lift, Looking around  and MAde a Bee line to Shadow... and HAnded Him a Vidboard.

 Shadow read it.. and looked at her, She nods, and    Motions to the servers, and  Stood Up, Getting on His  COMs,   Kase!.. I need You on the Rec Dec... 5 minutes ago!.

 Turning to the ladies he says,..I think you folks  she be here for this...

 Shade  CAme On  the  Rec Dec, walking as  quickly as he  was  able Towards  Teela's table..  Dana  was ehaded to the stalls  to get drinks and such.

 Larry    leaned into the  scrutches of his head, his tail thumping again.

"What made them angry? That we took out the rest of the SSN whilst on a 'training flight' that had the Admiral in the fight?"

She sat where she was when Shadow jumped up and called Justin. Something was obviously going on but for good or ill? They would find soon enough. "Is this good or bad, LC?" She asked as she stepped off her seat to get to ground level with Larry so she could continue to scratch his head but also get down his back which she was sure was hard to get to for him. "You're amasing, Larry. A good friend and ally that I'm proud to serve with. Are you hungry? I could get some big steaks for you."

Justin was in the process of uploading the latest Sim Patch when his com squeeled a priority incomming alert. Instinctively opening it up he noted the com from the LC, responding Acknowledged. Apologising to the Chief he hurried across the Rec dec to where Shadow was waiting; snapping him and Stefi a well executed salute Ensign Kace, reporting as ordered Sir!.

   .... what it was... is The Adobe  had been hunting those  2 corvettes from the start of the battle.. it so happens the  Pilots   gathered together and  managed to find the corvettes... No one knew  But me, the Ghoul and  the Adobe..but..the joke was on me, 'cause i didn't know the Admiral was going to go...then you add that the guy i was testing shot me  and the Admiral up?.. well...

 Larry Thumped his tail.....sure  spoil him, , its not like he didn't eat a bunch of bad  guys when he was on the boarding party.

 Justin  arrived, Stefi returned the salute, but  pointed  at a Vidboard  Shadow was   tapping  against his leg  as he talked to Teela about  Larry.

Justin resisted the impulse to grimace, as the thought; 'That Blasted Townes dropped me right in it...' poped into mind

  The Pilots on the Dec  began to come over  as hushed  whispers  about  what this may be about.


  Shadow  turned  and  Looked at Justin,..At Ease, Justin.. we have  something of  a...situation here...

 Flores Popped up, Kat and a MArine  was  coming  over.

  Howe  and Wagle s  came over  with two civie girls.

Justin stood at parade ease, not sure what to think, save the LC didn't appear to pleased with something... The arrival of the marine didn't brood well, this combined with the gathering group was concerning. A trickle of sweat pooled under his ear then ran down his neck. Justin risked a quick 'Do you know what the hell's happening glance?' in Teela's direction.
