 Mila  wagged  slowly as she looked at  Herny. one of the SEC trooper s broke the  towel machine and brought the  roll of 'cloth like'; disposable  towels to Henry.

“Then he should have been treated as a prisoner of war and not experimented on. I apologise for the treatment you’ve received, Lt. Cawes and will make sure you are properly treated. Can you see to that, Lt. Jivers?”

She started walking upstairs. “I’m going to take Gregor upstairs for food and water. I’ll be there when you’re ready to go, Henry. You look much better, Mila”

She walked upstairs and found the kitchen after some looking around. She set up a bowl of water on the counter and went into the refrigerator, pulled out some raw meat and put in in a bowl next to the water. “For you little one. I can’t imagine they fed you well.”

She set Gregor down on the counter in front of the bowls.

   Lt JIvers  just gave a Grunt., they would transfer   Cawes  to a hover cart  to be taken out. The Apefolk didn't seem to worry too much about the Avain.

  on the top level...Mortica   places the little larg on the  tbale,  and it loked at the water  and the food.. , it lapped a bit of  water, then   just plopped  down, looking   aroun  with a lowered ehad.

“You need to eat, little one. I think I know what will help.” She said, stroking his back. She picked up the meat and put it in the microwave to warm it up and free up some blood. When it was done she set it back down in front of him.

  the little  creature   flattened out a bit, but sniffed the meat..its  tongue licked out  once, then he  just settled  down on the  counter again, his head on his front  paws, looking at  Mortica.

 Shoey  says to Henry,well Doc?...  it was a bit of a long Delta Night.... but... it may have paid off? least ways,  we shut of the flow  a bit? You ready to go to the Condo?

“It’s all right, little one. If you’re hurting it would affect your appetite,” she said stroking his back. She pulled out the pain medication and drew up another tiny drop and held out to him.

Henry thanked the trooper and applied the towel vigorously to the wet dog.

"If we have all the specimens and notes, and all the staff have been dealt with, yes. Mortica has the larg pup, which was a priority. Thank you Shoey."

  The ride the lift up, with  Shoey calling   for Mortica..lets go ma'am... bring baby godzilla with you...

 The larg  had  licked  on  lick of the meds.. then just turned his head away, the wee beastie  was  all in, it looked like.

 ..you'd think, we'd  just  send Ape  folk in at the begining... yu know?.. hey.. get off the station or i will rip off you arm and eat it while you watch!

She stroked his back and picked him up. All right little one, time to leave this terrible place forever. I’m going to take care of you and keep you safe. So will Henry and Mila and other good people.” She joined them on the lift, rubbing his head around his ears.

   Micca  and Zob got a Taxi, the short Italian  woman looked  odd next to the Demon,  as she gave the driver  the address she said,... most of the  movers  and shakers  have Limos..bu why waste the Money.... the  FActory  is   below the Dec ot the   West side of the lowers..incase anything  bad  would happen, theyn could seal it off and jettison it.

   Teh air CAr  flew higher then normal to get to the factory.. there were at least 50 cars parked in the lot, leaving a bit  area of the lot open...I try to higher as many peole from the Lowers  or the Stem that i can, but.. i still need  Techs.. and they  like to live where Creds  flow pretty  loose...about 2/3s of my people walk to work, or take hover bikes.

Zob slowly turned his head to her, "I don't get behind the whole fancy thing with limos my job is to kill things plain and simple... the concept is alien to me"

Roy nodded absent with Zob's observation.  "I suppose they have their place, here and there.  But they're big and bulky and tactically, a liability...poor choice for everyday purposes."

Reaching the  Factory. The three get out. Micca  leading them to the main doors a Secuirty guard let them in, though he was a bit leery of Zob.

 when the  walk in she make a trun to the west... there  are rows  of desks, and  in the back   walls were labs  are.. lots o9f people working

  she  walks ahead, gives  a  arm wave to the labs,...we have alot of things  being researchyed... some of them the bEDT wantsv bad...the clsoes  one to testing is the  ENY-Frag

the grenade is made to cause  damage to personnel and vehicles,l then the   EMT goes off  frying COMs, engines, whatever... we are hoping the   frags help open  passages   for the  EMT flow.

 reaching the Bottom of the  elevator, the doors  open,  a guard sees her  and  she says,..I want three   DT 5 over under  rifles  and  Sidearms..in testing area 3?.. and a case of hard  ammo...

 they headed to  an area  that was  dark.. some other  areas  1  and 5 where lighting upo with  odd sounds. There is a smirk on her face,..I ahve a awards system for my security.. if they had no chits   in 30m days, they get to spend  a week  as a person who gets to shoot the new  weapons

  Shadow's  Yellow car    Zips  oputn of the  sky and , with alot mof flash in a parkign spot  near the sand.

 Flores got out,we coulda  walked you know?..its like?  3  blocks?

 Beth  had a Hermes  Ball came on,..yeah, the Condo  on the white sands  is  better.. we are right on the beach there.

 Shadow Motio9ned   for   Mortica  to see,..two stalls  on has  food  one has drinks, and  i bet they sell towels and lotions and stuff too..

 Larry    Thumps his  tail, lookign back,.. yhou wait..if you charge out there  now people will  scream.. lket them see you with us, then you can run around.. Just  no eating people.....unless they try to shoot us..

 when the  reached  the sand..  larry Bounded off and  dove into the water.

 Beth  shakes her  head  as people watched.....great.. most  folks bring  rafts... we bring Nessie

 A little up the beach from the   were, Stefi and her  mob.

"Excellent. I have a towel but something for the sun and a hat are definitely needed. It's already starting to hurt. Be right back." She walked over to the indicated stall. "Good day. Would you happen to have a large hat and something...a lotion to help protect from the sun?" She asked, stroking Gregor.

  The fellow looked at the little LArg who was jerkign his ehad now  and then when some one ran  by and such.

 ..Well Ma'am.. I have three   Floopy hats here..two of them have this scraf  thing to tie it on your head.. the other  just has a   pulls string?... and .. your skin is kind of pale?.. so i would use.. this heavy stuff..its  for  tender skin..

 With the  blakets all set up, Shadow moved   Moriicaa's up a bit to ctach   a wee bit of shade from teh trees.

   LArry was   flopping around in teh water   with Shade,  while Beth and Flroe s    went for a swim.

 Shadow   stood  half way from the  water  and the blankets  as he  searched the     slowly growing crowd...now and then a frown would  touch his lips, he took off his Mirror  glasses  and  tossed them to the blankets,,  as   dove in to the  water  for a  few  laps.

Mortica came back with a floppy hat and a scarf on and sat down on the blanket once Shadow had moved it. "Thank you, LC."

She stroked Gregor's back. "I'm going to set you down on the blanket so I can cover my exposed skin with this lotion. After that if you want to feel the sand go right ahead. We'll talk about you swimming though something tells me it comes naturally to you."

She set him down on the blanket in front of her and ran the lotion over her hands and face. "Good thing we don't burst into flame like in the human legends. Do you want to feel the sand, little one?"

   watchign Larry and Shade   wrestling in the  water  Tossing up plumes  of  spray... Gregor stood on his back  four legs  and   waved his   front paws  around. .. a Tiny roar.. emitted .

   Larry Looked  about and let lose  a howl...that sent a few nearby folks  moving  dwon the beach from them.

 This caused  Gregor  to prance  in  very  quick circles on teh blanket

  Shade  came out of the water, his  eyes  sky blue..  Flroes  and Beth  tried to tackle  Shadow, But he flipped  beth obver his  head into the  water    , then shift  his  weight to   cast  Flore s a bit   further.. bo9t girls   screamed  in delight.

 peoplewatchyed the  Larg  splashing..  Jumping up and  down  in the water.

Mortica laughed and stood up. "All right my fierce beast, go have some fun with Larry. I'll be watching from the edge of the water. Let's go!" She patted her leg and began to run to the water.

  Gregor  ran  after her.   tripping and  flipping a few times  over divsots in  the   sand.  Teh wee   beast  ran better  as the sand  smoothed out.. he stopped when it was   wet..looking at his  paws   Picking them...

 Then  a wave  covered  him, and he   tries to  scurry back..  squawking  and Hiss  at the water.

 Larry   Dove  At Shadow  and the  two  Locked Up.. Larry     trying to  Pushing him in  Deeper.. Shadow     forcing the LArg back a Bit.   Just when It  Looked  Like LArry had  Shadow, he drooped  to his  Knees     Flippign the Beast over   his head into the deeper   water.. Shadow Bent over    breathing hard  as he laughed..  Larry       slipped through  the water like a Darwin  Iguana      , and Nuzzled  Up aganst him, before  charging through the water    at Shadow who sat near   the   edge of the water, gettign the sun on his  , ever-flowing  skin.

 Gregor.. too a few steps towards the  water  and  another  wave  attacked him.. he ran back his tail dragging, looking  distrustfully  at the water... but   his  head  darting at  all the people  and LArry prancing about.

Finally!  The beach!!!! It was a manmade marvel to behold!  True, artificial sun.. but it was a beach.  They had it all se up in a tropical theme.  Atleast no one had to worry about tsunamis or sharks, jellyfish, and nasty things  From the looks of it, they groomed and combed it atleast daily.  "Well.... I got a couple of big towels to use" She took off her shoes where the cement met the sand.  "Okay Haley, need to take off your shoes, hon.  Be easier to walk on the sand." She watched as Haley sat and took off her running all purpose shoes, and socks.  Shoving her socks in the shoes she handed them to Nikki.  Both went into their bag.  Nikki looked to Joseph as Haley moved to get up.  "Shall we find a place?  Then Haley and I will find a cabana to change" She looked about "How about over there?  Looks quieter and close to the water"
Haley stepped carefully onto the sand "Feels weird"
"Well, Its sand punkin'.  Not dirt or mud.  Bit gritty right?"
Haley nodded as they moved to find a spot
"Look...It's Mister Shadow and some of the others!" Haley pointed at some as they too were getting comfortable "Nikki?  What is that thing Mister Shadow is with?" Nikki looked at him playing with Larry "Well... That is a creature called a Larg.  He can kind of understand what you say.  That one in particular is called Larry.  They can be mean, but Larry is a nice one and a Hermes crew person...so if you need help you can go to him too.  Just be gentle....you know, no tail pulling and such"

Mortica laughed at the little pup's antics and slipped off her boots and rolled up her leggings before stepping into the water. "Come on little on. It won't hurt you and I'll be right here for you to come back to if you want." She held her hands out to him.

 Gregor  took a few steps, but the next  wave came  and  he scuttled  back  as fast  as he could, turning to  hiss  at the  water.

  ..he  tried  sneaking up on the water....


    Larry   tried to  Jump on Shadows  Back,  But the LC used the   Larg's Mass against Himn  Twisting his body to   have  LArry  get dunked again..

   then  Both   Girls    Dove at  Him,  Flores  Hit him Low , Beth Hit Him   Hi, , beth  was Launced  over     his  shoulders  into the  deep..   Flores  Got    Dunked  and   Held  Under for a Second   until Shadow got Untangled.. Flores     popped up shaking her  hair  and  laughing,

 Beth was  swimming abck in..   Larry Popped up , out of the water    near Mortica.. the minature'poodle' sized  Larg    charged  and  Jumped at the  pony sized  Larg and   latched on to Larry's  shoudler.. Larry's eyes  titled  towards the little larg  as it   Burbled away  as  it  tried to   claw the  monster from the  deep.

  then Larry shifted his  eyes  to  Mortica.. and went under water..

 The wee  bestie     zipped through the water   like an eel  and was   soon  on the  sand.. Hiss ign  and   standing up..until the way got him again.

Mortica was nearly bent double with laughter as she watched Gregor 'attack' Larry and then get pulled under by the bigger larg. She clapped when Gregor swam back to her as if born to the water and clapped her hands. "I knew swimming would come naturally to you! Attack the water, Gregor!" She reached down and splashed some water on him.

"Go get Larry again!" She reached down and picked up some wet sand and starting forming it into a ball which she held behind her back until Shadow came back up then she let it fly right at him.

  Larry  had  his eyes   sticking out of the  water.. bubbles  coming from his   nose,  then   Gregor.. stepped  to the  water.. he lowered  his head   and  went  in.. slipping around   unlit he popped  up beside Larry  and   Climbed on the  bigger LArg's  head Loooking around at all the people in the  water.

 Shadow came over,  and Got Pelted with the sand  Ball,  He chuckled... ..You';re  Lucky.. If  it was Night, i chuck you into water!..wait?.. can you guys go in water..or  you can't cross  running water?..something like that..

 He sat   down his sides  heaving , the  Girls Came out posing at the    squeezed water  from their hair... whether they posed for Shadow or the other  scores  of guys, only they knew.

 then there was a Hiss  as LArry and   the little  larg vanished under water  again.

 ..So?.. Shadow?.. drinks?

 Yeah,,get something for everyone, charge it to my room... meanwhile the largs played.. Larry would  Popped.up, his  head darting about , trying to  find the little one.. . then  Gregor   would  be 'tossed out onto the Sand..  and they would do it again.

 Shade Bleeped  as he  got up to head to the blankets,..yeah?  I know Buddy... atlest 3..has to be more... no big deal, they're just watching for now.
