  Simms  and  Nikki settle thier VAns  down at the entrance to the   Slavers   Tunnels.

   Garrat, Zob, Mortica and Ma-ti…  Nikki , Stoly Robbins and Rolfe.. as  well as a total of 13 GAngers ( counting thier   two leaders. )

 They have agreed  to co9mbine thier Gang, and  will help  Garrat  on this one mission.

  The  Older Man  moves to teh   Lid...what is unsettling... is there are no guards  , either  his people  joined in the  attack as well.. or he pulled his people  in, until the Dust settles ..these are the standard  tunnels,.. they will run the length of the  Stem.. with cross  overs   in the  same areas as the streets..There are three levels.... the  bottom level...well.. no one goes there.. and the ones that do..never  come back....  way above us.. there  are the same type of tunnels... but they are , pretty Clean..

 As the fellow gets ready to opens the  hatch, the woman says,what we know?.. he  foregoes a compound... he built  a base, of sorts below... when he has shipments coming in, or goign out, he makes a deal with one of the compounds..  She  started  to   snort as she  choked on her Soda.. Gasping as she tried  not  to laugh...

 At this  time  The SEC  Troopers  were landing  by the   crashed  truck.. they began to   pick up  weapons  and scan  the dead  folks, stacking them up like cordwood.  Other troopers   began to search the cargo, and  gather  and   'loose  ' cargo that was lying about.

   Garrat pulls open the hatch "Well let's go introduce ourselves." He drops a c10 charge and then a smoke flare.

   The   others   run away from the opening  as the C-10 is  dropped  and Goes  of  The dec  stakes     Dust is lifted of the  ground a few inches.

  a couple Stemmers  Pop out of Nowhere..  Robbins  , just waves them away and they run ..

  Going  down the  rungs  there   see  soem smaller Bodies that were caught in the Blast, the weapons they   had broken.

 The  Tunnels are Standard  ESN  tunnels,  round  about  6.5 feet from dec to ceiling and 3 yards  wide.. the lights here were  shattered now.. only  dim  emergency lights .

  This  interception will go the whole way across to the starboard side.. and  intersect  the Three  maid tunnels  that follow the   Main streets. There  should be  intersections like this  every block... the  woman said.

 Stoly   looked around,we got a small army here.. what do yu wanna do?

Zob thought about it for a moment, "For now lets stay as a group and will figure out who goes where at the first intersection, maybe there is a clue there that can help us" trying to figure out who goes where at the moment when we have little to no clues just wasn't gonna happen.

"Look for clues and markings.  In a maze one thing is to make special markers." she was thinking of the old 'trail blazers' back on Earth.  Marking trees so they could find their way back home

   “Agreed on both.” Garrat looks at the small bodies.  This really has to end.  “It is inefficient to have the entrance to a slave smuggling ring to far from where you put the new slaves.  Moving uncooperative stock isn’t easy.  The way into the heart of the operation should be near.”

"I'll take point. My senses should pick up on sounds or smells that could direct us before others see them." Mortica raised her rifle to her shoulder and started moving down the tunnel, her every sense alert-a Vampic in search of prey.

    A large  truck settle s down at the crash site. 20 Delta Fleet , drop ship  troopers deployed , Setting up  heavy Pulse   guns  and snipers.

 workers  began to   load the cargo into the Truck.. while  the Marines and SEC troopers  watched  for attacks.

 Flores    came  down  , picked up  Shadow  and  Hodden as the  sat drinking soda.

 Mortica's  nose  and  lungs  were  effected  a bit  by the  Dust picked up from the explosion.. and the smoke from the  smoke grande...  As they neared the next intersection.

  by the  time the reached  the    first  intersection,  , both passages  looked like they have been used...lots of  footprints  in the Dust...human.. and other wise...

"Too much dust and smoke down here for me to smell anything," she said quietly over comms. "I'm not hearing anything but us - there are a lot of footprints down both passages."

"Well.." she said from about the 4-5th in the line up.  "..I can try some old fashioned tracking, Earth style.  But I am not the greatest at it" but she was willing to give it a shot.

     “ no problem with you taking the lead, if I come in second with the heaviest as I’ve got the heaviest armor, and if anything happens you get behind me.  I have the fire power to hold things at bay who Zod can come up from third position because he’s the one with the better acuracy.  He’s  big enough to  take a hit .  Robbins     looks around.. the smoke  behind  them hung in the  still air... there was the Thumping  of  power As the  generators  fed  Power  cells  from  Solar panels.. other  wise  there wasn't much  noise.. save  for   angry squeaks  way down the Northern tunnel.

 ..which  way ..man?..I don't like this.... I feel like the  tunnels are gonna cave in on us..

Stoly snorts.... i can't even tell you, the massive number of light  years away , Earth is... and... I can't  tell you..how many away from us..Hel is?  But I do knw they are there.. and  we do know the Skith and  Qarl have  a whole chuck of space of thier own.. out  that way... now?.. you take all that space?... I have never met one god..nor..has  anyone mentioned meeting  one?... so?.. I think that is the least of our problems

 Niki Looking at  the tracks  seems   paw  prints, some  bigger then her hand, But rodent-like.. the rest of the  prints  are booted  feet..or small bare feet, like a child's

Nikki held light to carefully look at the tracks.  "Human boot and foot prints go that way.  Other print..goes that way...not too sure what it is but bigger than a stray cat" she points the directions.  She also did not want to think about what the goop was it was placed in either, other than it was probably 'less fresh' than what she had been in earlier.  "Garrat...this is your mission ...which do you want to follow?"

"Since the majority of prints to in this direction it seems that's the most sensible direction for us to go. What do you think, Garrat?" Mortica asked without turning around so she could keep an eye on the tunnels.

She nodded.  "Big ass rats" she said in a low voice.  Still she began leading through the tunnel, following the tracks and more subtle clues of passing though.  She was also on the alert for other things as well such as booby traps and security systems.

 with Mortica and Nikki in the lead.. they headed  to the   east.. the passage ways here, were Indeed ...much 'cleaner' , from foot tradffic.

  ... The  woman looked at the next intersection,we are Under  Middle Main..  this  intersetion goes back down towards  that wreck site.. or  east  towards , Starboard side Main... and North.. lead up Middle Main... The   chances of   The Lizard  being   North is  greater then East...

 One of the  younger adult ganger said.....ain't never been there?  But  there was these two runners   we caught  from the  Brown Daggers?   they said the  Lizard took  5 of thier   friends... says he has a big area   he  keeps  his people  and his trade goods  in... Mortica held her position and waited for the decision to be made as to which direction to go. She may have been the ranking officer here but she was on Garrat’s op and wasn’t about to take over. She respected the big man and was grateful for his overtures of friendship and advice.
