 For the Vid on the rec Dec... I picture KArson, being that guy talking at the beginning and End of the Vid.

Man...yesterday was a LONG day.  I had two different corporate events I was doing makeup for (had to make a zombie and a killer clown at one, then make four more zombies at the other).  I know this won't be that appalling to our dear GM, given his career field...

But I got up at 6am Halloween morning to load up my car and make it to my first gig by 7:30am.  I got home twelve hours later...and then had trick or treaters (actually had some, this year!) and worked on a costume until 2am (not a Halloween costume...working on an adaptation of the flight suits from Space: Above and Beyond.  I'd like to do the real thing, but the chest protectors that they used for the pilots have been out of production for ages...so, I'm using a different chest protector, but it's painted, as best I can, to look like it's the same material as the ones in the show.)

And tonight, I'm loading THREE movies at the movie theater...half of what we're showing ends this week!  I feel exhausted...

 My horde of  Grandkids had  all manner of  costumes.. Paw Patrol..witch..SWAT guy..pink power ranger and  spider  Gwen with a  very tight suit.. I think an adult Version would look like the real thing!

 Down South my DAughter  who's  husband passed away in Aug ( killed himself..which was a good thing, cause I would have..) She does outstanding  face painting... her oldest daughter  was painted  like a cat.. she posted  some stuff of other kids  she pained.. made her self a sleeping bauty costume  and   fixed the little baby up as a wolf...

 Oldest Son  down FLA worked   with folks at a  haunted house  and  had  some real neat MAkeup as a Zomie  and   'butcher  slasher' Ghoulish type.

 But you know what?... Now were  did I see.. not One ' Shadow...Admiral  Hack...Spencer.. Beth  ect ect.. or? even a Demon.. Largran ect ect... you'd think afte 6 + years  it would catch on!

*grin*  Well...I don't think I'd make a very convincing Roy...what with facial hair and a ponytail and all.  Just not a very convincing image of a Marine, you know?  *laugh*

It was peaceful round our way although I did see some people wandering round in costume as I came home from the station. There again I get home gone 7pm so they might have been out earlier. Anyway, it's not a custom I like, especially when you get people from out of the neighbourhood... just about tolerate people I know, but strangers? Nope.

Did like Space: Above and Beyond, though. Fun show.

  was it a year  ago? or more we talked  about that?.. I ordered the DVD set for the show... still don't like how it ended... they should have  made one more show to tie off loose ends.

   where I live..used to be a coalmining town outside  a small town of Windber  PA.... our area  is ( was) called Mine 40..locvals  still refer to the mining towns.. but the more new folks that come in..or younger kids  growing up..don't know ..Mine 40...Mine 42, Mine 35 ect ect.

 anyway..I live  right down at the end of the last street (3rd) near what used to be the playground..not much on there anymore... Mine still owns the land..and Boro is kinda cheap.. played  1000's of fooball games down there... anyway... if you look it up on Google maps.. you'll see my house and the playground... that playground was full of cars on Halloween as people from around us , including Richland ( the anme is right.. lots of Doctors  and such there now, as the mills and mines are replaced with  hospitals, and offices...

 anyway.. across the street, I guy I grew up with, we also worked in the same factory until it closed and I moved on to me a Lettercarrier... he  and his wife, joined  her father in being Carney food  people.. they have a few of the trailers  in the back of their  yard...every Holloween  the wife sets up  her smaller  stand and gives out bags of cotton Candy to the  kids..which?.. word has gotten around over the years.. so everyone  comes down to my house..so they can cross the street to get Cotton Candy.. this year,w as the worst, by  far.. the whole playground was covered in cars.. it looked like an aircraft carrier!

Last night ended VERY late (didn't get out of the theater until 4am).  Heading to work now, I'll try and post while I'm there....

no hurry.. get rest... there are something that need done ( or..not get done!) so I know how things are gonna go!

 for   all the PCs..and myself?  this is the time , that will decide a lot of stuff.. I hope Garrat can make it back soon....Justin should be coming back shortly as well.

 right now?.. for the game..everyone is  aboard the Hermes.

 The  folks RL is holding  back will be able to step in some where , but everyone else  shoudl  use the time to RP  what you want to do, and get5 familiar with the ship and other  PCs..and NPCs.

 with weekends  being a bit slower then normal.. I look to  have us cast off on Monday... but may be sunday night , depending on the RP.

Sorry, all...I just realized I didn't give any kind of heads-up that I was out of town all weekend (still out of town until Tuesday afternoon/evening).  I do have access, yes...but when you're on a Vegas trip with friends, other things take precedence...*grin*
