 State of the GAme...

   As  Have stated  before.. Melia and the other  characters  for that player will be sued  as NPCs, at least unti  the  end of the year. Then we will send  them off...in hopes.. that somewhere down the road  the player  can return.

   GArrat, in the past, has had some computer  Issues  and  RL concerns. He  is a Vet of the game and  was very active..so we will keep him in until we hear from him.

  Cookie is  helping out some  folks  who  are in a bad  way, In RL..and? to be fair...Cookie has  her  share of RL concerns as well... we will have her in the backround as well.

  Jesse has taken a step back from RPOL for  a bit... she is off  on a mission.

  We'll place Garrat in the boarding parties  in hopes he'll be there for the upcoming jump off.

 Over the course of   these 6+ Years..there has been times when we lost great players...or  RL limited  time for them... but we push through the best we can..Thanks again for Playing, and making this  one of the best games on the site!

Back home...no money lost to gambling, but I do owe a small fortune for show tickets, meals, etc.  Nobody shot anyone while I was there, so in that regard, it was blissfully still (Vegas is never ACTUALLY still...it can be three in the morning and there are still people wandering around Fremont Street.  Probably even worse on the Strip, but I've never been down there at 3 am).

Most excitement (in an unpleasant sense) of the trip did, in fact, happen on Fremont Street.  One of our group was in one of the souvenir shops...a few others went in to talk to her, the rest of us were outside.  The light show started, so I took a few steps to a position where I could see it better, assuming (foolishly, it turned out) that since three or four people were looking in my direction when I moved, they'd know where I was and come grab me when they headed to the next destination...

Light show ended, and I turned around...and everyone was gone.  I knew the name of the bar they were heading to...but not the location.  And my phone was dead just before we left our AirBnB to head to downtown Vegas, so I left it plugged in there...which meant I couldn't get in touch with them, they couldn't contact me...the one saving grace was, since I don't drink, they gave me the car keys.  I waited at the shop for, like, twenty minutes or so.  It was getting cold, shops were closing up, the crowd on Fremont started looking less like pedestrians and more like people who'd set a tourist up to be pick-pocketed...I didn't see anyone...so I walked back to the car, got in, leaned the seat back, and closed my eyes.  Not sure how long I was dozing before one of the guys in the group tapped on the window.  They'd gotten to the bar and started drinking before anyone realized I wasn't there, so he came looking for me.

After that, it became a running joke..."Everyone's got their phone with them, right?"  "Does anyone know where Curtis is?" (as I'm standing right beside the one asking...)

But it was a lot of fun.  I'd do it all again in a heartbeat, given the chance (even getting separated from everyone on Fremont...would rather have gotten separated from the group backstage at Zumanity, but that would require the group to have gone backstage, first...)

  That sounds like an adventure...if you ever  do it again, it should be more fun, since you'd have had  experience

  and? as SM.. you know your COMs  should ready at all Times!

yeah? it s right for here? as of  the moment i am typing it says 8:23 as does my Cell and clocks?.. Your  post reads 11:31.

 Just an Update on the Time stamps?.... I asked about it in the forums.. and  went to edit a post to show the difference?

  on the new  link, the times were good!..so I deleted my old link and  have a new one..all the time stamps are good now.

 that doesn't worl... each time i close out..it comes back with  Greenisch time (0) on the main page...but..if i bring up another  link.. the time is right?..who knows?

hmm can't say I've ever noticed a difference in the time stamps before...though if it's running of GMT then I probably wouldn't

yeah? its  weird.. someone else  in the forums said it was happening to them.. its of that i have to get a fresh link, for it to work.

I probably would never notice...I rarely look at the time stamps on any of the posts...

And, regarding being separated from everyone...since I was the only one in the group that doesn't drink, I became Designated Driverby default, so I knew they'd have to come back and I wouldn't be left behind indefinitely.  But, lacking my phone, I not only had no way to contact them, but I also had no way to find the bar they were going to, and no way to get the address for our AirBnB.  It was more frustrating than anything...kinda gratifying to get back in for the evening and see the distressed text that got sent when they realized I was not at the bar with them.  Ultimately, though, as adventures go, it was pretty sedate.

Back on line.  Sorry guys.  Had trouble with net then getting enough time to get things taken care of.  Went to urgency care twice and emergency room once for family members in the last 48 alone.  Wish me luck on my annual review at work tomorrow.

though it seems like we are thinned out..all those involved in away teams should  post their load outs

 Pilots  can list load outs... but  keep in mind, we  only have boot knives and sidearms... any long arms, kits ect ect  will be in the  small cargo door  behins the   cockpit.. if anyone has to  'Pod out".. that compartment  goes with us, as it is part of the pod.

 I know its a bit early for most folks to post. But  I'll be updating Pregame, to keep us moving

 I have some errands  to run, should take   a few hours. Then I'll hit the boards  around 2:30..3:00 ( my time)
