 She lays down by his side as close as she can get, out of the way. She closes her eyes and seems to sleep but listens to what they are saying, and the tone of their voices.

   "I am surprised and happy that Vior decided to risk her people to join us in this endeavor.  I imagine it will indeed be a surprise to the Nivarians.  With Vior's permission, may I respectfully request to join one of their units as a sign of good faith and a means of assessing how their tactics could best compliment Our existing units."   Garrat did not say it was an extreme honor amongst his people to fight alongside those who were once a foe, nor did he mention he wasn't entirely sure they could trust the Hyrians and would rather warn the fleet with his life than stand back and watch it fall apart.  He also did wish to see the relationship he started between the AP and the Hyrians through to a good start.

   In a way, his request was quite selfish but it had the potential to help and he was confident Hack would pick up on his alternative motives and make the right call.  His apparent willingness to fight along side the Hyrians after initiating a trust in them could go a long way towards a positive relationship with them and other species that may wish to switch sides.

As Roy got the map on his comm, he opened it to examine the area they were supposed to attack, continuing to listen carefully as he looked at the terrain, trying to select vantage points that would give an advantage to snipers covering the Spook team and approaches to the base that would provide as much natural cover as possible.

He grimaced slightly at the announcement that the Hyrians would be joining the attack...it was a small ship, if they turned it would have minimal impact, but he'd envisioned a longer probationary period before they would be accepted as allies.  It wasn't his call to make, however...and he tried not to think about the EVOLs who'd joined them right before a battle...and turned.  Or the cavalry troop that had joined them during a battle...and turned.  The timing of the announcement was...unfortunate.

He looked up when he heard Garrat's name called, and waited to see what the question was.  His eyebrows raised slightly in surprise at the request...and he waited to hear the response, mentally shuffling boarding teams around with the different prospects created.

  As Garrat  spoke, The Admiral pursed his lips and turned to   the screen that still held  Vior's  visage .

    Beofre you answer that question,,CAptain Vior...are you sure this is the wisest course for you people? we are not sending you to a comfortable  palce, you will have to help Carve out the land, in the Area that was  alotted to you...it will not be an easy task...20,000 people...warriors ...could be a damn big difference.

 ..The Occui, and Sanri, over saw out  people being loaded...Indeed..some of the regime  tried to escape..but the Sanri scanners cuaght them, and they were sent back...

 ...  Then?... you will send  half of your shuttles  down, to where out Transport Drop shuttles  are being staged.... the other half  will be in resevre... of the half you send  down..you will send half of those up...to reload,,and wait... should things   get bad,.,  your troops  who cannot  fit on your shauttles, we  mount up on out trasnport shuttles and we will get them back to you..

 ..Have one unitn of your troops  find  out  Boarding shuttle's LZ... there ,, they can link up with SGT GArrat, and he can decide if he still wishes to join...that unit  willalso be briefed by the SGT MAj..and be under his  command...the rest of  your troops, will attack,, whne  the rest of ours  are called in as well...

   Garrat nods gravely to the Admiral, "Thank you sir." then turns to Vior.  "I can't run as fast as one of my own species of human."  He taps his metal leg, a smile tugs at the corner of his mouth. "But my legs are much longer than your average Hyrian...and I've run with packs before."

  .Well , then? It seems like everyone is ready.

 He nods to  Beth and she begins to shut down the feeds to the toehrships, so she can go to the HAnger Dec and begin the setup  the 'war  room'. stage.

  WC?... i'll leave  the Fighter  wing to you...Each ship will be acting  on its own, we have some  fighters  that will be rotated in for a random strafe run...but?.. Ship to ship battles  could  change that.

  Understood, Admiral... All piltos   meet at my fighter  Berth 20 minutes  before  launch... that gives you.......32 minutes..15 seconds on my mark.......MARK!
 he  sets his  COM, leaving the  room ( grabbing another  doughtnut on the way out)

  Hack looked at Shade,..you will have a choice, Shade... You can remain in the warroom area.... or you may retire  and watch over Orria and your Lonnox  friend..

 Even as they speak, there  are  COM Techs  and  Orange clad crewmen, setting up the scaffolding  and Vid  screens in the Hanger Dec.

Roy nodded, primarily to himself, and finalized crew rosters for the assault shuttles.  Some of them might raise eyebrows, he realized, but he decided he'd deal with that when and if it happened, rather than worry about it now.

Jesse caught the tail end of everything and she quietly slipped into the room and found a near empty spot without bothering any one near Doc and Mila.  She gave them a silent nod as she got closer.

She quietly listened to what was left to be said.  She felt like an idiot not realizing this was a breakdown of the next mission.

 "Yip!" She thumps her tail at Jesse and grins at her doggy style. She waggles her eyebrows up at Jesse.

Henry noticed the tail thump and turned to see Jesse.

"Not to worry, this was a very high-level overview. We have already been told more about what we'll be doing than was said here, Jesse."

Jesse gave a nod of silent acknowledgement.  Her hand went down to Mila's head and gently stroked it from top to nape.

Didn't know if there were any additional information that I might hear that may help us out, she said.  I've been a bit amiss on my cognitive thinking of late. 

She raised a hand to stop Henry.  I'll be ok.  Just got to get out of my funk.  This mission should be a good start to that.

 She came in and found a seat to sit in and listen to whatever this meeting was supposed to be about. She didn't see Melia so she sat alone.

 She gets bored and curls up to sleep.

  COMs were sent out  to Many Members of the   crew to Report to the  Mission room ( in the back of SEC )...

  Admiral Hack entered  the   SEC  in  normal Duty Uniform... Beth Got up from her Desk  and  Followed Him back, as Did  Lyri.

  Shadow entered as well..Shade   came in  with him.

 Shoey and  Maria brought a few boxes  of doughnuts as well...

Justin arrived for the Briefing, after making a mug of Java he positioned himself at the back of the room in one of the corners. Sipping on his brew Justin greeted each of the arrivals with a friendly wave or nod.

Roy drifted over to the Mission Room from his office in the Security Area, after Hack arrived, coming in just behind Beth and Lyri.  He took a spot next to the Admiral, somehow managing to look relaxed and ready for action at the same time.  "Lots of housekeeping, this time around?" he asked, idly, with a grin on his face.  His expression indicated that he wasn't really expecting a detailed answer...more just passing time while waiting for the rest to arrive.

Summoned, Henry turned up with Mila trotting beside him, swishing her tail.

   Hack Smiles  at Roy's Comment,we will be doing  at Etna, what we should have done  at Olympus... we failed there..and that's the truth of it. But  we now have the Head of SEC and the  Commanding Officer  of the station, on our  side... so we  may be able to clean a bit better... but we still have to use our heads.

  Beth  taps a few times on her  Vid Board, and  the screens  come on  One showing  Richards  and   Elge..another  that has the Board, who are in the war room..

 Lana?  Elge?   how are the  plans going thus  far...

 Richards  spoke first,...we  slapped down the Civie  hangers  on... there will be alot of them at the Ball.. we  are stating that  people wear uniforms, or Dress semi-casuel .. .. the    Ball will..again..be in the HQ... we have made some chages there as well.. and will be ready when you arrive.......

 Elge  speaks then,..Thus  Far, Comrade Admiral.. we have   vetted  about 1/3 of the SEC, one way or the other.... Some   have been kept .. those who are not...how you say..clean? Have been shipped  to  Transport bases  as   replacement troopers... some..very bad ones..have had ...'accidents".

 he looks at a Vidboard   and says while he reads,..we , of course..have disbanded the old  Board...  we have invited them, and others  to attend, to  meet  the rest of us, and make thier ...pitch.. to why they should be  on the Board... As you have anticipated , all the former Board members  will attend....execpt ..one..

You are... most wise....We have shut down, any attempts  for board members and shut to withdrawn credits from  Etna accounts... the  excuse is  for  'tracking Cred  flow".. thus  far..every board Member has tried to get in.... two Hired Hackers.... sadly..those  two Hackers  will enevr hack again...Terrible accidents...

 Commander Si  had  just walked in  and gave  Shadow a playful whack on the shoulder  at his use of words.

 Ahh, Shadow My friend.... The..um..wife.. of Sevente, left  the station to check on  three transports that  were unloading Goods... she never  came back.. the transports  are still there... but she is not on them? There was a Mull Corvette, that left about that time.. it was logged for heading to Anzio... but... last know  track shows it veered off and is ehading towards the Asteroid Filed..

Taking a seat within the mission room Harry would quietly listen as the Admiral discussed the situation concerning Etna and it's board with a small smile briefly appearing on her lips in response to Shadow's outburst concerning Mrs Sevente "May I be the first to say how unfortunate it would be if that corvette was attacked by pirates...what with it being in such a remote location so far away from any ESN patrols" Harry said in a voice that almost sounded sympathetic to the plight of Mrs Sevente should such a catastrophe befall her. Arranging accidents had always been her preferred method of dealing with problems as opposed to out and out violence as it tended to attract little to no attention from the police, not to mention the fact that it was hard to justify violent retribution for someone being killed or arrested due to bad luck...especially if you didn't know who was responsible.

With her piece said Harry would once again fall silent as she awaited the Admiral to begin the briefing.

  Hack smiled  a  bit, his nod  seemed to be one of approval  as he gave a sidelong  glance  at  Harry.

  Grit    cleared his throat to  look at her, Shadow said in a whisper,..don't  get squeamish now  , Grit..... these things get real messy  some times... the only difference here... is we aren't in a nice  comfy cockpit  watching an  aircraft Vanish..or  ..watched   a bunch of  dirt fly up into the air, along with body parts  as we zoom over...?

 Grit  looks at  Shadow , as  the LC takes a bite of  a doughnut   as he winks..Shade  leans over  , lookign at HArry and Grit  , giving a thumbs up.

 Hennings  and  Bale from thier  place in the war room  listen, Hennings   gives an easy going smile.... some of you ...newer..folks  will see, this war has many fronts....and not all fronts  can be fought, in the normal  Military manner...so?.. we cheat.. we clear the board of  as many of the enemies  pieces as we are able...not only  does this hamper their   movements? But it  also  Gives them something  else to worry about.

Muri had been summoned to the briefing room.  However, she didn't go there directly.  Instead, she made a pit stop to her quarters to get cleaned up and change clothes.

She didn't really think it appropriate to show up smelling of sweat to a briefing.

She arrived just as the meeting was about to start.

Judging by the mostly appraising looks she received for her comment, with Grit being the only notable exception, she was on the right track as to the sort of work she'd be doing, and although she couldn't make out what was said some kind of moment had certainly passed between Grit and Shadow prompting her to offer the pair a curious look. She hoped that Grit would be ok with what they had signed up to do, more importantly she hoped that he wouldn't be put off when she revealed who she really was, as she was more than a little fond of him.

It was as she was returning Shade's thumbs up gesture with one of her own and a smile that Hennings would explain how they couldn't solve every problem through conventional means "Which is where we come in I assume?" Harry asked, briefly glancing up to see the new Felrite girl she'd seen the other day enter the room "Out of interest, how many names require crossing off our little list?"

  Hack Looked  around the Rooms,  some of   the SEC people were there as were Sipe and a couple  other Boarding  party people.

 Hemlsy and   KArson  were lookign at a DAta  path with some things  KArson had  been working on, when not on the Rec Dec.
