"Trust me.  The massage will do you good.  Pedicure will too.  Your feet being in boots most of the time, this will help with nails trimmed so they don't poke, soles not feel rough, and taking out hangnails and anything that might contribute to stinky feet and ingrown toenails...BONUS!" She raised hand in excitement.  "They can get rid of unwanted body hair like your back or chest IF you like.  For me meaning unwanted leg hair..." she leaned up close to him and had a leg move along his as she whispered "Or a bikini wax?  maybe leave a bit of a landing strip in case I get laid in the dark" she then kissed him and stepped in after laying her towel down on a stool.  Her back to him she dropped the robe that was still out of the water from the big tub, letting it slide off her shoulders showing her back to him, then letting it slide outside the immediate tub area, dry on the floor.  "Coming in?" she smiled and winked coyly at him over her shoulder.  She could not think of a better 'Come hither' sign.

 Mitch's head  hung  down...well.. the good thing?... Climbing in the  torpedo plane and heading  out after  a ship that looks like a Blue whale on steroids, won't seem so bad.... I don't think i'm going to enjoy the foor thing...sheesh...and I don't have back hair!

  Mitch  slipped into the water.....he  felt  very awkward.

She giggled then slowly entered the bubbling effervescing tub, coming to rest next to him.  some of her hair got wet and swirled along her shoulders "I think you'll enjoy this.  we're booked for the next ninety minutes or so...and there is no waxing.  We are going to soak and let the bubbles draw out impurities" she snuggled a bit against him as a young girl came and opened a box with several vials in it.  Each was labelled.  "Fun part hear is they can add some scented oils to the water.  Personal favorite is ylang ylang blossoms and orchids.  however I think that is too flowery for you.  Ooo,  how about 'Golden Willow'? It is crushed Japanese willow bark and arctic lichens" She opened the vial to sniff. It was a gentle pleasant aroma to make one think of winter woodlands and crisp snow.  She let Mitch smell it "Smell clean and not overpowering.  What do you think not to feminine and not to masculine" she capped the vial and handed it back to look at others "See of smell one you like?  do remember I am not getting out of this tub smelling like avgas and diesel petroleum" she teased.

Clinking her glass against Lizzy’s, Izzy would smile as she took a drink enjoying the flavour of the wine that Lizzy had picked out, and how it went so wonderfully with their meal. With Lizzy agreeing that the food was good, with her commending the cab drivers recommendation, Izzy would giggle as she added ”also unlike the uppers I won’t have to take out a mortgage to pay for all of this!” although she was pretty sure she had some back pay due to her.

Once they had finished their mains, with Izzy offering Lizzy a taste of her noodle dish, Izzy would get the waitresses attention so that they could both order dessert, with Izzy eager to see if the Burian desserts were as good as the waitress had claimed them to be. It was after much deliberation and more than a little indecision that Izzy would settle on a fruit tart served with the Burian equivalent of custard ”So any plans on how to spend tomorrow morning? Part of me wants to see if I can find an optician and get a pair of frames that are just a little more stylish than these…then again spending the morning in bed is also rather appealing” she said with a giggle as she waited for her dessert to arrive.

She looked at Mitch "City boy" she teased "Diesel is a type of petroleum fuel.  they use it often for machinery and in factories.  The Arabs in the Oil Baron lands make and trade it" She gave the rundown on it.  She reached over him to tap on te willow she had . a few moments later the girl poured a bit into the water.  The feeling of being in a cool boreal forest wash over her and the smell of mountainous air wafted about them.  An older lady came with a small bottle and two glasses (chilled) on tray with 4 large chocolate covered strawberries on a heart shaped plate was set up on a stand for them.  the lights were dimmed, and smaller more romantic ones left on and simple pleasant mood music began. As Mitch poured the champagne Nikki got a bit more comfortable.  The bubbly was a recent vintage and quite good, as were the berries.

 Lizzy smiled as she ate, it was extremely good, Lizzy replied to Izzy," Yes the prices are not bad but so far it is worth it can't wait to try the desserts. Lizzy just asked the waitress to bring their best sugary amazing dessert. Lizzy smiled and took another sip of wine.

 Lizzy thought for a second," Recall is at 8 am I believe have to be on ship by 10 am not sure if we will have time for anything but sleeping in having fun till we have to go sounds good."

Time seemed to move slowly for the couple in the bubbly fountain as they sipped the champagne and ate the chocolate covered strawberries.  soon the lights began to turn at least partially up, and the soft romantic tones faded to distant windchimes.  The concierge woman was there along with the gentleman who helped Mitch into the bath.  The clear blue water now turned a sea glass green.  Still smelling of an alpine lake and wood the bath did its' job of drawing out impurities.  "That was very relaxing, don't you think Mitch?" as she put the robe back on once out of the water.  Carefully making sure her weapons were still in the towel she picked them up to follow to one of two tables.  Mitch led to the other.
Laying atop on their stomachs with their heads on soft pillows and faces peeking out a hole that was in the table the robes were removed.  Nikki readjusted her weapons and such from the towel to the robe she had.  Her towel then draped over her buttocks as Mitch's was done for him.  Now the tough work began, deep tissue massage.  Nikki having at least 2 before it was not so bad.  Mitch, well... it was interesting to hear the creaking and popping his body was making and hearing his long exhales of relaxing as the massage did its' work.  Both had a male and female masseuse work the kinks and knots out.  "Feels nice, doesn't it?" she reached out and with a few fingers hooked Mitch's.

 Once they changed clothes  and freshened up, Val and Henry hailed a cab from the   pad, telling the driver to take them to the Uppers.

 Val asked the Cabbu if there were any eating spots  near the   Lab...

  Well, Lady? there are lotsa  labs  up there....You got one  for  grain and such...one for other foods..and there  are labs they rest   and breed animals with, some of them have  Pens on Matterhorn Mount?..there is  fish  stuff inside, and Under the Labs..I think the labs go have  way down  They are working on crossbreedign  Burian  Cows  with Astra
 cows. to get more  meat from the Astra  side, and better Milk from the  Burian side?

 anyway..the Building is near an  'German food  place" and on the other side, a Japanses  food  place.... a few Blocks away is a Burian food  place  and   a Nivarian place...

 Grunts  and a few  'dammits"  and  some angry huffs.  came as thing  popped in  Mitch's Back....Ok?  If  i wanted beat up, I could have gone drinking  where  some   Headsman man crew  were drinking  and got into a fight where  i could hit back!

"Mitch, it is a deep message... not torture" she gave a soft giggle "Can't wait until he grabs your ass there.  This is all going to help the flow of spinal fluid.  If you don't relax this is gonna take longer for you" The man helping her back hand hands on her shoulder blades and his thumbs burrowed in her shoulder blades just then in deep circles.  The woman started on her thighs and calves.

Giggling in her now characteristic manner Izzy had to admit that although she wanted them to do things together like shopping, long walks in countryside and romantic dinners, that spending the morning in bed was rather appealing. With the arrival of the desserts Izzy’s eye’s would go wide as she tried what had to be best fruit tart she’d ever tasted ”oh my god this is amazing…Lizzy you’ve got to try this!” Izzy said holding out a piece of the tart on her fork for Lizzy to try with it becoming increasingly clear that the waitress hadn’t been exaggerating when she said that Bura was known for its desserts.

Henry and Val headed off towards the Uppers, looking for a nice restaurant.

 Lizzy smiled at Izzy knowing she wanted to do lots of things on Matterhorn, but they didn't have a lot of time. Lizzy just wanted to spend as much time with Izzy as she could. Then the desserts came and hers was absolutely amazing, " Yes Izzy mine is so good as well, damn they know how to make desserts." Lizzy tried a bite of Izzy's tart, and it was very good, and Lizzy offered Izzy a bite of her dessert special.

 Lizzy then said," It isnt too late you want to head back to the beach for some night fun?"

”hmm now that is good” Izzy said, her eyes lighting up and when she tasted the sumptuously light and fluffy sponge on the end of Lizzy’s fork agreeing wholeheartedly that Burian’s knew how to make a good dessert and feeling just a little disappointed that she was only able to sample one of them.

It was as they were enjoying their desserts that Lizzy would point out that they still had time to head back to the beach afterwards if they wanted to with Izzy nodding her in agreement ”sure, though we may want to lose the heels when we get there” she said wanting to avoid broken ankles and just a little uncertain as to what Lizzy meant by “night fun” but curious to find out nonetheless.

 Val walked with Henry wondering  which  eatery he would  choose, the Labs  were in a  stylish  Builing, looking  almost , like stacked storage bowls.

 Matterhorn Mount  was behind them, looking a bit closer then it  should, the top  had some  snow, but the lower third  was grass and   dirt.

  Mitch   tried to soldier  through this. a Mix of embarrassment, being uncomfortable, and  feeling  helpless  was warring with  any  'good feelings'.

 I think you can  do this` on Ladies  night or somethng..

 Lizzy smiled and the desserts were very good," Yes, it is and yours is so yummy too, maybe we can get some for takeout?" Lizzy smiled as she finished her dessert.

 Lizzy replied to Izzy," Oh yes do you want to change before we go back to the beach, or do you just want to call it a night and have fun?"

She would consider Lizzy’s suggestion for all of three seconds before replying ”Take out sounds good to me” more than happy to sample more of the desserts the Burians had to offer them. When asked if she wanted to change Izzy would shake her head, replying ”no I just think it would be better if we went bare foot, heels and sand don’t really mix…besides taking a walk on the beach would be a nice way to end the evening” smiling as she caught the waitresses attention so that they could get another pair of desserts to eat later with her then paying for the meal. Once the bill had been settled she would wait to see if Lizzy was ready before getting up to go somewhere else.

 Lizzy smiled and saw Izzy pay, and she would get the next one. Yes, takeout was good, they order another two desserts to take with them. " Yes, they were so good, wonder why Sam doesn't weigh 300 lbs. with these desserts." Lizzy then got up and when Izzy was all set Lizzy said," Ok let's head back to the beach, a nice moonlit walk on the beach sounds amazing, let's go shall we."

 Lizzy smiled at everyone at the restaurant and then took Izzy's hand and they left the building. Lizzy would wave down a cab and wait for Izzy to get in.

Henry eyed up the restaurants. He spotted one that sported an archaic Union flag that was called From Across the Black and which claimed to offer 'authentic English cuisine'. There also was an Italian and one offering Tex-Mex, oh, and a Thai one. The signature dish there was called Tiger Cry, which from the image was strips of beef, onion, and mung beans.

"What do you fancy? Shall we see if this place can do authentic English? Or would you prefer something else?"

 Val  looked around and said,.l.lyes? It has been a while since i had a proper english meal? we'll see how  close to the truth thier  signs  boast about!

 She   turned with Henry towards the Building

Henry held the door for Val and they went in. It was bustling, with the viaual effect of a British Pub. Servers in red and blue t-shirts were scurrying around and they were soon seated, menus in hand.

It offered things like fish and chips, Scotch eggs, steak and ale pie, shepherd's pie and roast beef.

"What do you fancy? I think I'd like fish and chips. It's something I've been missing."

”I suspect that would be due to the military rations and long runs we’re made to endure” Izzy said with a laugh having seen how much Sam could eat with seemingly no effect to her petite figure. With their take out safely stored in a vibrant green box with the restaurant’s name and logo on the top, Izzy would hail a cab and get it to take them back to the beach.

shorty thier drinks arrived..and the smell of   fod was over whelming.....Make me rather wish i was home....
