Wandering in, Nikki could not help but smell a little of the musty odor many old artifacts bring.  She smiled at the SGT as he was wandering out.  As Teela moved to deal with the proprietor she looked among the goods available.  She found a box with old dogtags, even a few CAT tags as well.  There was something that looked like a Prussian warriors helmet wi a slightly bent spike atop it.  Closer inspection she found it fake as she saw a stamp that had a serial number and the lettering for 'Made In Taiwan' on the inside of it.  She placed it back on the shelf she picked it up from.  Looking further she did find a pair of pants that were less than in fashion.  A khaki tan with multiple pockets.  Unfolding them it was obvious they were made for a much taller and larger person.  She politely refolded them and placed them back where she got them.  Other than that she merely listened in on Teelas conversation, making sure her companion did not get ripped off.

  There was a Civie..young guy about    20? ( who knows).. asked  about  seeing a Sanri Blaster.

  one of the store  folks  Opened  Up  a case, adn let him browse the   sidearms...he  Picked up  a Sanri  and held it   with both hands..

 son?.. you  holed it like that, it   will fly back and break your  nose...

 But i see it  in the Vids  all the time. He  holds it with one arm...even..

 The   worker  shakes his  head,..he  also  has  had  years of training... and i'm betting his arms  are thicker then yours...

 can I try it?

 a Sanri   enters  from the back.. and ESN Flag  serves  as the  'curtain'..The  clerk  give  the Sanri a power  Cell..

 The kid looked up at the 8  foot , four armed Humanoid... Sammy is goign to take the  gun..and the power cell into the Back.. we have a  range, of sorts back there... he will load the blaster.. you get two shots... The Sammy takes the  Gun back..if you want to  buy it.. you can get it back.... any attempt to do anything  other, then Hand  Sammie the weapon back?..could  cause you to have one less  head then you currently  have..

 The  Kid  followed the Sanri  into the back.

 ..yeah... this won't  end well...

Nikki looked at the kid.  Part of her wondered why he wanted that particular blaster.  Barely looked like he could shave.  She'd just keep an eye on the situation for the time being.

Upon entering the store Harry would take a moment to take in the collection of military surplus, alien souvenirs and unwanted military items sold by their owner's to make a quick buck. She pauses by a wall of medals and glances at the collection of awards that spanned several era's of conflict, military organisations and species. The vast majority were campaign medals and their alien equivalents, the rarer medals no doubt snapped up by collectors in private sales long before they ever reached the store though she did notice an old style Blue Max up in the top corner from one of the Mars campaigns.

As Teela spoke to the shop keeper about the item she was after Harry would move to examine the selection of alien souvenirs on offer to see if there was anything worth having, casting the kid with the blaster a wary eye as he went to test fire the weapon in a back room. With any luck the uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach would prove groundless, not that it stopped her easing out the first few inches of her Sanri combat knife just in case.

 a red  light next to the   door way lit up.. there  was the  sound  of Sanri Blaster... and    a Moan of   pain...

 shorty after   , the   Kid  was  , more or less carried  out, bu  his   collar.  the  Right side of his   face  Bruised, a bit of bleeding   Just  above the   eyebrow.

  Sammy the Sanri  Put the Blaster  on the counter  along with the  , ejected, powercell.....Kicked  Back.. knocked him  down.. he didn't even hit the wall..he hit the roof...

 The Clerk  Looked at the  Kid  and gave him a  pack of  derma Plast paste, to put on his   forehead,...Look?... Kid?... I don't know whether you are a settler..or  a Punk.. or you want to sign up  for the APF?... all i know is, i'm not  selling  you this thing.. its not made for humans...

 The Kid  took the   plast, bit the pack opened   as he   used the glass from teh counter   as a mirror  to put the stuff  on his head,..I seee the   Vids... there's a couple humans  who use them... and  he only uses   one   hand!

 ..that's   a bit of  a stretch there  kid... No humna  is going to use a SAnri blaster with  one  hand... maybe a Heavy weapons   Specilist .. but they would need to  be bigger   then most humans..

  yeah?.. well watch the Vids....

 ..screw the Vids   kid.. You   want to have some alien  weapon?  try the Creshian Blaster.. , Nice  smooth  Dash of  pulse  fire... hardly any recoil, and its   made for  smaller  hands..clas..pincer?. whatever?

 The clerk put  up the  weapon, Pod  shaped   body-barrel,  a wavy grip  and   fat trigger   guard.. the   trigger was a  button

Nikki just shook her head.  20+ years old and he thinks vids are real.  On that account he deserves the head wound alone.  She looked at Harry and nearly busted out laughing, but she kept it together and just shook her head again.

Teela shook her head at the rather foolish kid and continued looking in the area that she had directed to, hoping to find exactly what she was looking for.

As the kid continued to protest that not only had he seen humans firing blaster but that one guy actually fired it one handed, Harry would quietly groan as she put two and two together "Tell me kid...the guy in the vids that fires a blaster one handed, it's not LC Shadow perchance is it?" she asked, as she examined a Creshian knife before returning it to the display after deciding that the handle was better suited for claws than human hands "...because if so, yes he fires that thing one handed...but he couldn't hit the broadside of a battle cruiser with it unless it was parked right in front of him" she said with a smile having seen Shadow's shooting first hand "besides... what hell does a kid like you need a Sanri blaster for?"

  The   kid nodded his head,..Yeah!..Him!.. he   just  blows    stuff  away with that Blaster....

 The Clerk Looked at  Harry, then at the kid,..he can't fire it one handed.. he a gods be damned pilot!

 The Sanri laughed,..I bet its a Mock up... maybe its  a Mull blaster  witha   cover over the housing..

Her 'smirk' as it were went a bit wonky.  "But...why do you want to 'blow something away'?  Gangs bothering you or something?" if it was he'd better learn to use something he can handle, not something that just makes him 'look cool'.

  The   Kid  shook his head,..naw.. I am old enough to sign up?... My Dad doesn't want me in the MArines?... I don't have the Creds  for  academy.. The recruiter   says i  have skills  for a  Cook..or cargo loader?... but.. i figure.. if i  can  handle  some firepower.. they'll let me in the ships   SEC or  something?

 The Clerk had  two hands on the  CAse, and  then just hung his head and gave it a shake

Teela's voice drifted over from the part of the store where she was. "He's my WC, I've seen him fire it and it's real. Question about this...

"You do know people need to be fed, machines need repair, they need to talk to others, supplies are needed.  Takes a lot of brains as well as brawn for that" pointing out that not all is combat in the universe "I fly in combat...I am not a fighter pilot.  Hell...I ain't never gonna have a Blue Max next to my name.  But...I do know that what I do matters.  Picking up a weapon, don't impress many if you do not know how to use it.  So...use what you do know.  You'll impress more people that way" she offered as a suggestion. She sidled up next to Teela and looked over a few things

"Nikki is wise and has saved a lot of lives, young man. She's an incredible pilot and one I'd be glad to hear is on my six or coming to save me any day." Teela said, turning to look at the kid.

 The  Kid   Looked at the LAdies  .. he  was  just starting to understand what they were saying.... his  eyes  got big,..wait?.. WC?.... That  mean you guys  are from the Hermes!!! ohmygods..ohmygods..ohmygods..... I wish i could see her  up close!.. YOu Know    The LC.. is   he  really Cool...!...

 turnign and pointing at the Sanri  who backed up a space,see!  see!.. he fires it  with one hand... one  hand!!!

 The Clerk  Looked at the three ladies and gave them that 'thanks a lot ' look.

"He also has had training and practice" well as far as she knew "I do not believe he just picked it up and started firing it that way...not without penalty...just like your wound" she looked over at Teela moment "Ohh...Thank you for the compliment.  It is hard to keep up with you two sometimes"

 ..hold on..hold on.. this is a chance of a Life time!... Youyr   stuff isn't going anywhere..

Although she was kind of relieved to hear that the kid wasn't in any kind of trouble, she still rolled her eyes when she heard why he wanted to buy the Sanri Blaster as Nikki pointed out that there was more to the Navy than combat roles. However when Nikki pointed out that she was never going to win a Blue Max as a shuttle pilot in order to illustrate her point Harry couldn't help but excitably exclaim "I've got one! The Blue Max looks so cool and looks even better when it's the only thing I'm wearing...with my uniform!....of course I-I mean w-why would anyone wear one whilst they're...oh hey you don't see one of those everyday!" she suddenly said seizing a Mars pattern pistol from the display as she tried to recover from her gaff and hide the fact that her cheeks were practically glowing as a result.

She hadn't really been sure what to expect when she'd backed up the kids claim that the LC could fire a blaster single handed, quiet thanks perhaps? However it soon became clear that he was a massive ESN fanboy with him excitably asking for their names. With her cheeks back to their original colour Harry would smile at the boy as she held out her hand for him to shake "Ensign Harry Lynch, it's nice to me you..." she said pausing at the end of her introduction so that he could introduce himself, before allowing the rest of the girls to say hello.

 The  Kid   shook her   hand.....wow!..no ones   Going  to  believe  this!... Harry!... They say yu might   catch    Shadow   once some one shoots him  down!.... and   Lt Frans?/..Lots of  folks i guess... but..lots of bad  guys to shoot down!

 He was  beside himself,..man..i wish  my buddies  would  have  come!..they'll never  believe this!

Teela walked over and nodded to the kid, desperately wanting to give Harry a hard time for her verbal gaffe. “Ensign An’Teela. A pleasure to meet you.”

    The Kid Nodded   rapidly,yeah..the one with the wings!   You just had a  Figure  come out!   So..you all  fly!..must be  Great being on the Hermes!

 The Clerk looked  over his shoulders  at teh Sanri.. Sammy  just   crossed  his bottom arms   while the top  Left one leaned against the  wall.. He  just shook his head.


 The other  fellow, who looked like the store owner... waited  to see if Teela  would return.

"Oh he doesn't need to die in order for me to catch him up" Harry said, flashing the kid a confident grin "...it's much more fun if he's around to see me overtake him...besides which there's nothing out there capable of taking him down" she said with a laugh, before stepping back to let Teela say hello, chuckling softly as she was referred to as the one with wings, though no doubt she was used to that by now.

When asked what it was like to work on the Hermes, Harry would briefly glance at Teela and Nikki before replying "Being on the Hermes has it's perks, and Shadow takes good care of his pilots, Teela and I are in his flight" she said, quietly omitting the low life expectancy of being at the tip of the spear all of the time "As for your friends...I'm sure Teela and Nikki wouldn't be opposed to posing for a picture or two"

  The  Kid smiled   even  wider  and  fumbled with  his COM, taking a Coupel Pics,  and  then   Hunching  down  so all three Ladies  were in the Pic ...selfied a  couple times...

 ..Thank You so Much.. I gotta  see if  i can get down to the docking arm where the Hermes  is.. and see it is person...

  so?.. Junior?.. You buying anything?

 ..um.. I don't know?.. I really wanted  the Sanri Blaster...That  Bug weapon looks like its  for little kids?

"Kid...get used to human weapons first..it is what your built for.  Then when you get good expand into other weapons.  Who knows in 5 years something else will be the coolest thing on the market." she said after having the vid shot taken.  "Also...what is the age of consent?  Follow your heart there kid.  If Marines or Navy, or goat herding floats your boat then do it...get good at it, then you'll have it made.  Just because one person says no, don't make it so."

   well.. you got to be at leat 18  earth years.. but if you were  born off world, you can go at 17.. I'm 20.. Just finished   some Tech school.. that's  why the recruiter said  Cook or  cargo loader?..but... no one really cares  about guys lie that..right? I wanna  punch  Empire   folks in the mouth..you know?

 Sammy clears his throat,..You know  Demon Tanks  are  as  tall and   wide as I am?...

  The Kid looks back at Sammy,yeah?.. that's why i want a blaster!
