Nikki moved to the one van and into the drivers seat, setting the briefcase they had gotten from the Frenchman in with her.  She waited for others to load up before leaving.

    Hemsly looked over the  controls.. he   just went bu colores   and   hit anything that was  Red...

  Both the loading Ramps/walls  began to rise..though they  were slow, they were steady.. and the no one  was geetign off the   ramps  as they climbed into the night... some cargo crates and Bodies  fell  in ward to the Hold  as the  angle  changed ..

Roy gave Maria a measured look.  "That's playing fast and loose with the rules about eating sentients..."  His expression and tone were serious, for a moment, then broke into a grin.

"I like it.  I mean, we don't have to order them to eat the bodies, after all...just tell them we need the bodies to disappear, and we really don't care how they do it, as long as there's nothing left behind to identify..." he said, with a shrug.  "Let's still chase down the cart...it'll be less obvious than a team of Ape Folk stomping their way through the building.  We'll just drop off the bodies before we leave the building, is all..."

”...and it will save me from pushing her out of a moving airvan” Harry added in a sweet voice as she watched Ellen eagerly skip off to get in Shadows car. After making sure that Folkes was safely in the van with Teela before climbing into the back of another with Will, sparing the burning  maelstrom behind her one final glance before shutting the doors and heading home.

Justin gave Ellen a wave slightly interested that she elected to join them. Looking out the window he watched the buildings shrink away and listened to Shadows questioning the former SSN. Turning to give her a nod at the mention of his name.

   Maria    racked   her   weapon so it was  ready to  fire,  heading off down the stairs   to see what she could  find...

 beth   was shakign her  head,look at this!... there  are  what?.. a total of  some 90 accounts?.... and   the  machine   says  2 more minutes  yet.. what is this  ?  The year  2000?.. I bet  the cavemen downloaded  stuff  off thier  walls fster then this!

 the accounts , finally did get empty, Beth began to take apart her   hook ups.. every now  and then she crossed  a  wire  into  another  feed, and  ran something.

  as she watched the   screen  she crossed her  arms   and said,..sending  a random  message from the legit  accounts.. to the   independent accounts, telling them that since   the EDT took thier   creds.. they  were   foreclosing on any  'loans'

 ..now?  There is  a good bet they never even heard of each other..much less have loans?.. but that will make the whole  thing  look shiftier ... and? if some one untangles this mess and finds out it was us... we  shoudl  sign them  to our side..because they would be better then me!

 Maria  showed up with a Hover Car and  a Female Ape.. and a Male halfbreed Apefolk.. both of them   would make  Supe's   shoulders and arms  look  like Tucker compares  to Supe.

 The little  dark haired  SEC trooper  grinned,..I found these  2 ..um.. standing guard...

 The Apefolk female looked  down at the  ground a moment.. as close to embarrassed  as  an ape  folk might look... the male Looked  a bit uneasy.....I assumed they were bored, and asked them to  take the bodies  and....get rid of them...

 ..they were unsure, at first... until i said  i'll go ask Captain Targ if i could find someone to  help me..since they seemed to be busy.... They did not  wish to bother the Captain with trivial matters  and said they would  help... Maria's  Brown eyes  shifted  to the  Female    then  to Roy as she grinned.


 ..Yes.. we  wil take bodies  away... no need for Captain Targ to hear of us.. as we took Break...

  both ape folk looked   uneasy..

Lookign at the screens  Hemsly said over the PA, oi!.. I'm tellign ya  all.. lads  and lasses?... them  ramps are gonna  close and seal?.. I canna  stop it.. 'cause.. i don't bloody know how!.. so make  damn sure  ya  ain't   in between.. cause   you'll be  nothin' but lube on the seals!

  The access  door  opened   and  Nagy  gave Hodden a Pat on the shoudler, as he   knelt  down to look back into the ..ever  darkening..Hold.. in about 30 more seconds the   hull would  be sealed, and only the  hold Lights   would be sealed.


 There were a few troopers  down.. but a lot of  crew and   Mercs... there was still  firing goign on  from behind shipping containers and such.

Between Maria's broad hints and the uncomfortable looks of the Ape Folk, it didn't take Roy long to figure out what had happened.  "Everyone appreciates a little time alone...or alone with someone, anyway," he commented drily, then stepped aside to indicate what was left of the bodies.  "That one, in particular, we need to be absolutely unfindable...but it would be good if all three vanished without a trace."  He paused, and looked at the pair, significantly, giving them a moment to begin considering what that meant.

"How you do it is up to you.  Think you can handle the job?"  He stopped short of offering to alibi them to Targ...the less said about that, the better, right now.  He'd prefer the job be done without duress...well, without further duress, anyway.

  The  Female   made a  quick nod,we  take them away, no one  find..ever...

 the male  didn't answer, , just shouldered  his weapon and  moved to the bodies.

 Maria  grinned at  Roy, and     turned to the  railings  to keep an eye out below.

  Beth  was starting to unplug some things  and  putting the coils  neatly in her satchel ..one more  minute and we're Done..   I think the  Fleet  could  build a few of thier own Battleships, if they wanted them.... but  we got damn rich today...

Roy nodded to Beth.  "Let's pack up, then...sounds like things have gone quiet for our end of the mission...it's been long enough that Shadow's likely dealt with the ANSEC issue.  I mean, he hadn't called for more reinforcements, and he's not the type to leave traitors alive for very long, so..."  He shrugged.

"That means saddle up and get back to the Hermes, we can get some second- and third-string techs started putting names on these anonymous account numbers, and I'm sure the Admiral's going to want a report."

  The lights  flashed, and Beth took the  last of the cords  out, her hands  deftly coiling  feed wires to  put into her satchel.


  well..  I know  2  things  for certain... 1...we didn't get all the  creds....I'm sure there are other ..um...banks?   scattered  around... But we  emptied this one..and  regardless of  what we missed... these folks are going to miss  this...alot!

 the  Ape  folks  were on thier  way down  As  Beth said... ready!

Roy nodded.  "Didn't figure we'd bankrupt the EDT in one fell swoop..." he responded.  "But we've hamstrung their operations in this sector.  Some of their supporters are likely to go belly-up...other, larger ones will potentially look at this and decide EDT operatives are not the safest place to hide their money, and pull out.  That will make the damage even worse...  "

When Beth announced she was ready, Roy grinned.  "One last touch, if you didn't think of it already..."  He hefted a stack of crates full of cred discs.  "Crack the internal security system and delete any record of our arrival after we left the Ball...let's not leave any hints behind, I want this guy gone without a trace, literally...no idea where they should start looking for him."  He smirked, and added, "I mean, if you're up for it, of course..."

   Beth  purses her lips as she looks  around, then settles down at the  desk outside the office.

  she begins  tap away, her eyes moving almost as  fast as her fingers ..she frowns.. talkign while she's typing,..someone  hacked this   pathway before...The only CAMs  working in this building  are the ones    for the  main Hall where the Dance was?... It wasn't   us..that's for damn sure... not only didn't  i do it, or give the order?.. its  too damn sloppy...

 ..one  SIG leads  to LaQual... the other SIG  leads to Gladra.....and? that's it...anyone  giving orders, sent them through those  2.....

 then she  Punched  a  button....

 all over the   area, if there was a CAM...hidden or not.. there was a pops   and a  fizzle...

 Its done... its  isolated   to this section of the building, and around back... there is a 'Piranha' feed going through the CAM lines... it will make it all the way back to the ANSEC..i mean  APFSEC hq's  and burn them out?  they can be stopped if someone is good enough, but it won't recover  any think that's eaten..

 Then she pulls out her  weapon and shots the  keep board  three  times,..and?.. no sniffers..

Roy nodded.  "Okay...NOW we go.  Maria, my arms are full...keep one hand free to grab a weapon in case we get jumped on the way to the van.  We got these vehicles from ANSEC...they may or may not be clean."  He walked as he spoke.

"The fact that nobody else got blown up leads me to be pretty sure there's no explosives, but the could have put trackers on the vehicles...and I highly doubt the whole organization got caught in Shadow's retribution visit.  So keep a sharp eye open and be ready to start shooting."

  They  make it out to  Vans.. there are Ape folk walking around.

 They Just nod  at  Roy and   Beth. Maria  is waitng  by a Van  with the door open...the SGT said, No Vampics    were alive in there.. but some of them  left before   the whole  thing blew up.

Roy gave a curt nod.  "I'm sure there are plenty of them still around..."  He shrugged in resignation.  "We'll just have to keep an eye open and guns handy until we get back to the ship..."  He hefted the boxes of discs into the van, checking to make sure his rifle was where he'd left it.

"You've got the wheel, Maria...take us home."

 Maria  Hoped  in and  Fired it  up... taking off , heading  for the  Hermes

  Witht the  hold  sealed.. the  lights  came on,  and the Mercs  were trapped.. some   50  ESN Battleseasoned..or at elast. battle trained   Dropship troopers  started  to work  'by the numbers'  Cutting  down the Mercs  and any crewmen that tried to stand against them.

 Only two were taken alive, as they were  sorely wounded.  The  Gunnery SGT  witht eh Troops  said,All clear in the Hold.... two woudned Mercs... 20 dead... and 6 dead crewmen.

 Hemsly COMs  down,..I oipened  that bridge..an' took all be goonies off the consoles.. there shoud  be a Crew up here  ta keep watch..

 ..LT  Annes here...   we'll have a  crew on board  as soon  we sweep the  ship.

    "That's okay Hemsly, you did great." Garrat had drawn his milled pistols and cut remaining troops down from the oposite side, waiting behind containers till they were engaged with the boarders and then catching them in crossfire.

  When the last of the threat was contained He looked around.  "Okay, let's see what they are carrying that was worth dying over."

   He goes through the cargo to see what it is.

  The   Gunnery SGT walked  with  Garrat  Hemsly  came  down from the Bridge  after   gathering thier  goodies.

   Naggy had    Ma-Ti  stable, the    transport Trooper Med tech worked on her .

  Te  Gunny shook his ehad  as he  pointed at odd writings.. they brought a Longshorman Up to record the  opening of  Containers, after the  ramps were put back down.

  The Gunny  and  troopers markign crates that had the same langueges.., and then they opened a few....

  A First they  found  food  stuffs, clothing and some  tools  and the like.

 Then,  in the  Bow, where the Out Going containers were, they found it... Continers with bodies in  suspension pods.. to keep them alive and  Fresh, until needed....  The Gunny called the troops   over to Open all the 'departing' cargo  containers, They found  27  containers  containing   Humans and Sanri.. 3 more  were jammed  with Occui pods. Lonnox and other Mamamals  were   stacjed in a few others..all alive..mnore or less...


 ..Looking at these    containers.. have of the real cargo  goes to the same planets  that some of the    people-containers  do

 Getting  Back to there  Van , with the wounded   Ma-Ti and  Hemsly and the Goodies  they amassed.

  Nagy  gets in the driver's seat , looking at the Big transport....well?.. Looks like  the Fleet will be getting  some  free  cargo to sellor  give to the Colonies on Aqra?.. and two  nice  shiny transports..

 once every one is in,  the VAn takes off for  the Hermes...

 below them, troopers  are     talkign to dock workers  and scanning them  to  double check ID and such

    Garrat checks in with Ma-Ti with concern. "How are you doing girl."


    After making sure she and Hemsly were secure and stable Garrat responded to Naggy "That is an upside.  We all did good work today, but it was a drop in the bucket."   Garrat shrugs, "But we can't fill the bucket of victory without grabbing every drop we can." He looks at his com speculatively. "It occurs to me that when this goes public we need it to look more like an official operation than a bunch of rag tag soldiersdoing whatever Hack wants us too.  Let's see if we can suport that."

    On the com, "Note to security.  The mission was acomplished but not without sacrifice.  Hemsly was wounded in the shoulder and Ma-Ti took a hit in the hip.  Ma ti finished the mission without comment still showing the excellence we have come to rely on from her people, and will be taken immediatly to the medical bay in the hopes she heals enough to give an old space marine dance lessons before leaving the station.  It should be noted that I asked Hemsly to go above and beyond his training as suport after he was wounded and he aquited himself excellently.  The rest of the team were everything I could hope for on this mission and if the night is young enough we would like to continue to help cleanse this station and suport the brave people who have hung in with it all these years.  Dozens, of sentient beings were to be shipped, barely alive n stasis chambers, with standard supplies to a given destination.  It bodes well that we were able to intervene in their fate, and we will bow our heads for a moment of reflection for those whose fate we were nod able to intervene in."  Garrat sends pictures of those in the pods, that there is record of how they were being shipped like cargo, and waits for further orders.

  Hack  listened  , then answered,..very Good ,  SGT. Please  return to the Hermes, we'll have a small debrief,  and i will outline  the  next step  in our stay here.
