The   Man looked   at Roy, Flores, Shadow and Larry...then turned to Garrat.

  ...well, we're Going in... You can't  stop Us, and he's comign with  us...now  if you want to try and stop him... I won't...stop him..

 Larry's  tail thumped some more.. then  followed them Into the   Hold of the Last Hope.

 Once in side... Sh-Ba   indroduced herself  and   had  Lexoff  show the images   again..she explained   what the  plan was  for delivery and protection.. and what they wanted to do.

after she  was    finished  she   looked at the  whole of the group,... from what  i understand... The Empire, nor the Aqra, are  going to be  getting  any information from thier  board, Unless they get it from  the Avain?..she Missing... our  agents   don't know where she is... the  Hyrian.. turned and is aboard the flagship for the Blue Hyrians... we have a window, before the Empire  tyoes make a  battle field  decision ..but if  we can hit  that Hnager, before they can bring Troopers in... we can use the Ststion COMs to alert the resistance..and  the battle will begin... we Fail..the Empire has  thier   doorway...

  Shadow stated  simply, no smile, not  intent..just flat....if  we  fail.. the fleet will be using   this  station for scrap...and  we'll have to  have a mass send off..for those   who lived here.

Roy snorted softly.  "No, if we fail, THEY have a mass send off.  We'll be among the bodies."  He grinned wolfishly.  "So, let's not fail.  We've got people on the inside...if necessary, they should stay behind the scenes, on the hangar side, until we can give them a signal...then, if we need it, they roll a few grenades in behind enemy lines just before we rush them.  We've got three snipers...if that Verian rifle shoots anywhere near as well as the Largran one did, anyway.  At least two snipers.  We've got a pair of demo specialists...if there's a hatch in that wall, we should try and blow that, and if not, or perhaps in addition to that, we should blow close the center of the wall...minimizes the chances of collateral damage creating a hull breach...it's a shame we don't have some thermite paste."  He paused for a moment, and added, "We do have Stoly sitting on a pad...with an assault shuttle.  If that can cut a hole in a ship's hull, it can do a number on an interior wall on a station, I'm sure.  He could even open up two or three points, although it may be to our advantage to keep it at one breach, and turn that into a chokepoint for their counterattack."

He grinned at Karson and Hemsly..."Not as sexy as using charges, I'm sure, but it's still pretty fast and very controlled."  He glanced down at the larg, and gave a smile of genuine fondness. "And unless someone on that deck has a pregnant larg that will distract Larry, I feel safe in saying that we'll capture the ESN section with minimal risk of injury"

Henry listened to the chatter as he attended to Mila's needs, making sure she had water and something to eat. This sounded like an all-out assault and he wasn't sure what part they could play in it.

When Larry the larg arrived, he called him over to have something to eat and drink as well.

With the arrival of Shadow, Roy and Flores the plan of attack and the required details for it's execution were quickly taking shape and was rapidly moving out of her skill set. Harry wasn't an assault trooper. She was a pilot, street fighter and occasional assassin and as such lacked the training and equipment to excel at this kind of an operation.

At Sh-Ba's mention of the "ESN" Corvette Harry would turn her attention away from the blood stained Larg and to the captain "If the corvette is liable to cause us trouble, we have a couple of pilots in the room, so there's nothing to say we couldn't relieve the hangar of a few fighters and help take it out" she said, though a lot depended on what the reduced flight had to offer in the way of fighter craft and whether or not they were in a suitable condition for battle. Granted it would strip the team of people for the assault but on the other hand it wouldn't matter all that much if a corvette started causing them trouble.

The fighter guns could also be turned on back wall

    Sh-Ba  looked  towards the  three  people playing  EDT stud,.. we have  three  fighters  of our  own on that  we will release   as we  Draw near the Sphere. It will be assumed  we are letting loose  or escorts, but  it will give   us a reason to have the    Loading Bay opened,   so   You people   can secure  the Hanger.

 Turning to   Roy,..if there  are  Fighters in the ESN  Hanger,  You may want to use  what  piltos  you have, to fill the cockpits  avaliable ...Everyone  we can put in the air, is  one the  Empire and thier stooges  will not have accounted for.

   as she    waved an  arm to  The  Yellow  haired Tech,..I will Have Lexoff  send Your shuttle Pilot  the   fastest route  In.. I would suggest he waits, until we launch out  fighters, so  less people take Notice of the shuttle  entering the     inside of the   outer shell...

  Saying something in an Odd Language, Lexoff  answers, and   Brings up   a ' overhead..slice" of the  station.

  ..The Inner Sphere is the heart of the station.. the Upper Half, contains the   HQs  of all races who...'run the show"  she   turns back, The Outter    sphere... perhaps..'shell' would be a better name...contains   the  living paces   on  ..some..80 % of the population.. while the    Tubes have the  other  20%  spread out  in   little groups....  business  and   shops   are scattered  about, but most of the living   and Commerce is in the Shell.

 ..the  access tubes help get   traffic   from    the MAin tubes   and spheres... and help keep  traffic,manageable... you see  the  Red  Dots that are  flashing... Those  are the Static fields   to enter the  Inner sphere... once you enter  the sphere you are flying in Atmo.....   she  shrugs  and Looks at HArry,

 .. should   something go  wrong.. you will not..'fall'   But you will drift... and O2 is very..very thin... if  you  get into the  ari in a fighter.. it  will be Much llikeflying in the  upper  atmo of  an Earth, or Burian type planet.... Ships  larger then  The LAst Home, cannot   enter, because they will  'fall' one direction or the other,  so  smaller transports and    Cargo  shuttles   need to be used... the static  fields are purposely built   to not allow  destoyer   size   and  up...'fit'

 The Skinny  Med Tech   comes  over, pushing up her  glasses,..the one Called Hawkes   can go in... the one called Nagy.. should not.. his   leg, will heal.. but  he'll be  of little use  if he has  to run..or even walk far?

   Larry  Came over     he thumped  his Tail.. he   looked  away from the food, but   lapped at teh water.

   Sh-Ba  saw the animals   and  said,..I have been in the Balck, most of my life.. I have never  seen a Larg  with Humans.......your Human  animal  would normally be prey, for a Larg?.....But..I must ask you?... what can those animals do?...if they can help search... they may aid    the mission, once the wall is breached ... I...must be honest... I am Hoping we  find only  fighters on teh other side of that wall?.... But if they are breeding, or Holding Chambers... we  may need to find out, where they storage sections are...

 Lirg  came over to  Garrat,..this.... is  odd thing, is it  not...fighting   people  who should be  fighting with us, as they fight for, those we fight against?

 Duke   stood  with Supe  and Tucker,  as they sorted though the  ammo  the  restance   folks    displayed for them

 Shadow  asked in a very..un-Shadow like Voice,..is there.... access from teh Hangers  to the   HQS?

As Duke goes through the ammo being sorted, he throws out any that are bent or malformed in any way so that the ammunition that used will be fired correctly.   He will also instruct Supe and Tuck in the same way if they aren't doing it already.

Henry looked up at Sh-Ba.

"Mila is good at searching, she's trained in intelligence acquisition. We two work as a team. Larry is better at fighting, when things get up close and personal. He has formed an attachment to Kray."

   Garrat recovers whatever is in his kit that the mad scientists don't use and stows it then looks at Lirg, "A bit, I'm not thinking too much about it."  He settles his gear and removes his helmet from the place he set it so that sec had a veiw of the meeting area, "I just want to finish this in one peice so I can find out who killed that unit from the other ship and Ice them...as the ESN folks say."

   He stands ready to head out.

Studying the map of the station, Harry would make a point of noting where the static fields were located as well as the fact that if she were to enter through one of those points that she would be moving into a low atmosphere environment "Oh don't you worry about that, I can fly in anything" Harry responded almost absently as her eyes traced the potential routes and hazards she would face were she to follow that course of action.

Hearing Will's voice however, Harry would turn to smile at him as she cheerfully responded "hey there will be plenty of chance for you to impress me with your gun play when we enter the hangar...besides there's no guarantee that I'll be flying, those fighters could be show pieces for all we know" she said with a roll of her eyes that said it would be about typical for a station to not have any fighters already armed and fuelled for combat "...but hey if I do wind up flying, see if you can get me a souvenir, I didn't have chance to grab anything last time we went out to play" he said, chuckling softly before turning back to the station maps.

    "Pat Larry on the back hard enough and I'm sure he'll cough up something."  Garrat teased.

Teela coughed as she suppressed a laugh at Garrat's quip to Harry and rubbed Larry's head. "Glad to have you with us, Larry."

She checked her gear one more time in preparation for moving out.

Roy grinned.  "We're still figuring out what all Larry is good at.  I don't know anything about largs, as far as how they stack up to dogs as search animals...but Larry's a meat-grinder on very fast legs, and he's very good about doing exactly what he's told.  He doesn't like people pulling weapons on us...but the one time I told him to get the gun, he did...along with about two-thirds of the gunman's arm."  His smile was an odd combination of fondness, pride, and a trim acknowledgment of those who'd already died.

"At a guess, I'd say odds are good, even if he's got a good sense of smell, that it'd be difficult to explain to him what to search for, if it's Gavas.  But if we can get him on one flank of the opposing forces, so they don't see him coming, he can make our job a lot easier.  And once we clear the hangar area, he'll be REALLY effective at holding it."  He glanced at Harry, and added, "His bite force is amazing...I didn't know you could crush a Creshian skull like that, and it hardly even slowed him down."

He paused, then added, almost sheepishly, "That's why he's not eating...he's had snacks.  A lot of snacks..."

   Sh-Ba   was  taking a Measure of the Group, Flores  was  showing off the  Bow.. and.. stole the   arrow the Med Tech had on   Nagy's   hover  Cart.

   She   looked at Shadow  who had    a soda  from the Ship's  cooler. you'er not looking over the supplies?

  ..Naw?.. I'm Good..My Sanri Blaster  ishould be charged up... i have all my blades... Though.. i was   Having a Thought of   using one of your  fighters...

 The  three people playing cards by the Fighters   stopped  and  looked at him, the Hillite  grinned the jagged tooth  Grin,.. you would have  to  kill one of  us, to  get our  fighter...  his dark Blue skin setting off the    pure  white   eyes , that appeared to have  no pupils

 ..relax  there, Bluebell... I'd  never take  another person's  fighter, Unless i thought it  was an emergency ...

  right now...an extra   body  coming off the ramps  will look good...and  if there are    fighters  in there?... and  we need  them?  we'll have  our  pick..

 Nagy asked,what about me?.. if I can't  go in..what the 9 hells  do i do?

 she pointed to  a burly  fellow  but the   Docking  ramp.....Close it  Up... we launch in 5...

  she    started to move forward to the Hatch was that lead to the   Bridge......  Nagy Hobbles  his  way over to the Gun  Guns  nearest the    Ramp doors, he   studied the  way the guns  would be 'run out'

  Shadow  came  over    Larg was  sitting  By  Mila looking.  his  eyes   tracking   every one  he 'knew'.

 ..Doc Henry?... I'm thinkign   the  effect of  a bunch of people running down the ramp will help  make   those  on the HAnger Dec..thgink strongly  about  surrender?...  so?.. let them see you.. but hang Back....  look for  anyone flanking  and  such...but as we begin to search....  I still want to knwo if there is a  Way up to the HQs  from the hanger decs?.. i mean?..there has to be ..right?

Roy grinned.  "If there's a way, we'll find it.  One thing at a time, though...let's blow the lid off their live-food trafficking, first, and then we can see about killing anyone who's left behind it."  He went back to their air-van, retrieving the Verian rifle.

"This goes against my standard practice...on so many levels," he said when he got back.  He began intensely analyzing the rifle.  "If we need another sniper, though, I'd kick myself if I left this thing back here."  He cycled the action a couple of times to make sure he was comfortable with it.  "Wish I had time to try it out on a target range...we were damned lucky with the Largran one."  He shrugged, dismissively, and looked over at the larg.

"Larry, come here.  Better leash you again, at least until we get some idea of where to send you in once we get there..."  He held the coiled leash out, and shook it gently.

 Larry Came  with His ehad  d own a  Bit , then sat  to be hooked up again.

 Shadow     sat by the others, his  eyea appraising the  green fighters.,..Most Hanger Decs  have   the extra  Amma   and  Powercells  and such  Under the Hanger  Dec.... Gotta  wonder what's  under  that Hanger Dec.

"I am not touching that!" Harry said in a horrified voice, eyes going wide as she turned to watch Teela fuss the giant....lizard...thing?! like it was a pet dog "...I'm edgy enough around regular dogs as it is, that however is a small dinosaur!" she said whilst taking a deliberate step back as if she intended to hide behind Will with Roy's description of how the larg had crushed a Creshian's skull between it's teeth doing little to calm her down or change her opinion.

  Larry Tilted his head back   and Forth  as Harry   Moved .  Will Grinned,..Hey?..LC  said the thing  saved him, then saved  him and Flores.... SM  say  it  eats  Badguys....so..Might be a good thing, for him to like you?

 The  ship began to 'float' as Grav locks  where opened. The Static   filed   beow them   , seem to swallow  the transport , as it  'sank' through the field.

  Once the  Bell rang 3  times to tell them they were clear.. It  slowly turned, as if in no hurry at all.

 Sh-ba   returned to the  Hold, She pointed at the three pilots,..Mount Up...  jump off on my orders... The rest of you  come forwards  a bit to clear the Hold for the fighters...

 The Hermotes  Moved  forwards  and Shadow  looked around the Hold,..You know?  Captain?.. with those  three fighters  in the Hold... and  everyone knows  you have the  three fighters... what  kind of Good  can you carry ?

 She  gave  Shadow  a cold look,.. the  fighters     Launch and   stay  in flight unless  we  go out  empty.. the same for when we  come back... But we  try to  keep our loads  light ...but profitable...

 Largralite..... Sanri-ite....

 ..Yes..... one  load. half the hull of  either  , not  only  aids the   station... but  could by two of these transports...

 Tucker  looked   confused, Supe  said,..that's the  stuff they Mine out in the Black..mostly asteroids .... they are the same thing, Just have the  first part named for  what cluster they were  found in...

  Will looked at Supe, Shoey stopped  chewing his gum and  stared...

 ..what?.. I was gonna be an engineer  when i was in highschool... they taught us about powercells... that's what ya need to make them..... he shrugs his shoulders..

 Flores bit her lip a bit as she looked at him,..so?  why  are you lugging around   a Heavy  weapon, instead of wearing a LAb coat  or  Tech Orange?

 Supe   shrugged again.....I blew up part of the Lab when i tried to ..improve' a powercell..then i beat the  9 hells out of  two geeks  who made fun of me....next day, i was in the  ESN, learning how to be a heavy Gunner.

"All right. Remember Mila already knows what Gavas smell like."

Henry watched Roy lead Larry away, giving the larg a pat in parting.

    "Awe that's okay Harry," Garrat says trying to keep a straight face, "Worse comes to worse Hemsly and I will save you a piece of burien pie after this is through>"

Despite the stories that the Larg had already saved both the LC and Flores, Harry still edged her way behind Will as the the Larg in question turned it's attention to her "look I like him just fine...over there, away from me" she said, breaking off the nervous look she was giving Larry in order to glare at Garrat as he teased her "hey it's not funny! Dogs scare the hell out of me!" she complained from somewhere behind Will's shoulder, quietly hoping that Larry would lose interest in her and go to sleep.

Teela rubbed Larry's head with one hand and Mila's with the other. "You will find no one more loyal than a dog, I have heard. Dogs are pack animals, like Larry and he has demonstrated his loyalty numerous times. Face your fears, Harry and let them rule you no longer."

Roy shrugged.  "Parhaps right before we go into a firefight is not the best time for de-sensitization therapy, " he said, with a nod in Harry's direction (since there wasn't much of her visible behind Will.)  "I agree, it's a good idea to face your fears, and at least get them to the point where you control them, and not the other way around...but I'd rather have Harry alert and focused on the fight, instead of shaky and euphoric about facing a pathological fear."

He gave Larry a reassuring pat, and continued, "Pretty sure Larry will keep his distance, unless you really need his help.  He's pretty smart about people...and now he knows he should leave you alone."  He grinned and looked down at the larg.  "Right, Larry?"

   Shadow  , Pulled his   Blaster  from the  Holster, He    Drew  his   Knuckle Knife  and   spun it  around. before  griping  it  with the  Bald e facing backwards.

   Sh-ba   rolled  her eyes,..YOu can tell you'er  a Pilot....what do you expect to  do  with a Blaster as you run down the  ramp...

 ..I dunno?.. distract them...  wing one or  two, Until I get close  enough to paint the dec....

 ..you might be  dead  before you  hit the end of the ramp....

Az-el speaks up,..The LC  has  done a few   Missions for the Hermes... he is still alive....

 Larry Looked  up  at Roy and thumped his tail..  but  as   Shadow   Pulled his   weapon   he stood  on all 6 legs  and flatten out...

 Supe Traded     his pulse rifle  for   an Old...beat up, human 30 Cal MG.., Draping  two Belts  of  ammo over  his shoulder,,  the one in the  breech    over his left arm

  Tucker had   a Puls erifle..

 Lirg Ha dHis rifle..  and  had it  ready  Karson..and Hemsly   had    a homemade  grenade in  eact hand... McNeil Had  a Grease gun as she moved  closer to Shadow.

 Flores   Nocked   one of the deadlyb arrows , and pushed her self between McNiel  and  Shadow.. giving   Flores  a Cold  smile.

     Jo-wa and  Az-el had thier     puls erifles  ready.

  Ma-Ti stood  close to Garrat  with her  sniper  rifle.. she had no exprsession on her  face..  but her  rifle  was  ready

  Will  had his grease guun set, he  looked to  Harry  and   gave her a small smile..

 Lippen, Aspen  and Shoey  all had  Pusle rifles...

 Hawkes  stood  Next to Henry and Mila...

 Nagy  was  sitting  in the  Gun Bubble, waiting for the CAptain to open up the gun ports..

 From the COMs...

 Captain.... 8 minutes   to  dock...

 ..Thank YOu..keep her  steady.... Away all fighters....

 The  Hillite took off in the LArgran Craft.. the  two HAmmers  left   one after the others...

  Shadow Grinned ..You know  what would be great?...  Chains for us to swing into the Hanger Dec!

 Will Grinned.....Yeah!..Like  season 2..Episode  7.. when they   swung onto the  ship on that Lizard  world!

 Shadow nodded  rapidly.....yeah..yeah..that's the one....!

 Sh-Ba  turned  and shook her head with her hands on her hips,..My gods... they'er all going to die...

Teela made sure she had some room around her and rolled her shoulders before bending them inwards. Soft cracks were heard and she moaned low in her throat as she let her wings extend and unfurl from the compact mass they were against her back. The main joints rose until they stood level with the top of her head and she expanded them as much as she could and shook them. She rolled her shoulders again and took a deep breath in, checking the pulse rifle before doing a final check of all of her weapons.

When her head lifted and her silver eyes were visible again they held nothing but the promise of death for their enemies.
