Garrat flipped his big rifle to fully auto and started unleashing death.

”Because there’s far more daring do on the show...and Broadsword is hot!” Harry responded with a laugh as she continued to fire at muzzle flashes wholeheartedly agreeing that poor Lt Star needed to move on, not that she was far enough into the show to see the new girl.

Despite being referred to as “Fish and Chips” where the hell did she get that!? she was still glad to see Teela here, though she would have to wait until later to learn what exactly her friend had done to fall into the Admirals bad books as she’d been far to busy with her own Op to listen too closely to the cross chatter.

As the rest of the team launched their assault upon the building Harry would drop the bulky pulse rifle she’d been using and follow Will into the building; firing a few quick bursts from her Machine Pistol to cover him as he toppled the vending machine. It was as she was crouching behind the machine watching for muzzle flashes within the rest of the building that she would quickly help herself to a couple of bars of chocolate offering Will a slightly embarrassed smile before grabbing one of her grenades and throwing it towards a doorway from which someone had recently fired from, shouting ”Fire in the hole!” as she did so.

That weird feeling hit her again.  Dammit she seemed to think of things too late "Dammit! Rutledge to Hermes did anyone check our packets returning to the ship?  They might have slipped something  in there."

  Grenades  went off   white zips of  hot  hard  ammo   went back and Forth.. as  blue-white  blobs  , or streams  of Pulse  rounds  hissed    back and forth

 Teela ….   looked about , as she  stood  by the Broken  window that Ellen  hand entered... the  ceiling was too low  for her to take  flight..at least.... take flight  and not die... Lookign at the Broken rood that  hung over the VAn Lyri's team used,  and the  3  small windows   ou the second  floor ( which was very close to the  roof of the Tunnel. she  had to decide  what to do.

 Will.. re3ached  down  and  got a  CAn of  soad,,,he shook  it  Hard  , popped the   top, just slightly, and threw it   on the balcony.. the spinning  soda Looked  like  smoke...in the smoke,  ,  Two  Mercs Got up to get out of the  way, Will blew one's  Head off,  and  winged the second one.....they said, too much soda  is no good for you!

 Ellen was curled up  By a chewed up sofa, she Looked in a bad  way, extending her attack  almost to the Balcony..  She  was being fired  on..down.. from  a few people who had the nerve to pop up... SMG  fire  from Shadow, and Justin.. along  with Justin's    weapons    either put them  down..or kept then hidden.

 Shade looked  around  , Bleeped somethign and  scurried as  Fast as he  could towards   Ellen,, He Grabbed her by the   arm  and  pulled her    , Under the balcony and tossed her against the wall on  Lyri's  side of the Building.. he was Bleeping and whirling  up a storm.. Ellen shook off the toss   , not  having a clue what he was saying.

 ..Rolfe!.. we have  two Uner the BAlcony... geek your  eounds to the upsetairs..  try to target the Door ways.. I think they are behind the walls   and using the stairs      as  a staging poitnt.

 ..Aye  sir... BAlcony it is...

 He Looked at Justin  and Nodded  after the Next 'poom'..  then charged  Forwards  leaping over     a  bullet riddled  , 'leather'  chair  to  LAnd on a wounded Merc  who was  firing  at   The  folks  by the vending machine area. The  Man  Scream   as   Shadow  landed, , cross  drawing the  Trench   knife to slashed   the man's neck, then left him to  struggle  as   he Moved  toward   the door.. .. now  Hiding Behind the Pool table they used for the Pre-game.

 Supe      Moved  down  along the right  wall  his  BAck to it   as he  fired   a burst every  now  and then to the left  balcomy.. either    hitting  or   chasing away.. troops that came from the  door...  after  each   explosion, he  would  move  another  yard or two  down the  wall.

 Tucker.. stayed  by him and  fired   at anyone  coming out the  lower  door  on their side.

  Karson had made some of  Hemsly's  famous  Biscuits  and  would toss  two or three on the balcony.. then..when he saw movement.. Trigger them to   surprise..and  either kill or MAim  those who came out.

 Brooks stayed close  to Nikki.....I'm bettin'; they  dinna  tell ye  about things like this  in flight school.. aye?


 Lyri  and KArl   had a Postion between   will  and   Shadow..  they saw  Shade  grab the over eager  new girl and  drag her under the balcony.. and   Shadow , with Justin  surge  forward..the Balcony was gettign quiet now... her  rifle  fire  was  spent. like  each round was paid  for, out of her pocket... but  often rewards  with a  scream of  Pain, surprise.. or the   'thunk' of a body dropping.

 Minnet was    sliding down the wall Like Sup.. using her  heavy Pulse  to  cross fire   at the top of the balcony to the right.

  Fowlkes   was  down..  about   5 yards  behind  Will and  Harry  Hawkes was  just Inside the  Door  with his   Pulse rifle..   looking   at the Balcony  yo cover  Rolfe


Shadow   shouted into  the   Captured COM.....Its all over   LT  H..... the best you could do now, is ..maybe..kill one or two more of us.... but you're  trapped  like   Stem Rats....


 He Motioned  ( hoping  folks  could see/pay attention...)..  to the Balcony, for    people to get on top.

 Karson looked up from  fussing with his  Toys  and  picked his  way   through the   bodies, furniture , and debris... firing his  weapon into a wriggling   Merc as he did.

 The  COM  came back,..No  Ensign  Rutledge.. we'll have them removed to the  docks and the QM's  armorers  will check them out  with   Hermes  SEC.... good thinking, no matter   how it turns out.

   As the mercs  tried to honor their  contract..  Garrat became the focus of thier   targeting, Ma-ti- took a round to the  left hip... But  Kept  firing.

  Hodden was  shot   and  went down, but  gathered her    weapon to drag herself  behind the Container that  Nagy  was firing from.. So far..  Garat  felt  to solid  hits  in the  'machine' leg... it was starting to  feel 'heavy"...    a fee mercs  lay  dead...


 sounds  of    surprise   from  the Hold and the  Light of  Pusle   weapons annaoucned the arrival of the  Ampere's  troops

   Garrat curses unde his breath.  The answer is so obvious and he let his people get hurt for not seeing it.  "Bridge, close the cargo bay doors."  He continues targeting the enemy

Teela saw Shadow's gesture to have people get on top and pulled back into cover as she weighed her options. She signaled to get his attention then used a complicated series of hand motions to let him know she was going to throw two grenades before using the van rather than fly to get up to the second floor balcony and that some covering fire would be wonderful.

She pulled two flashbangs and threw threw one into the left-most window and the other into the centre. "Fire in the hole!"

She was up and moving, leading with her weapon before the echoes died down.

  The grenades   went Off.. again some    shouts  of   surprise    from inside the   walls.

  Teela  got the  the Baclont seeing   the Bises , and pasrts of  Bodies, and  lots of crates of  ammo  they   were using.

 Rolfe  fired   My more  round  to the Right... then said on the COMs,..That's  it!...  we have friendlies  up there.. I have 6  rounds of  each left....

   Get up top... so you can send    rounds  down the   stairs...   Gunfire   died   down.. one  fellow   tried  to   come out the  door  and saw torn to ribbons  by Shades SMG and  Ellen's    rifle.

 Shade  made  signals  to each door  on teh ground,  as  well as point to the top again...

  It was  quiet, except  for teh crackle of   fire.. a Moan here or there... and the shuffling of  feet as they responded to the orders.

  SHade  Bleeped  and whirled …

  ..of  cours e  ytoyu smell somethign burning.. the  damn  building is  burning... then he looks,..you don't  even  have a Nose!

 Shade  stomped his   foot, and  pointed  at the slight peak   above his  mouth , where a set of  small holes  were...  The    Bleeped   even louder.

 ..wait?  That works?....

 Shade    Bleeped    again....  and grinded  harshly...

 what?.. No?.. I just though.. you know.. it was  for holding Sun glasses   or  something...

 Shade  threw  a  Piece of  masonry  at him .....alright... I'm sorry... sheesh...

 The  Verian pointed to the door  near them, and  rattled of series of sounds...Metal  Burning?......


   By then Karson reached them.....I  want 1/4  block of C-10   in this door  and T hat,   Blow them as you throw them...

 TOPSIDE...BE READY FOR BLOWBACK.... SHADE THINKS THEY ARE  CUTTING THROUGH TO  THE LOWER TUBES...

  Supe    Now hand his    weapon trained on the  door to the   Right  as   Karson    cut the Black and  armed the first one.

 Tucker   watched  along  with  Brooks  and Nikki.....so?..... they  have to be cutting into the backside  wall?.... that means  they won't  drop down into the MAin  traffic tubes.. but   will be dropping  down into the Maintainence  tubes  behind the wall?


   Hawkes  followed   Rolfe   up  as they  climbed  on table s  and     Jumped up  , pulling themselevs up....I'll  fire into the one on the  right.... after KArson  bows  the one on the left..  I'll fire    one down the right and he can hit the only on the left...

 Will   took a look outside  through the   holes... to see if  he noticed  anything  sneaking Up.

 Lyri  and karl stood in the Middle , with Minnet.. ready to go in what direction they were  Needed

"LC - they have a lot of ammo up here. If this cooks off we'll leave a crater big enough for a new park."

She went to the door and did a quick look for targets before moving deeper inside the upstairs of the building.

She thought a moment..."We can cut off thier retreat." she suggested.  Then commed Shadow about the maintenance tunnels, "There are station schematics and we can block thier escape"

      Teela...we'll  take that  chance.... watch for the blow back....

   ..... Nikki?..  if  you can find  a  way in? youc an try..but it might be  better to stick together, we  don't   need to lose   people....we don't know  who they have  for backround...

 Get ready .. when  Karson is ready.. I'll wrn you all..

"Copy that LC. I'm inside the hallway coming off the left window. Negative contact so far." She told him as she went in deeper, sweeping and clearing any rooms before passing them.

  Teela,.....  becareful..  you get too  far down..  you won't be able to  get out..and we  are Blowing the stairs..

  The Top of the  room at the  doorway was  an office. lots of   papers  burning, and a few bodies  who had  crawled in to die.

    The   stairs  were outside the  door  Leading  down...

With the fire fight continuing to rage all around her Harry would fall back to check on Folkes condition, leaving Will to cover the holes as she did so. Should he prove to be in a stable enough condition she would move him into cover behind the vending machine With her and Will. Her first aid skills were only basic at best but she would then see what she could do about his injuries.

However should he prove to be beyond saving she would leave his body where it was and resume guarding the rear with Will, leaving the assault to the likes of Teela and Shadow who seemed to have a better handle on what was going on.

Once a breach was made Justin slipped to one side of the first to glance inside. If there were hostiles inside he put rounds into them then  assessed the egress before entering and taking up suitable cover.

"Want me to pull out, LC or continue some recon?" She asked before doing a clear of the room and moving in to see if there was any data or papers she could salvage. "I'm in an office looking for any salvageable intel."

 Fowlkes  took a  round  to the chest.. he was out.. and bleeding .  Basic    field aid  would have   Harry Foam the hole  and plaste the outside.. and let Med techs  dig around, if ..and when they got back.

  KArson Nodded  and  Held Up three  Fingers.. he had the  half brick in his hand

 Rolfe  Pumped a  Frag  down the stirs  on the right.. the explosion  echoed with  screams...  Fie  Blew  out the top and Bottom of the stairs,   as  Role  Grinned.. hugging the wall

  Karson threw  the   Brick.. dove towards  Shadow  and   the  Builifn  Shooks, Flames  Licked  out  Both the Top and the  Bottom

  Now!   switch.. do it again!  Rolfe  ran   over to Teela's  stairs    he HAd  HE in this  time...

 Karson ran across to the other... the count  down started  again..   and  Rolfe  Fired   Divign  onto the Balcony.as   More Flames  Licked   up  have  the  stairs  shook.

 On the right   side , there was something Differant,  , after the Flames  and shake.. Black  smoke  poured  .. Out

 Shade  Waved  His  SMG  and    BLEEPED  A LONG BLEEP...


 Everyone!  get the 9 hells  out... don't stop running until you reach the  Far side of the  Tube!

 Shade   stood there  with Shadow   as he  looked about  to make  certain  everyone  was going..Ellen  Smiled  shyly at Him   until he snapped   ' RUN!"  and she did..


    Will   helped    Harry Get Fowlkes   and   Minnet   stood  between   Lyri and KArl  as they Moved..

 Supe   and Tucker   waited  for  Shadow  who kept  waving them  along.. Role  went  down the   broken  ceiling.

 KArson   is  smilign  wide.....you guys  ain't seen nothing  yet!

   The  smoke  was  Getting Blacker   and thicker.. the  Building  was starting to  Shake

"Oh hell!" Teela ran out of the room and dove through one of the windows on the second floor and snapped her wings open, flying over the rest of the Hermes personnel as they ran. "SHADOW! Next time a girl asks if you want recon for intel can you answer before blowing her up?!"

She looked at Tucker and Brooks "Let's go screw with their escape route" she would lead them through the zone to find a blind spot out "Well kinda late to do this and make it look nice..we'll just have to do it fast and ugly..blow up maintainance tunnels" When out of the fire zone she looked to get a more secured link to get diagrams and directions for the maintainance tunnels as some explosives were gathered up.  then they would disappear into an entrance.  Plan is to blow their possible escape routes.

Unless under fire they would wire the maintenance tubes they could use and blow them as soon as they heard the explosions above

      as the   others  ran   Shadow   Hustled  a Little  Bit, Shade  seemed to be going  on  about something.

  One  Outside the    Wall,   both of nthem  Ran  hard,,, Shadow  stiooed to  grab   Shade   and  pulled him   along.. Looking to Teela,  He  said in an uncharacteristic  curt tone.


 ..I believe  I  told everyone what was going to happen.. I  even gave    a Count  down

 ..sorta....   Faint  sounds  of  screams ,, that  got   Louder   , the  whole section of the Tube  Shook,  the    Inside  Blew  Out  towards the Parkign Lot...


 ..Hit the   dec!!!!!…  Bricks,   plaster,  Metaglass and even a body or  two  Flew outward...  Muffled  explosions  sounded  like    a chain reaction  car  wreck.

   sections  of the   Upper   Tubes   Bucked  out wit a few   holes appearing    jetting out Flames... Fire Control alarms  Blared  as  Red  lights went on..


    Shade     waved  his  arms  around     as he whirled...

 ..Shade says... the   heating pipes   are   on the inside od the Tubes, to protect from attacks.... i guess, whatever gasses they use  out here... doesn't do well with  Fire...

  the inside of teh Building  was an Inferno..  wails   and   pained  cries  for  help could barely be heard  from deep inside ..

 ..well..... I think  we've  done  enough tonight... lets go home, before  Fire Control  gets here... I got   Dibs on that  Green sports  car...

 there  were two   black Vans , a green  sports  car and  a  Black  hard top.

 He  walked over to the Green Car  waiting to see who all was going with him, he watched the fire..heard the  screams.... and smiled.

Climbing off the street Justin used his empty hand to brush the residue from the blast off himself. When Shadow claimed the green sports he gave Shadow a conspiratorial grin crossed to the vehicle and flopped into its rumble seat, allowing Shade or whoever wanted it the passenger position.

Scrambling back out of the maintenance access routes Nikki was covered in a bit more dust.  Seeing Shadow she just gave a thumbs up and headed for the rest of the group.  Making sure she checked for the location of the briefcase to make sure it was not lost.  "Tubes are blocked.  should help isolate the fire as well." sh gave Tucker and Supe a friendly hug.  "We got a ride?"

Tela pointed to Shade. "See, sort of. That barely counted as a countdown. 1,2,3 - BOOM! That's a countdown? That's the opening to a Ramones song! I've been studying Earth history in case you were wondering. Before you tried to explode me I did manage to grab all of this," she told him, handing him some papers and data chips. "Maybe there's some good info on it."

    Shadow     Grinned  at Teela,.. pick a rid e and Lets go home.... Make  Sure  Fowlkes is stable.. he goes on the  Hermes  first....

 Tucker  Looked   at Nikki  and pointed to the  two Vans and  Black Sedan.....You'er  a driver.. Pick  one..

 Supe    wiped   his  forehead,,it was gettign  damn Hot.. and   Fire Control was   comimg from the east.

 Ellen  came ove r  by Will, Harry and the others,/...Can I ride  with you Guys?

 She  was grinning , the  front of her  enviro suit  was covered in someone else's blood.

 Will leaned a bit to her ..There's  room for one  More in the LC's  ride...

 She turned  and  Grinned  and scampered over.

 Lyri  gave him a shove,.. You Know   he'll get even..right?

 Will  smiled,Comeon.... he's her  hero.. let her have somne  fun.. he  fought  like a  mad woman in there...

 Minnet  was making sure  Fowlkes  was settled in..

"Copy that, LC." Teela picked the van Fowkles was in and began attending to him as the rest settled in. She took of his armour and saw the chest wound and immediately put dermafoam on it before covering it with a pressure bandage from the first aid kit.

She rolled him over and looked to see if he had an exit wound and treats that if one is present. She put on him oxygen and started an IV to replace volume loss.

"He's stable for the moment, LC but definitely in critical condition with this chest wound. I'll monitor him on the flight back to the Hermes."
