Roy gave the larg a predatory grin.  "Not yet, Larry...not yet."  He checked all his weapons again, even though he had a mental inventory...the machine pistols were fully loaded, the Verian pistol still had seventeen shots on its charge...both knives were ready.  He'd already checked out the Verian sniper rifle.  He leaned against a bulkhead, relaxed...eight minutes was a long time to stand ready.  He wanted to save the energy.  A minute or two before contact was plenty of time to get ready.

"Save it up, Larry...we'll be there soon..."  He reached down and patted the larg.

  Hemlsy   turned his  COM  full up... He   lip sinked the guy at the Beginning.. Karson was  laughing.

  Shadow  was  dancing in place..getting a bit better  at his   moves...

 Larry   tilted his ehad   as he Looked at Shadow, the  swung his   large  head towards   Roy  and  gurgled  a bit.

  Sh-Ba  frowned at the  Hemsly and even more at Show ...as she  said,.. we have  two people  ready on the Hanger  Dec.. they  will be on  either side of the   static field... so?  they should be safe...

 Will was   Grinning.. Shoey    was chewing his  gum a bit  faster... The Gun ports  wer  opening , Nagy's Bubble  went   just a little   pasy the Hull wall  as  did the others.. they had  no gunner s on the port side...  they had  all three AA  guns on the   starboard  armed..


  Shadow  said over the COMs....beth?  can you see  anything  in the other side?

  Hack ehre.. that means  the area is Under  Demon Control....whether its  supplies..food   or   warplanes.. its  theirs ..

 The ship  got closer...  Hemsly such the  song off after it was over.. they could see  to  orange  pant legged  people with Blue  tops headed to  either side of the static  field..  it shimmered, meaning  things  could go  in and out  easier..

 Sh-ba  stood  behind them as the ship veered  closer  and the ramp came  down the whole way

  Nagy and the   AA Gunners  opened up  chewing through   crates  and  Bodies.. The Shadow    yelled.......wahhhhhh...hoooooooooo  and  Jumped the LAt 10 yards   through the static  field..   he  hit   and Rolled m Blasting  the first Orange  suit he saw.. there  were  two  fighters  still on the Dec.. one on each side.... a Burly Tech  came At Him with a giant Pipe  wrench, Shadow   shifted  and    drove  His Blade into the  fellow  and  they both fell to the  dec.

 Lippen and  Cora   Oepned   up from the     top of the ramp before charging down...   Supe  ran down the left side  letting out Bursts   from teh  30 cal.

 The Angels walked  down   coolly aiming    at   targets..  Black shirted   SEC  were   running down  stairs   on  wither side of the   Hanger Dec  where offices  were..

 Hemsly and Karson   followed  shadow     and used  sidearms in thier  left hands  as they held their  'grenades' looking for something to blow up.

 a tech ran towards the  Bodies that were  Shadow  and the Big Tech..she never  made it as   a nasty   Arrow   seemed to spout from her left hip, she  fell with a   scream of    pain... McNeil   ran down with her    weapon

 Lirg  and Ma-Ti  looked over the   area    first shots like they were paying for them out of thier pocket.

  Will    Moved  ahead of Harry  as they  ran down the ramp

 Tucker  and Duke  were Near Supe...

Roy chuckled as Larry gurgled at him.  "Yeah, Larry, everyone's confused by Shadow dancing.  But if it gets him ready, more power to him..."  He gave the larg another pat, then leaned back and smiled at the antics, and at Sh-Ba trying to make any sense of them.

When the music shut off, he raised himself up from his leaning position, tensing slightly.  "Real soon, now, Larry..."  He slipped the sniper rifle from his shoulder and held it with one arm, resting the majority of its weight on his shoulder.  Shadow leapt clear, and Roy shook his head slightly, still grinning at the LC and his choice of tactics.  He let the others lead out, rifle in one hand and the leash in the other.  "Don't pull, Larry, you'll throw off my aim..."  He stopped at the static field, surveying the battle and looking for targets...and, more importantly, for anything that looked like organized resistance.  Anyone he saw giving orders became a priority target...as long as he could keep the station forces in disarray, he'd be adding a major advantage to their attack.

And there was always the option to sic Larry on them...

 As Roy looked a round, there  were a couple Of Orange  suits that were  yelling and Pointing, they all only  had  tools  and side arms.

  To his right, he saw the Blueshirt Go  down as he was   stabbed   by and  Ornage Clad 'ESN' member.

  But, from the top of the stairs  Black jackest were  yelling  at the Black Uniformed   troops as the  ran down the    three flights of  steps... some of the Smarter ones   Knells at the LAndings  and Began Searching for  Targets.

  Cora was the first to be hit as   a rifleman from the  2nd landing to the Left got her Thigh... Sh-Ba  ran down the  ramp a bit  , Grabbed her   and easily  turned, dragging  her behind  her for the Med tech  to work on.



   SHdaow  Got the    Big  Guy off him,  the LC was  covered in blood..   He grabbed the Hover Jack  near Him   turned it on  and stabbed the Safety  stop... the  Hover  jack  flew at all  Speed into Bareels   of   Cleaning Fluids, two of them  were  Puntured  , and  be gan to Gush   the  greenish   liquid  onto the dec

Henry and Mila hung back as directed. He looked round to see if he could find a shotgun, or failing that any longarm...

Roy unclipped the leash.  "Up there, Larry.  In the black suits.  Go get 'em!" he said.  He really hoped his theory about the larg's intelligence...or at least understanding...was somewhere close to accurate.  He waited just long enough to see whether Larry took off before bringing his rifle up to start picking off the riflemen above.

  Henry can find  2 Pusle  rifles  and a  Sanri Blaster (  like shadow's..more or less a  sawed off shotgun in Pulse  form)

 Mila  Looked  aroudn her whines  were not  of fear  But  Concern.

 Larry.. Looked to  thier   Right as  soon as  the release was clicked, the Larg fired off like a  furry-scaled  torpedo.. Right  Past Harry and Will...

 Will shouted, Cripes!   The    beastie  Slammed into an Orange  Suit  that was  Comign up from behind Tucker  and Duke, the  Man  screamed and  Fell   to the  Dec , missing  his left leg from the knee  down...  The Black Suit   Men   Kept  firing at the  Hermes  people ,  until the LArg Hit the  First one at the Bottom  of the  right  hand stair way, Claws   Ripped  and     the   Jaws  clamped, one shake of the ehad and  an Arm went  flying into the Melee on the Dec... Fire  slowed from the Bottom  part of the stair s  as  Men and Woman screamed about the creature  working it s way up....

 Lirg  took a Pulse round  to the Chest, it  burned through his  chestplate, Fur and  burnt skinned smell filled the   air.. he  snarled  But  continued to    shoot.

 Ma-Ti dropped to a  knee  as soon as she was off the Ramp..  aiming   for enemies   that were   further away.

 Shadow  was  now   By crates, some plastic, some Metal , some wood   that were Getting  Chewed Up   from fire  from  both stairways... He   Caught Hemsly's  attention and Pointed to the punctured  barrels   and  fluid  near and around the fighter  on the   left side of the Hanger..

 Sh-Ba  said  on  All COMs,..I am sending    two of the  Gunners to the Port AA guns... Demonic  fighters   are  being launched from protection  fleet....also?  I  believe thier is activity ion the other side of the wall...

Henry will grab the Sanri blaster and make ready to shoot at anyone in range. He sends reassuring thoughts to Mila.

Roy shifted focus, thinning out the black uniforms on the stairs...especially if he saw anyone pointing a weapon at Larry.  It didn't take long to empty the sniper rifle, and he set it down, muttering, "It's a shame I didn't have more rounds for that Largran rifle..."  It had made really large holes in the people he hit, and seeing someone next to you suddenly hollowed out by a round you never saw coming was a great morale-crusher.  But it had served that purpose earlier.  He scanned the battle, looking for a line of approach to the stairs that wasn't the focus of too much fire, and at least semi-protected...

   Roy,  Henry and  anyone else on the ramp could see   crated and  Such to  Move  to.. Most were just trying   to make it   to the Back of the Hanger

  Roy managed to bring  Down  3  Black Uniformed   people,,, a 5th  Fell over the  2nd  railing  when hit  by another that fell from the first Landing..

  Larry had  Taken a few Pulse rounds...   He  Now  bit  to Maim, as he tried to   climb the stairs of the people who were  Hurting him..


 He  Let out a Blood curling Howl... that  spattered  the   woman in front of him with Gore  from the fellow he  Just  tore into, infront of her.

Tapping her foot along to the music Harry would join the rest of the team in their preparations; checking her weapons and armour...well...flak vest were good to go as well tying  the black and white skull bandanna that had been hanging about her throat about her head so as to keep her hair out of her eyes whilst she did her thing.

It was as she was checking that her Uzi was locked and loaded for the third time that she'd burst into a gale of laughter when the subject of Captain Lightning came up with the look on Sh-Ba's face making the situation even more comical. However before long all the banter would dry up as The Last Hope made it's final approach into the Hangar Dec.

As Shadow hurled himself off of the ramp at the nearest enemy, Harry would follow Will down the ramp "Come on boys! they're playing my song and it's time to dance!" she gleefully shouted, quickly side-stepping behind Will to avoid being knocked over by Larry as it shot down the ramp like a rocket "Nine hells that thing scare's the hell out of me!" she hissed into Will's ear before continuing down the ramp to take cover behind some crates. ONce she was in position she would scan the area for any sign of enemy troopers and more importantly the ESN fighters the hangar was supposed to contain.

    Will  Just chuckled as he peppered  the  Deck  with fire  from his grease Gun..   Aiming  for the legs  and  letting the enemy fall in pain, Unable to   fight...unless they dropped  down?..then they  took rounds to the chest and head.

 Hemlsy  Tosses   one of his 'biskets' towards the fighter  on the Left,  where the Gathering of  Fluid ..went Up Like a Newyears rocket..

  other BArrels  exploded   Fire   raged   High.   and the  Fighter  starts to  smoke  from  O2 in it s lines...  The Black  uniforms on the  2nd     landing   caught fire.. They screamed  and Fell, or  Jumped.. those who  Jumped , merely landed  in the  burning  Mass of    cleaning fluid...  smoke  started to   Rise... Shadow  shouted...

 ..head of the Other side!!!!


 The Orange suited   enemy didn't have to be told   when they saw the  greenish smoke of  Powercell casings....The white Hot   explosion  sprayed the  area  with  droplets of   fire.. the Bottom  two  stairs were Gone, and  the burning, shattered bodies of the Black  uniforms  were scattered about..

  Top Landing still held 4  troops   counting the Offcier  who was pointing out  Targets.

 Tucker   Fell    as his Back  was   Hit..  Supe   ran Over   to   Proect  him  as he  tried  to   being his  30 Gal to Bear

Duke  was   near them firing   away.

 On the right hand side.. One    person in a flight  suit was shouting as the wounded  Larg clawed its  way ( literally )  up the  stairs...  The fighter  Below thier   stair was  safe  from barrels.. but it was getting  crowded...

 Jo- wa  fell  as  two Pulse  round   hit his chest barely an inch aprt.. Az-el's eyes looked for the shooter.

  Lirg was on one knee he had taken  two more   rounds  and  it was starting to wear on him, his  chest plate  was  fragmented from  hits..  From Behind  Him.. Ma-ti  hit  one of the shooters  from the  left had  side..  the Body  fell into the    burning, smoking  wreck of the HAmmer  IV.

   Shadow Waved to  Harry... he pointed   at his  own leg that  was   covered in Blood.. though he had been covered by the  man he gutted, so it was hard to tell....

  He pointed at his chest..and shook his head  no... then Pointed at her..then to the remaining Fighter.. and Nodded his head  ..yes..

  The Man In the   Flight   suit  was  thrown against the  Wall  as he looked  at the Aqra  arrow in his chest..  in reflex...he   pulled it out,  and the  blood  flowed  like a fountain... Flores grinned.

 Roy Could see the  Larg  fighting His  way Up the stairs..  he saw the   fellow in the  Fight suit  die... there were 7   black uniform left on the stairs.. but now they were worried  about  the LArg..

 Hawkes  stayed  close  to  Henry Like a Human shield..  he had  taken a hit in the right  thigh.. but  pushed  past  it to fire  at the   15 or so Orange    suits that were still left...

 Both of the resistance people, on the  Dec,  had  died.

 Garrat  saw  the explosion and the   Black uniforms on either side of the Hanger...

 Teela saw the  same.. and the   shrinking  mass of  orange  suits that could  still fight

Roy broke into a dash to the stairs, following Larry.  A machine pistol was in one hand, he used the other to help him stay steady going up stairs covered with blood and body parts.  Once he had a relatively clear line of sight, he started firing bursts over the larg, into the black uniforms that were shooting at Larry.

     Roy  brought  another  Man down.. a wet puff of  Blood   shot  from Larry as he took  another Hit.. he  was whining. and Growling at the same time.

     He  hard from  Behind Him,...SM...LOOK OUT!!!. ad smaller   women  with  Large  Blade sued  to   cut  the   package wrap    Truned away from  Roy and Swung  at Lippen,   Hitting Her  In the Belly, right below her  chest Plate.

 Shoey was  running Over     to help  But  Had  to  Stop and  Grapple  with a  guy who had  his service pistol  dawn..

Roy raised the pistol and sprayed a burst at the woman who'd stabbed Lippen, aiming at her upper torso and head.  He waited just long enough to verify the hits before turning to go after Larry.

    The  Woman Died  fast..   Lippen was   on he r  knees   with her  lands on her  belly.

  The Blast of a sanri   sent  a  orange  suit  Baxckwards   as   Shadow  dragged himself  around his  'fort'  to  try and   help cut  down Orange Suits.

 Arms   Gabbed  the Legg of the last person to  shoot him,  and  bgan to  Take  foot long Bits  of the Leg, as he worked  his way up the Body.. the  Man's  screams  echoed over the Gun fire.

Teela waited a moment, waiting for Larry to cause holy hell before erupting out of the transport and taking a leap into the air, her wings carrying her to the scaffolding and walkways above where she began shooting down into the mass of black and orange.

Fire. Move. Fire. Move. She kept repeating the pattern but making her movements random so no one could guess where she was heading next. She saw the shrinking group of orange-suited bad guys and made sure none of her people were in their midst before lobbing a fragmentation grenade at them.

"Fire in the hole!" She said over comms before moving to another position.

  Shadow  Ducked  behind   a  crate  as the   grenade  went off, Killing  2  orange suited  people  and  wounding   One.. there  were  8 Left, but t wo were wounded  as they  tried to fight on

 Teela  did  manage to   hit  one  black Uniform on the  top lever that Larry and Roy  worked up, then   woman fell half  way  in and out of the door.. the door  could not  close the whole way.. There  were  Two Black uniforms  Left.

 McNeil  was On the  Dec.. crawling to  a  crate, she   put her Back against it  and   looked  for  someone to shoot.

From her position behind the crates Harry would fire several short bursts of fire from her Uzi at the orange clad people attacking them. It was as she was doing so that she would catch sight of Shadow and his pantomime, with the blonde pilot turning to look at the sole surviving Hammer by the stairs  before turning back to nod at Shadow with a grin on her black painted lips.

After firing another quick burst she would duck down into cover and speak to Will in a loud voice so as to be heard over the sounds of battle raging all around them "Will! cover me,  I'm heading for the fighter" she said nodding her head in the Hammer's direction. Moving into position she would wait until Will began to fire before breaking cover and sprinting towards the fighter in a zig-zag pattern like they'd taught her in basic so as to make herself a harder target to hit, all the while praying that the Hammer was combat ready and not a show piece.

  The Hammer IV  sat  along.. several  nicks on it   from stray rounds or burts a Piece of  Teela's  frag stuck in the Port side  wing , which was  facing the  Hand Bay..

 Over the COMs  Harry  Could  hear Sh-Ba....Lt  Osten... theb HUman Male was   Shot  down..he  Poded  out , but it won't matter  if  we lose here.. The Hillite  and En  Liles  are  fighting two Demon fighters  and    1  LArgran..

Over  All COMs,..the Scot  flights  we have in the air  are  meeting  some  Empire    fighters  they are sending in to  'investigate'.. this will not go well..  If You can Take the HQWe can  turn the  Staions AA guns  on the Empire...Admiral white has    graciously  gave  us the   Codes  to  turn them on... I will have Beth Relay  when  you call for them

Garrat remained on the ramp somehow staying up right as he fired his anti material gun on full auto into the dark soldiers on the right side of the room.  His height made him a target but allowed him to look down over the top of his comrades.  His large high velocity rounds punched through any cover the enemy found and would do fatal damage whether it hit the ankle or the chest.  He relied on Ma-Ti to handle the other side of the room.

Roy followed hard in Larry's path, glad he'd grabbed dermafoam when the prospect of using Larry's aggressive nature had been suggested...they be using plenty of it on the larg.  He paused, spotting the last two black uniforms that were still on their feet, and fired a burst at the closer one, before taking a few more steps in pursuit of Larry.

Henry moved slowly down the ramp, firing pot-shots at the enemy as the opportunity arose. He kept half an eye on Larry, concerned about the larg and wondering if he'd stop or carry on no matter how much damage he took.

   Garrat's...  fire  tore  Into the Last  Man  at the top of the right side.. There were screams  from the  Thin walls of the office   as    two round s  went  through the    wall  between the   door way  and   shattered  window..

   Shadow  Had Just Finished  a woman with His trench knife    after  she  tried to batter him  with Cargo Lever.     has He looked  around  he saw Henry.. Pointed to him  , then mila and waved them over..mila  Barked..

  Duke..    took care of Tucker  with  some  derma foam while Supe  took a  pair  of  round  from  the  left...  his MG  still firing.

  McNeil  looked tired and  was a few  feet from Shadow  as he waved for Henry.

   Sh-Ba  shouted to those on the Ramp.....  you have to get in..or get off.. if that pilot gets the HAmmer  flying, I will have to  Move the ship ...


 Lirg,   jumped off   followed  By Ma-ti.. Lirg still    firing  as Ma-ti   trimmed another Black  suit from the left side.

  Hawkes   Limped along with  Henry,  his  'easy going ' looks replaced  by one of   pain and fury.

  Shoey reached  Lippen and  began to    spray    foam into the   Cut   KArson   stood  near  him  firing  with a side arm

 Harry  and Will     moved through the  battle Will jerked  for a Moment but kept  Moving..  two Orneg suits, some  what protected   By a Hover Jack were  hear the fighter..  Will  fired   at the   one    closest to them and the MAn went  down. then launched himself   ito the  Woman Behind  him  bringing  her    Down and slammed the  greasegun butt into her face....GO..HARRY!

 Hemsly Made hIs  way to  Shadow.

 Az-el  looked  around  and   Kileld   another   orange  suited crewman, before  checking on Jo-Wa

 Teela    took out  another Black uniformed    person  through the  shattered window that seemed to be lying in wait...he never thought to look up..

   Flores    went to  Supe , Duke  and Tucker.... she looked  for targets.. but   the enemy was   all, but thinned out.

 Roy's  weapon took out the  Closest one..  Garrat's weapon  Killed the last one they  could see... though he  heard    screams of surprise   from two of GArrt's round that went the through  the wall.. and  another one  from the weindow.

  Larry  stopped  at the   first  landing, seeing  no more moving  people..  He looked  back at   Roy..his bloodied   Teehc  and  dripping Jaws in  somewhat of a  Smile... But Larrys sides  were laboring..his   eyes  held   pain...

Henry prompty jogged over to Shadow, Mila capering along beside him.

"What can I do?" he asked.
