I always check for songs to  be 'mood songs"... many times  I have  some of the songs I used , playing at the time I am writing up a scene, for  folks to RP from.. Helps  me   get the mood, down.

Okay, it looks like I need to be a little more strategic.  In terms of points of the compass where are the nests and landing vehicles in relationship to the tank Garrat is hiding behind.

for Garrat and   everyone from Stoly's  group.. you are  (were ) headed  south.. The    mountain is to  your  right.. the  ocean to your left...Supe  ducked   behind the   Nose of a   Tank that was  about  20 yards  from the  water.. relatively in the open .. The first of the three   is  being shot up by stoly , the best he can, and a burner.. it is about  10 yards  down range to the South....

 The Send one ( garrat's  ) is  another  10 yards, and he   would have  had  to m ove  down    filed to get i.. there is    soem more  'dead bit' of tanks  and  blown landing craft.. but the  Heavy Pulse   are elevated... and the fish in the can are n't just goign to let you shoot  for  free. the Htird   craft is  10 more yardsand they are unloading.. You  Supe and Tucker  are on the  left of the beach.. you have  other close begind you  firing, but pinned  down

It's sooo hot, can barely stand the heat. Fans at night for a bit so I can sleep. Running generators a couple of hours at a time to keep freezer going, and some fans.

I can only imagine, Cookie. Its  been   in the 80s  and 90s here... ( I forgot my drinbk 2  Sunday's ago for football, and thought I was  goign to pass out... one of the other  guys  had an extra  water bottle.)

   Hang in there Cookie.  I find dollar tree popsickle molds and fruit juice to be a real life saver.  I'd invite you to come up here as it has been a cool summer but it's going to get hot in the next few days.

 Garrat is  on the north end of the Beach  with Stoly's group.


 Nikki is   at the south  end... there  is like.. 5 miles or  so of beach between them ( ehnce  'nroth  and south postings)

We've been in the mid- to high-90s (and even low 100s) here for the past couple of weeks.  It's at the point where performers came backstage during the first show yesterday and said, "It doesn't feel as hot today..."  It wasn't as hot...but it was still 93 degrees.

Isn't cooling down much at night, either...I think the overnight lows for the past four or five nights have been in the high 70s.

And we're still a month out from the hottest part of the year...

In the UK we are having - for once - a real summer with clear skies and high temperatures, which has been going on for a month or more. Most days at least somewhere in the UK reaches 30 degrees (86 in Farenheit). I'm loving it.

The last summer this good was in 1976!

Mid high 60's here and raining buckets today.  Last week it was hot and sunny (hot here is anything over 72).  Bad thing is hot and sunny...mosquitos.  Rain not so much mosquitos.
of course if your in Canada you know Alaska is the same for black flies.

 yesterday was  83  all the  way up to 8PM..then we had  some rain..its almost 11 here now, and its 73... for PA  its  good   65-75..after that it  gets  'thick air"

 the last few  Sundays  playing football were bad, the younger   guys were even dragging
