Nikki listened to Hacks ship wide announcement.  "Cool.  Think there will be a 'Delta Night' Here as well?" she asked Justin and Harry. She grinned a bit.  "Oh...just a thought.  Remember the item Teela was looking for?  This might be a good place to find it" she finished eating the sandwich.

”please, like mankind ever needed a reason to pick a fight...I certainly didn’t” Harry said with a grin as Nikki spoke of the Terran's proficiency in battle followed by her own particular reasons for fighting. Personally Harry figured that she’d sooner fight the Empire who deserved everything they got rather than some poor sod she thought had been looking at her funny.

It was just as she was finishing her sandwich, dabbing up a few errant blobs of ketchup, that the Admiral would make his announcement that they had just docked with Fuji <DarkBlue>”you hear that Nik? Time for all us good little girls to go partying” she said before turning her attention to the suggestion that they may be able to find the item that Teela had been searching for on Anzio ” I don’t think we’ll need to worry about that, last I heard things had changed on that front she said with a shrug to show she didn’t know all of the ins and outs of the situation ”...either way I say we pack this lot up and hit the station, it’s high time we had a little fun

"Works for me...I do have to go pick up Haley and all.  Gotta find out about her first day of school" she folded up the books and the map that was in one of them "Justin....your not gonna hide on ship are you?  might do you good to go aboard station.  Thank you again for buying lunch." she stood up then finished her tea and policed her area quickly.  Finally picking up her books "And next time I get to use the SIMS I won't crash them....especially with either of you chasing me" she gave a bigger grin.

Do you think the SIM updates and recent Ships encounters and the like magically appear and install themselves in the units. Someone needs to code them. Pointing his thumb towards his chest for emphasis.

"ok, in which case I'll meet you on the hangar dec" Harry said with a smile as she got up from the table "...and thank you for lunch Justin, that was real nice of you...oh and do as Nikki says, the Hermes will survive without you for one day" she said, suspecting that despite what she and Nikki said about him visiting the station and enjoying himself that he would still probably squirrel himself away somewhere in order to do something technical.

With lunch finished and the three of them going their separate ways, Harry would head for her quarters in order to pack a bag as well making a few calls in preparation for a girly night out on Fuji.

After Hopefuls  were picked...

 Most of the Piltos  were  on the Rec Dec... Kat was in her  bed sleeping off a 'barfight/bender'...

 Howe, Fitz,Steele, Foster , He-La and Of Course ,Frans  and Shadow  Looked over  the   Hopefuls  as they were permitted to order  food and drink of thier choice, On the LC.

 Frans  sips from a   cocktail,we are going to have to sort them out fast....

  I gave  Captain Morris  my  view.. he'll take it from there.. have to move some of the rookies around  we have to keep in mind, thier  only combat came from chasing off  Evols  or   pirates... Abby has three Kills. One of them a Demon Scout..The only other  guy with a Kill, we  sent off..

 He Looked to  Flores  and Justin, I was thinking of Shifting  Justin and Waggles  over to another Flight.. we'd  pick up  Abby and the Vampic... I don't want  any other   Flight leaders  dealing   with the Vampic, until we are sure  we can count on  them...

After a short stop over at her quarters, during which time she would have a much needed shower and change into a fresh duty uniform before then sorting out her bag, Harry would enter the Rec Dec clinging to Will's arm like a love sick teenager. Taking a seat at her usual table, she would order herself a beer and some chili con carne from one of the many waitresses currently circulating the Rec Dec. It was as she was waiting for her food to arrive that she would take a moment to check out the new blood in their shiny new uniforms, wondering how many of them would still be around after their next engagement with the enemy.

  The Flight leaders  were havign thier  way  with the    new recruits.. they had to get up  and sing a song

  Abby got up from  Shadow  table. Flores  gave a smile of amusement, as the new  pilot   headed to  Harry's table.

Henry and Mila arrived on the Rec Dec and looked around for a place to sit. Henry needed to explain to Mila about the disks he'd been given, but this probably wasn't the place to do so, he'd keep that for later and a more quiet place!

 Roll , Haley and   gregor  sat near the risers where Shadow's table  sat.

 larry  shared  half of one of the steaks with gregor, while the  Kids  had   a slice of ...what passed for apple...pie  and a milkshake.  Jax  sat  near them as well, so Sneak could  earn afew extra  creds.

 The German LT Looked at his   COM , Stood  up and announced to his people they had  10 Minutes  before they had to appear on the rec Dec.

 Hemsly Looked at Shadow.. both men just shook thier heads.

Seeing Larry and Gregor Mila headed in that direction, wagging her tail. Henry followed over.

  Larry   thumped his tail,,  droppign the  other half of the steak he shared with Gregor by Mila.

  Gregor   stoo   up   and thumped his little tail as he 'eepped'  a few times at Mila  before settling down to the steak.

  Shadow  says,..hey Doc?   how was yur shore leave?

 Hemsly grabbed an extra  chair   for  Henry.

Civie section by way of sports feild, Garrat enters, a eooden practice sword held respectively in one hand, pulls up short at the sight of the new troopers.

   "Schönen Tag. was bringt dich auf die hermese." [good day, what brings you to the Hermese?] His german is very old and almost not understandible, but he gets his point across.

  THe  LT  Looks  at Garret , a few others   as well..others  just keep eating.

  ..Ve  are the   6th  Mountain.. ve haff come here to aid in fighting the  Demons... we haff  just arrived, und the LC is having  us  food and drink for  Velcome.

     Garrat's eyes narrow but his voicestays positive if formal.  "Then I welcom you, and look foreward to fighting along side you.  The LC is generious.  You will have free food after every battle.  I hope that you become part of the unit quickly.  There are usually ...growing pains and we have little time for those.  If you wish for a tour I will be happy to guide you after your meal."

As Abby joined them, babbling excitedly about being assigned to B flight with her, Viktor and Teela, Harry would glance across at Will with a look of mock despair "I don't know Will, it seems they'll let anyone join B flight now" she said before flashing her sister grin to show that she was only joking "welcome to the flight, though for the record the weird Angel with wings is my wing lady and prefers to be called Teela" She said just as the waitress arrived with their drinks with Harry pausing long enough to thank her before turning her attention back to her sister "Will and I are getting something to eat, you're welcome to join us if you like?"

Mortica walked onto the RecDec with Viktor and immediately walked over to Roll and kissed him on the top of the head. “Hello my son. Are you having fun so far?” She reached over and scratched Gregor around the ears, scratched Larry and gave Mila some loving pats to the head and stroked her back. “Henry, Mila, and Larry, my other favourite people on the Hermes,” she said with a smile before sitting down.

   Abby  Looked around,.. who puts  wings on themselves!.. she looked at  Will,would you want wings  on HArry?

 Will shook his head,..Naw.. get in the way of...things.... Thos e wings  Helped Me once... saved my life in fact..but?  So did Larry's legs... I  don't want to see Harry  with   another  set of legs!

   The Younger   sister   giggled...so?.. what's the chances  of  me getting  to be Shadow's  Wing?... Maybe on of the other ladies   move off?

  Gregor  was  about half  finished  with the   steak Larry  gave him.. his little  head looked around the Rec Dec as he chewed.

   Shadow stood  Up as he  gave the two Vampics a nod,.. Well Viktor.. in about 15 minutes  or  so.. you'll be taking the oath...  You have been assigned to My Flight..... I'll see you on the HAnger Dec   at  the appointed time. He  moved off to wards the elevators...

 Flores   smiled a bit   and Followed, But  stopped  by Harry's table.

 Hemsly  smiled weakly at the  Vampics  and    decided to concentrate on his  beer  drinking.

 Flores   eyes  narrowed a bit , but her   voice  stays  smooth,..you got  what?.. 80 hours  in The Black?... You got   3 kills..two slaver  shuttles  and one demon scout?   Check your ego at the door, sister. When things  go bad  out there.. you don't get to come back to the classroom and have your  instructor  tell you were  you messed up..

 she straightened. Will    frowned , shrugged, but nodded to Abby.

Mortica slipped an arm around Roll. "Ready to go to the hangar deck to watch Viktor take his oath to the APF? I did the same not too long ago. What about you, little beast?" She asked Gregor. "Let's go watch Viktor get sworn in to the APF then we can come back here until it's time for the sendoff."

"Do I hear my name being taken in vain and me being talked about whilst I'm not here to defend myself?" Teela asked as she walked up, giving Harry a quick grin before looking down at Abby. "I put wings on myself and I'm damned happy to have them. I'm guessing your my wingwoman's sister, yes?"

  Abby  nodded  as she  stared  at the   winged Angel.

  Flores  said,..Young Miss has been assigned to our  Flight along  with the Vampic... Little  Miss  was   just telling   us  how  'she'll do just  fine"

 Abby gave her ehad  a shake  as he drank from her beer.

 Gregor  looked at the   steak that had  yet to be  finished..sad little eyes stared at it, then back to Mortica.

 Larry threw  Back his head  and  swallowed the last half  of his last steak.

As Will and her sister discussed the downside of adding extra body parts to her, Harry would throw Will an amused look as she spoke, wondering whether or not she would have any say on the matter "oh, well I'm so glad to hear that" she said in a dry voice and a roll of her eyes before bursting out in laughter at Abby's suggestion that she might become one of Shadow's wing ladies "you have about as much chance of that happening as I have of being promoted to Admiral" she said just as Flores came to join them.

As Abby seemingly ignored Flores advice with her stating that she knew how to fly an icy look would enter Harry's eyes with her speaking to her sister in a cool voice "Tell me Abby have you ever flown in a battle? Not a simulation or a skirmish with only a handful of aircraft but a real gods be damned battle where the Black is swarming with hundreds of fighters flying in a  swirling maelstrom so fast and chaotic that you can barely tell friend from foe, with cap ships blowing each other to hell and your comms filled with the screams of you friends and colleagues as they are killed, with you all the while feeling each and every hit your fighter takes with you wondering whether the next one is the one that will punch your ticket...no? In which case shut up, drop the attitude and listen to those that have because I am not going to write that letter home to mum telling her that you've been killed in action even if that means I have to break your arms! Now is that understood?" Harry snapped wanting to nip this particular problem in the bud even if it meant being the bad guy.

With her piece said, she'd turn to smile up at Teela "sorry about that, take a seat, I haven't since shore leave began" she said pointing to one of the empty chairs.
